I am very unhappy, with the service I have gotten so far, and I haven't even picked up my trailer yet. When I booked the trailer on-line July 30. I booked a 6 x 12 open trailer. Then about an hour or so later, I get a call from someone at U-Haul to confirm my booking. We go through everything, the guy tells me I al all set for the trailer and I pick it up in Orangeville at 11 am on Friday Aug. 7 2015. Then he tells me I will get an e-mail to confirm the appointment. So later that night, I look at the e-mail, and it saids I have a 5 x 9 trailer book. Now today I call back to get this problem fixed, and the person I talked too ( Very nice and helpful person ) rebooks it, and Now I have to travel all the way to Brampton to get the trailer. I am very upset with the level of service I am going to be getting from U-Haul. I haven't even picked up the trailer and i'm already not happy with U-Haul. Makes me wonder if things are even going to get better with the service

There needs to be better check in and check out system. I did the express checkout and it still took me 45 mins to check in and 45 mins to check out. The ere needs to be a pre-check in area because people spend way to much time at the counter deciding what they want, it slows down the rest of the line. Also, the truck was old (which is fine) but the door did not open or close easily, a mechanical issue. So better maintenance was needed for the trucks

truck given to us have problem with driver side door and we waisted 3 hours waiting for tow truck and panicing to open the door we were on the highway we just get out to get somthing to eat when we come back we could not open the door and we have to call for help opning the lock

Windows didn't work Radio didn't work Air Con worked but not well * I was charged $47 in gas that I shouldn't have been charged for so when I called to complain about it the supervisor or manager wasn't available so I had to leave a message and no one called me back. I'm not happy.

Hire staff that can be a little more pleasant under pressure. It may have been busy, but the person that attended us didn't have any patience for our questions, and couldn't be bothered to make sure we had what we needed. Once through the check-in phase, we were tole to go outside where someone would bring us our vehicle. Sure enough, someone did come, look at our paperwork, and bring us a vehicle, hand us the keys and ask us to verify the gas and mileage were accurate. I completely forgot to check for the frontier pads I had booked. Driving back to the our home was a frightening experience - Despite the fact that I had not ordered any dollies, there was a hard slam on the back of the cab every time I'd hit the brakes. The dollies I hadn't asked for were unsecured in the back! This isn't something you want to do to someone inexperienced with large vehicles.! Anyway, I get home to find that the furniture pads weren't in the truck... anywhere! Next, through the U-haul site I'd booked help for moving with Best movers. While u-hul may claim to be a facilitator only, the mere fact that I am paying through the U-Haul site demands that you bear some responsibility for he services you have collected money for. The movers arrived an hour late, were rude, insulting, and ultimately I had to send them away early so that the rest of my moving experience could go a little smoother. Frankly, after this experience, I doubt I'll be using U-Haul again.

Short staff!! Truck was an absolute piece of junk, for a lack of better words!! Steering was not working properly, brakes locked up at times.. Truck was old, but most of all, I know that it was unsafe and not fit for the road!!! I ask for the manager, an employee said she wasn't available. I asked for her to call me, I haven't received a call yet!! NO SERVICE!!!!

Service was good, friendly and prompt. We would recommend better communication between the customer service call centre (to upgrade) and the Uhaul locations themselves. We were offered an upgrade of bigger truck and unlimited milage for 50$ which we gladly took. Sadly when picking up and dropping off the truck there was some confusion and we were asked to pay more than discussed. The matter was resolved but very time consuming for everyone involved.

see notes under RES# 90487754 as well I can not recommend uhaul to anyone regardless of the location or rental unit type. This was one of the worst experiences in my 45+ years. The reason I needed this "extra trailer" is that the original truck reserved (26ft) was not provided by uhaul (see res# 90487754) The reason I needed this "extra trailer" is that the original truck reserved (26ft) was not provided by uhaul Then you charge me FULL price to get this additional trailer when all my contents would have fit in a 26ft truck! What a joke! This trailer should have been at no charge. When I tried to discuss this with your customer service team member (Matt) - what was the reply? "....nothing u-haul will do."

On a Monday evening there is only one person working the desk. The line up was huge. I waited in line for 40 mins. To pick up a truck I reserved online. I asked the girl and she said she was the only one working. I asked why and she said she didn't know. She was a nice person bit seriously waiting almost an hour is crazy.

I've used this location many times, however one thing I've always felt lacking is the level of Customer service. It's always a hit an miss. There were two associates serving a lengthy line up, One who was an oriental female, was doing a great job, smiling seemed like she cared about her customers, but the guy I was served with, seemed to have a major attitude, looked like he was upset and didn't really want to service customers. I was hoping my turn would come and I'd get the lady but unfortunately he served me. This location really needs to work on their customer service. Other than that it's seems to be fine.

Overall we were not satisfied customers! I requested a 20 ft truck and was told the day before the move that it would not be ready until 11:00 a.m. The truck was booked way in advance with a pick up request for 7 a.m., all the arrangement were made with my helpers and we had a long journey to Quebec. The truck we ended up with was only 15ft and not big enough for all the items we had and therefore many things were left behind! The truck we had was severely out of alignment and therefore difficult to drive. All stressed out after 1200km's we arrived at our destination! When we returned home we had to deal with all the items left behind. It turned into a nightmare trying to find storage for the stuff left. Our experience with your company was not very pleasant due to the fact we were supplied with the wrong truck size. Perhaps have a 3rd agent in the beginning of the day when most of the pickups happen to make the lineup move quicker. Otherwise great job and very hi tech with the returning of the vehicle. Good experience from booking it on my phone the day before to pickup and return.
