Your new computer system took for ever to get checked in. Had problems on both ends of my move with an hour to get taken care of. Gate on 2nd u box was not oiled and took a lot of force to get down. Entire staff at Ogden went above and beyond to make my experience of moving cross country easy. Extremely accommodating.Billing problem in Green Bay. Took 4 phone calls to clear up.

The people were really helpful. The woman who checked me in went really fast and I ended up buying the insurance, which I would not have done if I had been able to get the gist of what she was saying. (I assume that should give her brownie points on your end, but not mine, as my own insurance covered your vehicle and I knew it.) That was the only bad thing I have to say about the service.

Need to add Mercury products to the list of vehicles that are towing the trailer.

U Haul is expensive. I did not realize that enterprise has free unlimited miles or i would have went with them. Moving is expensive enough, U haul should have free unlimited miles also!

The truck I was rented was on its last leg. The emergency brake didn't work, the dimmer switch didn't work, and on three different occasions the transmission failed.

I encountered several problems with the 1/2 Ton (Ford F-150) pickup (rated for ~2000 Lb cargo weight) that I rented. 1) The pickup bed was equipped with a plastic bed liner which made handling my load difficult. I was moving a single piece of equipment weighing about 700 lbs, mounted on casters. The mushy corrugated plastic liner deformed under the weight of the load making it difficult to position the item in the bed. While a bed liner may look pretty, it is definititely not useful for a light utility truck. 2) The (6) tie down points were flimsy 'D' rings attached near the stake pockets. The stake pockets were blocked with plastic covers. This made the proper securing my load unnecessarily difficult. Fortunately, I had a heavy tie down strap that I was able to hook under the protective bar that was installed across the front of the bed. That sturdy bar is actually a *good* idea, but you should add some heavy duty attachment points to it to facilitate the use of heavy tie down straps. 3) This truck did *not* seem to have ABS!!!!! (or it wasn't working properly.) That is almost criminal negligence in my opinion, particularly since the brakes on this vehicle were *very* touchy, much more than the vehicle that I drive daily, so that I could not adjust for emergency situations. I had someone cut me off on the highway in clear dry weather, and when I stepped on the brakes, one wheel (front, I think) locked up momentarily and the truck suddenly swerved in a very strange manner. So, I believe that your equipment is unsafe for emergency situations. It looks like I'm just going to have to get my own equipment for this type of transportation in the future.

Agent said they would waive my fees for the poor experience and the poor service, then called me today to tell me they were going to charge me.

Ogden uhaul branch confirmed entire contract and equipment the day before but was not there day of. I eventually got it the next day in Bountiful, however this put me in an extremely logistically problematic situation - one I had thought through for a month prior. Ogden staff took no responsibility, accountability, nor could they care any less. Ogden Uhaul put me in such a bind, that the next time I need certain equipment absolutely on said date, I'm going with Penske. Sorry Ogden uhaul, you really really really let me down, and it will be a long time before I forget the pain you caused.

I have had previous experiences in which I liked the overall experience but this time was terrible. We rented a covered 4' X 8" covered trailer. The trailer when my husband brought it home had a hole in the roof and you could see the sky through it. The whole idea of renting a covered trailer is to keep the wet off your things. Second, Whoever hooked it up was not very knowledgeable about trailer hitches, chains, etc... My husband and son-in-law had to reconfigure it because the attendant had not fastened it tightly and chain was dragging on the ground.

The 26' truck had a Coolant light on when I picked up the tuck. The attendant said it was okay to drive because the coolant reservoir was full. Approx 30 miles from the pick up point the "Break warning light illuminated, followed by the ABS warning, followed by the Brake Maintenance warning light, accompanied with the warning bell. I pulled into a Uhaul store and the tech there said he couldn't do anything but because the light warnings went out when I turned the truck off. He told me as long as the brakes worked I should continue to drive. If the brakes started acting funny to pull over and call the 800 number. The warning lights would come back on about every 30 -50 miles. I had to pull off and turn the truck off and everything would reset for the next 30-50 miles. This routine extended my trip by approximately 5 hours. Not a happy customer!

Trailer was broken when I was there to pick it up. They were working on it the best they could but it still took over an hour to fix and I was suprised they didn't have another trailer since they new it was broken. But they did reimburse me $50 because it was garenteed to be ready at my pick up time. I did have to bring it up to get reimbersed though. Over all though they were friendly and hard working.

Truck struggled to start, and shook horribly down the road. Driven many large trucks in my life and this one was by far the least confident I have every been with a vehicles condition.

Not much. The staff was exceedingly helpful. Taylor showed me all the features of the truck, explained the after hours return policy, and pointed out emergency phone numbers.
