The employee who helped me was extremely rude to me. I had a reservation for 2 days and was told when I arrived that they did not have a truck for me for two days. After arguing with this employee for about 20 min, I was finally able to get the truck for the time that I had reserved. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience with very poor customer service.

Was very frustrated as there appeared to be quite a bit of confusion for such a simple rental. When I called to confirm the day prior, the clerk couldn't find it within the computer and then seemed put out by my asking him to continue to look as I needed to know it was there!! The day of pickup, I was also upset when I was told by the clerk that my brake lights were working and when my grandson checked before we left the parking lot, they were not. I was upset that the clerk risked my families safety by sending us out on the road without lights...simply unacceptable!! I will not be back to the Grand Forks location that is certain!!

phone system for location was out of order. had to call south end which would have been more convienient for me to use but they did not have truck. Both locations should have access to the same equipment!!! People at North End were VERY NICE!! Customer service was excellent. Location was the only complaint.

The only issue I have ever had with Uhaul is the fact that you seem to be able to reserve a truck but then at the end, it is not a "true" reservation and you don't have a truck when you need it.

I have nothing but good things to say about this location. I do have a very bad review of U-Haul in general after my experience. I reserved a 14' Truck for my move and when I went to pick it up, there was no truck. I had to move, so I took the only available option of a pickup and tiny trailer. It was a huge inconvenience and I didn't even get a discounted rate. I might have gotten $5 off the trailer which I more than made up for with all the extra miles I had to drive. Again, this location was very good to work with, but they were not the problem. I don't think I can honestly tell anyone to pick U-Haul after this.

The first place I was sent to was Johnson Oil at Hallock,MN which had rented my trailer out the day before so I wasted time and money to get a trailer that wasn't there!

The young man who checked me out was not pleasant. He was not blatantly rude, but was certainly annoyed with his job. The most important thing for a customer to hear when a transaction is complete is "Thank you!" When our walk through was complete he grumbled, "You are good to go." as he walked away from me. I spent nearly $300 to rent this truck and brought it back to Grand Forks with twice as much fuel as it had when I picked it up from Crookston, MN! This lack of appreciation will certainly steer me toward one of Haul's competitors.

The staff in Grand Forks was very accommodating to my requests
The vehicle was ready to go upon my arrival and they explained the early morning drop pff procedure
I would SURELY recommend their facility to others

The rental took a very long time, they had a lot of issues with the computer system and when it was scheduled, they scheduled the truck at a different location than the U-box that I scheduled.

Brian was especially helpful when I had to park overnight my U Haul trailer at the U-Haul lot while I went to Fargo to pick-up and load a U-Haul truck and drive back to Fargo. Brian helped unhitch the trailer, and secured the hitch (put lock on). The next day I came back to pick-up the trailer to unload it and again Brain was there to help hitch the trailer up to my vehicle. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

For some reason, the trailer we reserved was not checked in and ready for us when we arrived. It was no big deal because we had plenty of time and it only took a few minutes to check it in and check tire pressures.

The general manager Brian was great but one of the other workers was beyond unhelpful. Made the experience very inconvenient. Brian was able to take care of everything and really went the extra mile.
