Your local location was great, but I will NEVER book online again. My husband uses U Haul quite often for work, but never books online. I decided I would go a head and book through your site for our personal move. Upon booking, I received a message we would be contacted by a certain time to confirm the time of pickup. When we weren't contacted by that time, my husband called the 1-800 number and the experience we had with your customer service was horrendous, to the point where I was ready to cancel and rent with Discount. The first lady we spoke to was rude and blatantly punted the call to another department. The second lady we spoke to was even worse then the first one and really didn't seem to give one care about our issue. After getting no where, a supervisor was requested. Turns out the supervisor wasn't in and we would have to call back the next day at 9 am. Called back and was informed that the supervisor was running late and that we would have to call back. After calling on the half hour and the hour, the supervisor decided to show up sometime between 11:30 and noon (Must be nice!). At that point I found out where the previous lady's received their customer service training... This lady was the rudest of them all. Finally we got a truck booked for 9 am at a location that wasn't even close to the original, but at that point I didn't even care. U haul really needs to look at a revamp of the customer service department lack there of.

The whole process was quick, painless (aside from muscle aches and pains), and not a as expensive as I feared. If I move again, I'll definately use U-Haul!

All the fluids in the truck were low (oil, etc) and when we asked the employees to top it up to ensure the truck would be alright for the distance we were driving they told us it would be fine and basically said we didn't know what we were talking about. Earlier when I had ordered a bunch of moving supplies from there I was told in an email it was ready for pick-up. It wasn't, so the employee scrambled around to collect everything and forgot a glass packing kit. I sent an email to the company about it but never heard back so I am out $20.

Although it was an ok experience this time, it pales in comparison to me last booking three weeks previous. Different staff, no warm greeting, no eye contact at booking. Just didn't feel as good, efficient yes, friendly no. I told all my friends how great the booking went last time, but this time, just ok. Certainly not bad, but just ok

I used my credit card for part of my bill and i was told it was declined. I left and went to the bank, I returned shortly and paid my entire bill in cash ($5897.47). I have now learned that my original Visa payment was not declined and that the partial payment of $1008.77 is still withdrawn from my account . TD bank has informed me to contact Visa fraud services to make a claim against U-haul, due to the U-haul call center having no idea how to settle this error. Thanks

I will be visiting the manager tomorrow! (as I was told they were unavailable when I dropped the equipment off) When I picked up the equipment reserved online I was quickly ushered to a running cab so did not look at the size I was given (plus I was not shown how to use the lock at the back nor given the pin to secure the sliding door!!!). When I arrived at the property to start loading to move, I then realized I did not receive the truck I reserved!!! I reserved a 17 foot and was given a 15 foot. I called the office location immediately to let them know so it was notated on file that I would be discussing when I return. Moving is always on a time essential basis so not receiving the equipment reserved was not acceptable but I had to work with it as we were now on limited time to move and I had to use the truck I had been given. I also informed them that I may have to do a second trip because of the company error in this. Which we did have to make! We were a two bedroom apartment and I chose the 17 foot on purpose online as we had additional bedroom furniture and it was the size recommended for this type of move by your company. When I returned the truck I was told that the "2 feet difference should not have mattered" repeatedly and felt this was very rude. Yes it did matter!!!! We had to make a second trip for three pieces of bedroom furniture that would have fit if we had the equipment I agreed to and reserved. So double kilometres, double gas used and double the time. And my time is very valuable!! I am a broker in the real estate profession and at first was impressed by additional services that uhaul has added to it's services. But will definitely not be recommending now due to my personal experience in helping my sister move. This was a trial run to recommend to my clients. I do believe there is a guarantee on your site that if I do not receive the equipment I agreed to on reservation then there is a 50 dollar return. I hope Uhaul lives up to this promise as I was not pleased as to how the error was handled either (charging me for the full kilometres with no apology either just telling me that the 2 extra feet shouldn't have mattered so I have to pay the full charges!!!) and cannot recommend to my clients at this time. Thank you

Was met with a smile and received excellent friendly service! Van was brand new. Was on my way in less then 5 mins. When returning was met at the van and was walking away minutes later! Way to go U-Haul princess st.
