Gas gauge needs to be verified before the person takes it off the lot. I had less gas in the vehicle than was stated. When I filled up, according to the chart, not only did I leave the vehicle with more gas than I had when I got it, but I also left more than was stated on the form.

Just that the gas mileage for these trucks is very low (about 5 mi/gal) which they may need to know to figure their cost. Otherwise, everything was great.

I thought the 17 foot truck would be too small for all my belongings. They assured me that it was fine. We had professional movers pack the truck and they could not get everything in the truck. We went back to the U-Haul place and they gave us a trailer for free because they underestimated the size truck I needed. I appreciated the service!
However we were told that we could drop off the truck and trailer at any location. So, we dropped it in Van Buren, AR at Toneys. We got charged for dropping it off at the wrong location! I am not really happy about that.

Great customer service. Picked up during HORRIBLE (rain, sleet, frigid) weather and guys were still cheerful, thorough and helpful. The overall would have been Excellent but their lot has one entrance on major thoroughfare --- tough to maneuver. However will return to their store - nice hardworking folks.

I picked up a 6x12 cargo trailer on Thursday May 2nd. Employee named Dakota hooked it up to my dads truck, which had a 1 7/8" hitch ball on it. After delivering my first load of cargo; which contained laundry machines, a bed, 2 loaded dressers, and some miscellaneous items, I experienced some strong bouncing and whipping coming from the trailer, while traveling down a mildly bumpy road the trailer came unhooked. I was immediately scared for my own safety, the safety of my dads truck, the safety of the trailer itself, and any cars that were near me at that time. Thankfully no other cars were nearby, and I was able to continue driving slowly and cautiously with the trailer only connected by the three safety chains, to a nearby residential street where I could access the damage to my dads truck and damage to the trailer if any damage had occurred. Thankfully, there was but a mere scratch on my dads trucks bumper, not enough damage for me to be concerned with. I then chocked the trailer wheel with a wheel chock, raise the front neck of the trailer with the scissor jack from my dads truck, and reconnected the trailer. As I was tightening the coupler I would occasionally rock the trailer forward and backward, until I was satisfied with how tight the trailer coupler was to the hitch ball. After I did this, with just my girlfriend as my assistant, the trailer drove a lot smoother and safer. I would like to see a discount or compensation of some sort for the potential danger, myself and my vehicle where placed under because of negligence of a Uhaul employee.

My service was great with the exception of one employee. My historical license plate was smashed in when he set the trailer on the truck and snapped the cover on my trailer lighting hookup all in about a minute. The other employees were great and very helpful.

The trailer we rented was JUNK! We rent from you frequently and have NEVER had a trailer that towed so poorly! It jumped all over the road and bounced excessively. I called en route and was told "we never have problems with our trailers" and upon returning it (early because I wasn't going to tow it anymore), we were told we must have loaded it wrong. Hmmmm? It towed poorly empty as well, so how could the problem be how we loaded it? The equipment appeared to be fairly old/roof patched all over and pretty beat up. Does anybody check these trailers to see how they tow before they are rented?

I had a confirmed reservation at the Wilderness Ridge Storage location, the day before I was scheduled to pick it up, the reservaction was changed to the 48th and Vine location due to the availability of the truck. This was highly inconvienent, if the Wilderness Ridge Storage location didn't have it available at the time I scheduled the reservation, they should not have confirmed the reservation. I chose the Wilderness Ridge Storage location due to it's proximity, as I was being charged $0.89 a mile the 48th and Vine location was needlessly 8.9 miles out of my way, and another 8.9 miles to return the truck. It cost me an extra $15.84 just to pick up and return the truck because someone changed my confirmation. When I went to pick up the truck, the driver's door was heavily damaged to the point where it was difficult to open. I called several times on the day of pick up and was promptly hung up on. This is arguably the worst experience I have ever had in a service industry.

I was very happy with the service that I received, but the truck that I rented left a lot to be desired. It drove roughly, lurching and sputtering. I definitely wouldn't have wanted to take it out on the highway!

I rented a truck, but no blankets or Dolly online. When I picked up my truck, there were blankets and a Dolly that I was forced to work around in order to not break the tie and be charged for using them. It took extra time and waasted space in the truck.
