This form was not really relevant for my entire experience. I had to use road side assistance and the office in Billings Mt. was not able to repair the truck I started in so had to unload and load another one which was not in near as good repair as the first before the deer hit. Plus the movers did not show up on time or with enough help to do the job. My partner and I had to help the one person that showed up make the move. I felt the truck we got from Billings was one they wanted to get off the lot. It was so noisy and vibrated so bad it made the rest of my move rather stressful. This truck needed an alignment or something it shook so bad. Also the truck I started with got almost 7 miles per gallon the second one barely got 5 mpg and it was flatter from Billings to Missouri than Moscow to Billings. Still the worst part was the movers not showing up, at my age doing all that moving was not a fun time.

The fellow that checked out our truck before we hooked up to the U-Haul trailer was a great help. He replaced all blown fuses, and made a complete check of the trucks wiring. I have to admit from the start to the finish, the U-Haul experience was excellent! Thanks U-Haul!

The cargo van (Ford Transit) was comfortable, clean, and spacious. It made a long trip - about 800 miles round trip - very bearable! We would definitely rent one again.

Hard to get excited about renting a truck from U-Haul. At the time I picked the truck up I asked the person there what was the expected range on a full tank of gas. He suggested 400-450 miles is average. From Moscow, Idaho I barely made it to Issaquah WA, a distance of less than 300 miles. I was getting ~9 miles per gallon. That is totally unreasonable. I've rented larger camper vans that got lots better mileage that that and I did not have a heavy load, barely had enough on board to cover the bed of the truck, no stacking. I never drove over 60, even on the freeway. Either the fellow didn't have a clue what to expect or he did and wasn't being totally candid. I was not impressed.

I would have recommend the location to anyone if it weren't for one employee who we dealt with. When I called and made the reservation the lady I spoke to was so sweet. Then when the trailer was picked up the guy was a total jerk. Completely talked down to my husband as if he was an idiot for not knowing everything about the car and trailer. We don't know things about cars and trailers and trucks. We are in different professions. That does not mean you can talk down to us and treat us like idiots. I would never talk down to a client for not automatically understanding everything about a contract. When I talked to the lady on the phone making the reservation she told me that the people there would be happy to help install it. Apparently that wasn't true because the employee acted like this was a complete waste of his time and he was annoyed my husband couldn't just figure it out. We are planning on moving next year and will need a big truck and because of this experience we will be going elsewhere.

I made a reservation n 11/02/2015. I was given a quote of $59.85 for three days rental . I was told I had to pay this amount when I picked up the truck, had to return it with the same amount of gas as when I picked it up and had to pay the $0.59 a mile when I returned the truck. I was never told I would have to have any hold made on my card for any other amounts. When I went to get the truck at the Moscow Idaho store, Adam told me I had to pay the $59.85 and have a hold of $170.00 placed on my card!! I explained I was quoted the $59.85 and would have to pay that on pickup and I was not told there were any requirements or "holds" that would be placed on my card. I could not cover this amount and I had to go to Spokane that day so I changed my rental to one day. I still was forced to put an $80.00 hold on my card. I complained to Adam ran my card and left. I never received a receipt or contract when I picked up the vehicle. When I got home I tried the links in the email I received when I made my reservation. I was taken to a page (see attached), I tried to use lings on this page to locate my contract and bill. I was unable to obtain this information as system kept requested I sign up for account or login. I attempted several times to sign up with no success. I used chat t he next morning to because I needed the truck another day, chat told me to call store. I called and spoke to Adam again and was told I would have another $80.00 hold on my card and I was currently using truck with out a valid contract. I said I only had $51.00 available on my card which is more than the renal costs and requested he placed the hold for this amount. "He said add funds or return equipment" I said I would call back in a few minutes. I discovered later Adam called back right after I hung up and left message for me "to add funds or return equipment". I then decided I did not want to keep the truck called and told him I was emptying it out, getting gas and returning truck. I was charged $114.00. I asked Adam for a receipt and he replied "he had just emailed me a copy". I did not want to argue any more and a taxi was waiting for me in the parking lot so I left. I went home and opened the email to view the bill. I could not read anything o the receipt even after enlarging it to full size. I was so pissed!! I called today and request I be emailed or mailed a readable copy of the bill and contract. I received it and opened it and am very pissed!!! My total bill for one day rental and mileage should have been $19.95 + $26.68 + tax. I was charged $79.00 for rental + $26.68 for mileage +$6.46 for tax and a $2.00 environmental fee(???????) for a total of $114.14 !! The three day quoted price would of been approximately $92.59.!!! I am so angry and I am calling customer service to request my bill be adjusted or I get to use truck for 2 more days. I WILL NEVER USE OR REFER UHAUL T ANY ONE AND I WILL TELL MY EXPERIENCE TO EVERY ONE I KNOW AND ANY ONE I HEAR

My mattress soaked up so much water that I'm not sure how to fix it. A $2000 bed potentially ruined because the truck couldn't keep the rain out. I guess I should count myself lucky that the bed was there to soak up all the water or all of my boxes would have been ruined too. I am so angry I can't even describe it and will be goin back channels to have this rectified.

Making reservations should solidify what is to be charged at pickup and if charges are higher than what is reserved a call to the reserved telephone number should be called. If a printed receipt is not available an email should be offered at pick up also.

don't put a dolly or furniture blankets in the u haul that I didn't ask for, right in an inconvenient spot. Great way for U-Haul to get more money, have a customer pull the dolly off its lock and trigger a fee.

I recommend filling up the gas to the maximum capacity in all U-HAUL vehicles prior to renting them out. I heard numerous stories with people having problems returning the vehicles because of gas levels complains. In my recent experience, the vehicle was filled to 7/8 on the paper but less in reality. When I asked at the front desk, one guy said that I am right but his boss said that I was looking from the wrong angle. From all the angles I could see the same result. Considering that most stories I hear about renting U-HAUL vehicles involve problems with gas level upon return, I think it is much ethical to rent the vehicles with full tanks from the beginning. This way your customers will not feel cheated.

Night and Day from the pick up location. I was greeted in the lot my return was inspected and they found an issue with the contract. (my pickup site entered it wrong) They worked with me to resolve in a fair and reasonable fashion and had me back on the road in no time at all. very courteous and professional these guys know ho to run a U-haul bossiness. Kudos to them!

I was unable to drop off my uhal at several locations because they were not accepting uhals, I am really frustrated that they charged me an extra day as it was not my fault that i could not turn it in on time. I believe that uhal owes me a refund for at least one day I have called and asked and was told that someone would contact me and that never happened.

The truck engine, transmission, and air conditioning were great! The inside noise level was severe and the seats, windows, and dash were dirty. The radio was poor and useless due to cab noise. The trucks need modernization so that phones and iPods, and or iPads may be used.

We had a mix-up with trailers and I talked to several customer service reps in the process of resolving the issue. Some had attitudes that turned me off, seemed not willing to give me the information that I needed. I finally reached Ginger in scheduling. She was friendly and worked some kind of magic to resolve my problem promptly. Thank you Ginger! Overall the experience was a good one, even though the sales person initially reserved the wrong trailer for us.
