Employees were rude, unprofessional and uninformed. Employees were more concerned with their plans to order pizza than with helping my wife and I with our move. Charges were not explained clearly, and I have strange amounts pending against my bank account which hadn't been explained previously as being needed to be withheld.

the store my reservation did not have my equipment, when i called customer service they were rude and not helpful. my dealings with uhual was not a good one. but when i was finally sent to the goldenrod location, MATT was nice.

AVOID THE UHAUL ON GOLDENROD!!
I have used this uhaul location (goldenrod uhaul) for at least five years and never had an issue. I am not sure if they change owners because it has changed completely.
This location has people who are scam artists. It was my fault for using this location because I ignored the warning signs. The first sign was a review from someone saying they change the mileage so they can overcharge, which they did to me. The second sign was a lady who was in front of me complaining about a CSR who was rude to her.
First, they tried to charge me for not refilling the gas. I refilled the gas at a kangaroo that's down the street. I didn't use the truck much, so I only needed to put 3 gallons, which was about $9. They said they two people checked the gas, but I insisted they check again. Of course, I was right because why would I not refill the gas? It doesn't makes sense not to refill the gas since they will charge you a $30 fee and I only used $9 worth of gas.
Second, they changed my final mileage. They said I traveled 47 miles. They also said a 10' truck gets 8 miles to the gallon. I put 3 gallons of gas back in the truck to get it to the amount I received the truck with. That means I only traveled 24 miles. I live and moved to a location that's within ten miles of the Goldenrod Uhaul. I only made two trips. There's no way I traveled 47 miles.
Third, they tried to charge me twice. When you turn in the truck they add any additional charges to the initial amount you already paid. For me, they did a whole new entry and they didn't refund the initial amount I paid that's supposed to be "on hold." I had to call to fix this "mistake."
DO NOT USE THE UHAUL ON GOLDENROD; YOU WILL BE SCAMMED!

When I checked in to receive the truck, I explained to the gentleman how little furniture I needed to move. He encourage me to get a 14ft truck instead of the 10ft truck. Once I got everything packed in, I had an abundance of room left. I feel as though he was trying to get as much money out of me as he possibly could.The 10ft would have had more than ample room. He also did not explain to me how much it was per mile, I had to ask specifically to find out. He was not very helpful in explaining the charges, which seem completely outrageous to me. I also had to return the truck to the same location I picked it up, which meant, roughly twice as much and gas and mileage than was necessary.
Returning the truck was rather easy and quick, but once again there was very little communication with another customer service representative. He didn't tell me what the mileage was, so I can only assume, they did not make and mistakes in charging me such a large amount. Also while returning the vehicle, another employ decided to go take a seat and throw her legs up on a table very unprofessionally behind the counter.
Overall, the customer services was okay. No one was rude and all were fairly pleasant, but lacked good communication skills.
The truck itself was also, alright for the most part, although, I'm pretty sure it has some transmission issues as it struggled to change gears at times.
The price of a U haul is COMPLETELY over priced. I will be using a different company when I move again in September. The price and lack of communication by the staff made it an unpleasant experience overall.

this rental was a wreck.dahsboard and breaks were not working properly.clerk indicates they are waiting for new trucks.I even got screw on miles because the clerk at the desk was not paying attention to what I was saying.

We reserved a 6 x 12 cargo trailer and received a 5 x 8 x 7 1/2 UBox. Not big enough for the 8 ft sofa we were picking up. We were forced to buy a tarp from UHaul in order to make sure that the sofa didn't get soaked in our truck bed, since it didn't fit in the UBox that the clerk felt I needed in lea of the one that I had reserved.

When picking up the truck I was afraid the equipment would be dirty because of the dents and scrapes on the outside but when the employee opened up the back he showed me it was actually very clean and well maintained. When I returned it, the process was quick and easy even though it was required for me to check the lights with them. All staff is great and very helpful!

I will never use U-Haul nor recomend U-Haul ever again. Its not the location I picked it up at nor where I dropped it off at it's the bull shit I went threw to try to change the location because my car is broke down on the side of the road in Eustis and I had to drop it off in Leesburg but in order for to change the location I have to pay a extra 100 dollars that I do not have. I will go some where else for now on and it will not be threw U-Haul
