When we booked the truck at that location we were clear that we were not sure how many days we would need the truck for .every night we got a message,two of them rather nasty about the return time,also when the kids were done Monday afternoon i made sure the truck was clean and they are trying to give us a cleaning bill as well as late fees.Also i couldn't find the check in chart to find out were the gas was when she picked it up and asked them if i went around 100 miles would $30-$40 get it where it was originally and was told yes,i put$45 in gas in and there was a large fuel charge,i don't mind paying for the services we used by any means but when we are told one thing and then another 3 different times and im getting a bill that is near $100 more then calculated with the attendant and us we are not happy 1 bit. i have used you guys on many occasions in the past when i had a moving company and never had this kind of service. when i called Saturday to talk to a attendant, we were treated rudely and told by the lady that she didn't take the order or check it in so i would need to talk to whoever that was, when i asked who he was she said she didn't know, i asked why she couldn't look it up and we got disconnected on.

When we filled the van up with gas before we returned it, it was obvious that the person who drove it before us had not topped off the tank to full. Was over full when we got it, was still over full before we put gas in, but we filled to full as instructed. Too bad prior customer didn't do that.

It's a total crock that anyone can use for $19.95!!! Now that you charge for miles, PLUS gas, it's totally false advertising, no matter having super small print saying that it is plus miles. We know prices have gone up, charge a little more, but don't try to pull one over on us!

I reserved an appliance dolly by telephone for the next day. The confirmation emailed to me said that I had reserved a cargo van? A pretty big difference wouldn't you say?

I am rating this location below average entirely because of the store manager. I used this location on more than 4 different occasions within a few days (only 2 of which were to rent and return a vehicle). Had it not been for the convenience of the location, I would have used a different rental location or company all together. On 2 separate instances I purchased boxes for our move. The first time, the store manager was the only customer service rep in the store, there was little (almost no) response. I patiently waited directly in front of the manager a few moments (8-15 seconds) at the counter before being acknowledged. "That's fair" I thought, "everyone has a lot on their plate and is working to catch up." However, after needing additional boxes later on, I went back to this location and experienced precisely the same interaction. Almost as if I was inconveiencing the store manager buy purchasing one of the highest margin items! (It was evident that I was working with the store manager as his name and picture were "proudly" displayed a couple feet to the left of the register on a plaque. Which explicitly stated he was "thankful" for my patronage). Ultimately, this response is intended to be constructive feedback, I trust it will be used accordingly. (Not for internal embarrassment or indignity, but course correction.) Thanks for your time, AA.

No I would not recommend this location. It is too busy. We originally had a trailer with a ramp reserved for Saturday and we waited all day and kept checking back in and we finally gave up and booked a different moving truck with a ramp for Sunday.

Even though all the information was in the computer it took almost 10 minutes to "check in" the truck. I would be nice if it was faster....like a rental car return.

The staff of three employees that helped me could not have been freindlier and more helpful. I rented a motorcycle trailer for the day and by the time the paperwork was complete one of the staffers had the trailer hooked up to my truck and operational. I was not looking forward to renting because of my past experiance at other U-Haul locations. I have had countermen at U-haul who are "know it alls" and insist on giving customers worst case scenarios and nightmare stories. Customer service and return business are not on their mind it would appear. That was NOT the case at the West Seattle location I rented from on 5/24/2013. They were great and I will be going back.

Extremely rude service from the manager, Van. I was asked for a second phone number, I said "I had no other phone", I was told I couldn't rent a truck, so I provided another family member's phone and was rudely told "I thought you didn't have another number." I said I misunderstood you and that's rude to assume, to which I was told "you are being rude by being on the phone" (when I walked into the store). I couldn't believe the store manager was calling his customer rude. I went outside and spoke with another employee who said they get that a lot about Van. I went back inside to complete my rental and Van was now sending me to the end of a 5 person line while other renters cut back to the front. UHaul should look into this store's customer service. I will be posting this review online myself everywhere.

The General Manager could give a shit about his job. Of all the staff I have had only ONE person who seemed to care about the people that are spending money there. If I was a District Manager I would strongly consider finding someone that loves what they do and replace the GM.
