Honestly, I was shocked to see how the staff treated the customers at this location. Upon exiting my car to go to the office and rent the truck, a staff member started yelling at me about parking my car in the wrong spot. Come to find out, he was talking about another car -- it wasn't even my car parked in the wrong spot! he didn't apologize. in the office, the staff were rude to each and every customer in teh store. one staff member told another staff member, "why is this lady looking at me like that?" -- in front of the customer! it was shocking.

My reservation made one month in advance for a one way 10' truck. 2 days before my reservation I get a call from a representative to tell me there is no availability. When I made my reservation one month in advance, they didn't indicate that it was based on availability. After scuttling around trying to quickly find another vehicle with other companies, decided to call and reserve a u-haul cargo van. Told them that I wasn't sure if it would be one day or two day rental. The rep on phone said no problem when I went in the next day to pick up my cargo van I told them that I would need it for 2 days, they told me "NO" that someone else had it reserved at 12:00 noon the next day and I would absolutely need to return it. We had to go through herculeon efforts to do everything I needed to do for my move to get it back the next day. My overall experience with U-haul equipment was fine, the customer service and lack of upfront clear information on what I could and could NOT expect was very poor overall. I think your representatives need some training on how to be very clear about what the customer can expect or not expect. Thanks for listening.

I would guess it is safe to say that weekends are busy times. It would be nice if more than one person is working the desk. All I saw were two employees: one at the desk and the other running around moving vehicles.
This I would like to say. On Friday 6-14-13, I came by the afternoon to reserve a truck. I was greeted by Lynda Price. She was very nice and professional. We shared a little small talk and she set me up promptly for Saturday. I could tell she enjoyed her job with U-Haul! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

The attendant was very nice, helpful , and courteous. The pickup truck I rented was in good shape and clean and was perfect for the task at hand. Booking was quick and easy. I had absolutely no problems.

Lynda, the manager, was great. She was very friendly and helpful. She handled the paperwork of my rental very quickly and I was able to be in and out without too much delay.
When I returned the vehicle, the computer system modified my rental setting to make it a little less expensive because of the high number of miles I had to drive overnight and I was very appreciative of that. It's a nice gesture when so often companies keep you on the wrong plan in order to squeeze out a few more dollars. I left even happier because of the small savings I got by going to the commercial rate. Thanks.

Check-in: really slow and did not utilize the online express checkout. Multiple customers were also very annoyed. Associate did recommend good dust covers
during: phone support was polite and extended my reservation
Return: super quick! good experience. good job

This location is understaffed. Only one person manning the counter on a weekend?
Also, I got charged per the mile, but had to drive 20 miles roundtrip further than the location closest to me due to unavailability of a 10' truck.

There were homeless people outside the location asking for money from customers. Also, the computer system was down at the time, but the staff was friendly.

I reserved a truck through the on-line system for a full day, only to find a long line to get a truck. After waiting over a half hour to get the truck, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled because I had not arrived on time. - even though I had been waiting in line during the appointed hour. The staff insisted that I had waited in line for onoy ten minutes. After arguing with the staff and having others waiting in line that they too had waited for for over 1/2 hour did the staff reinstate my reservation - not for a full day, but 6 hours. Another argument ensued. I was then asked for information, like the address I was moving to, the number of miles, and a second telephone number that could have easily been captured on the on-line system. When I returned the truck and waited at the designated area, no one was around. Finally, after tracking an attendant down, he said they were too busy to check me out, so leave the keys in the truck and they would send me confirmation of the final costs. I reluctantly did so, but worried that someone could steal or damage the truck and I would be responsible. U-Haul has a lot to learn about customer service, an effective on-line reservation system, and workload scheduling.

The customer service was really poor and the representatives had negative attitudes. Just train them well and I think it should start with the general manager.

They charged us for more gas that the truck needed on the 1st bill and we received the day after a second bill with a charge for 2 days and 98miles instead of the 17 miles that we did (152$).
The person in charge totally messed up with our contract but never wanted to admit that they made a mistake. We are now filling a dispute to have this settled.
We will never come back to this rental office and we will let people around us know about this problem.
