The blankets i received were wet, smellef of mold and were covered in fleas
I was handed a shovel to clean the ice and snow out of trailer bed prior to pick up. Seems to me that if I was a U-Haul rental agent I'd have it out of the snow bank..cleaned of ice and snow out of the bed, and ready for customer pick up!!!
It was fine. The place could you an update. It's old and dark. The service was good.
I asked the guy if I could drop my truck off at the uhaul down the street from where I was moving to, and he told me no. My husband called and asked the same question the next day and he was told that if I wanted to drop the truck off in a different location, I needed to tell him when I picked the truck up. That is what I did. So I had to pay more gas and extra mileage. Not at all happy about this. He said that he had to have a truck there at all times. Well when I returned the truck, there was another truck there.....which he admitted he knew was going to be dropped off. Will never use uhaul again.
No negative comments at all. Clerk behind counter was busy when I came to check on the vehicle but that's good news in these times.
I had this truck reserved for 10am and when I called to make sure so there were no issues: they at first said no vehicle for you and so called Uhaul back 2x because I got nervous and then went down there personally to make sure and it was there and when I came back it was another huge issue and didn't get out until 12:45 and almost missed my Ferry out of Bridgeport because he had to call someone and said this says xyz but I had no idea what he was talking about..I was supposed to be charged $108 for 200 miles then for extra be charged!!! However I did take the $14 to protect myself for Ins purposes!! The side passenger door was crushed and I video'ed just incase bc the way I was already treated!! Now my bill was charged almost $400???? I have a case # 512987 w/customer service for my surprise bill!! I'm in customer service myself and wouldn't ever treat people like this!!! Besides waiting on customer's while I was first and waiting patiently and time was running out for me to get to the Ferry safely!!!! and on time!!!! I'm not impressed at all and wouldn't recommend Uhaul to use them by the way I was treated, someone made a mistake and it wasn't me:-(
