It was horrible experience, there was rat feces all over our stuff and we had to throw out the majority of it and we told the managers there and they have done nothing. They also opened up a new contract without my knowledge and is now refusing to pay us back.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkIt was horrible experience, there was rat feces all over our stuff and we had to throw out the majority of it and we told the managers there and they have done nothing. They also opened up a new contract without my knowledge and is now refusing to pay us back.
Sarah-Nadira S | ReservationWhen I got there there was not actually a unit available in their system. So I was not able to get a unit. I called during the staff's lunch break and got the operator. They do not have the same information as the staff in the office about what is available. I was very unsatisfied and had left a positive review before I went in. The staff at the storage facility were very nice and it was not their fault.
Andrea M | ReservationRodent control, Interior lighting and power should be offered for a fee.
GARY T | Overall ExperienceWe moved out on a weekend, and staff noted the empty storage and immediately processed the account closed and send final receipt. It was appreciated that no contact from us was necessary. Thank you.
Elizabeth T | Overall ExperienceThe building is showing its age and could really use some updates.
Stephan P | Overall ExperienceAs a customer of Lucinda Self Storage for over two years, my experience with their service at 290 Margaret Street in Plattsburgh, NY, has been profoundly disappointing and frustrating. I was taken aback when I observed staff members physically opening my storage unit while I was inside cleaning, an action that displayed a flagrant, audacious, and egregious disregard for my privacy. Furthermore, I faced unjust accusations from the staff alleging that I was sleeping in my storage unit, fully aware that such behavior violates the terms and conditions of my lease. This unprofessional conduct culminated in the termination of my lease based on baseless allegations that had no merit. Additionally, I became aware that my storage unit was accessed on multiple occasions without proper authorization or legitimate cause. Such disturbing disregard for my privacy and security is utterly unacceptable. Consequently, I cannot, in good faith, recommend Lucinda Self Storage to anyone seeking a reliable and trustworthy solution for their belongings.
Alexander B | Overall ExperienceThe staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and exactly what I needed. If I have a need for storage in the future I would definitely go back.
John B | Overall ExperienceGreat service made the experience go smoothly. Thank you!
Liliana F | ReservationMy only concern was that a lot of dirt/sand got in the unit where I had a very clean car stored. It was always covered with sand when I went back to it. Kinda like the door wasn’t sealed and the wind blew in loose dirt
Tracy M | Overall ExperienceWhy I didn't use your facility sooner is a mystery to me. Climate controlled easy access in/out could not have been a better experience. Office staff were so nice refreshing to work with. Keep up the good job.
RICHARD M | Overall ExperienceVery clean. Move in and out was so easy- highly recommend
Danielle G | Overall ExperienceStorage unit was overall in good condition; however, there is a needle in the back of the unit.
Sarah G | ReservationShortly after making the reservation, I was notified that it was cancelled. I reached out to U haul, and was told this facility had closed. I did not move in, had to go to another facility.
Roslyn R | ReservationThe building smelled of strongly of mold and I chose not to utilize this storage location for that reason.
Denise T | Overall ExperiencePerfect place to store my Miata for the winter
Jeff E | Overall ExperienceThe Owner/operator of Lucenda Self Storage was incredibly helpful during move-in as the Uhaul site that I reserved the Climate Controlled storage unit from had false information (1st floor interior access from outside) as the room was interior only access and in the basement. She came to the storage facility on a Saturday and stayed the entire time as she needed to operate the lift to get items to basement level. She do so without complaint and was very helpful / professional with the whole process. Thank you!
ANNIE J | ReservationThanks so much for the safe, secure and nice facility. The people that work there were just wonderful.
Janice P | Overall ExperienceIt was two junkies living there with a dog. Hard to get in contact with Management. Poor service from owner.
Avery S | Overall ExperienceMy furniture has been there for 3 years. Yesterday the movers took it out and all the pieces had a light dusting of mold. Since I am allergic to mold this a huge problem for me. They have some serious water issues there. Would not recommend using this place.
Cheryl B | Overall ExperienceThanks for secure storage for many years!
Mary E | Overall ExperienceHelpful and efficient.
