The Owner/operator of Lucenda Self Storage was incredibly helpful during move-in as the Uhaul site that I reserved the Climate Controlled storage unit from had false information (1st floor interior access from outside) as the room was interior only access and in the basement. She came to the storage facility on a Saturday and stayed the entire time as she needed to operate the lift to get items to basement level. She do so without complaint and was very helpful / professional with the whole process. Thank you!

It was two junkies living there with a dog. Hard to get in contact with Management. Poor service from owner.

My furniture has been there for 3 years. Yesterday the movers took it out and all the pieces had a light dusting of mold. Since I am allergic to mold this a huge problem for me. They have some serious water issues there. Would not recommend using this place.

A very nice facility that is well maintained and kept very clean. They provide carts for you to use if you have an indoor unit and there are garage doors you can open and close to get to your car easily. I had a hard time getting in contact with the staff via phone/in their office but they respond to emails relatively quickly so if you need something be sure to try that first.

The lady at the desk was very helpful from move in to move out. Very polite professional and courteous. Great experience will definitely use again if need be and I will definitely be telling my friends looking for storage.

The only issue we had was our unit wasn't well lit. The motion light only stayed on for less than a minute making it difficult to see. we would have to keep walking over to the sensor to get light.

Everything was simple and easy. The carts that were available were extremely helpful. The only issue we had was gaining access through the main door. The door is really hard to open and have you to push so hard to open it. The first time we went I thought we had the incorrect code. Fortunately there was someone there and I was able to call and they came and opened the door and explained that you have to forcefully shove it open

The storage unit was a flight downstairs in the basement. I had to travel down many long narrow hallways to get to the narrow door way. I never ended up using this storage unit (10x10) because it wouldn't even fit my couch through the door. I tried to call the manager to get a different unit, left a voicemail and no response. Never even called me back. Waste of money and time. Would not recommend this business.

Barb was a saint as she worked with me and helped me out so much. She was so sweet and was easy to get in touch with and despite having an issue with the place in the beginning she accommodated me very well and I appreciated that so much and fixed the problem almost immediately and I couldn't have been more grateful.

I live in Florida and my son attends SUNY PLATTSBURGH. I used this storage place to store his stuff for summer break. The staff are so friendly and made this process very simple. I will definitely be using them again.

I had a real.problem in the beginning. On the front of the Margaret.st, Plattsburgh unit. The sign on the front door stated that this unit never has a person there . I had to call a number to get help....the girl was very nice and helpful. We assumed that no one was there to help us us the elevator. So we lugged furniture Dow to the second floor...a real difficult task for this 73 year old.

They raised their rates by 40 dollars during a pandemic and I lost my job for awhile last year. Everything else was great but no I will not recommend to a friend.
