Upon returning the trailer to the location in Santa Barbara, it was very crowded. I was even blocked in for over 20 minutes after having my trailer unhooked. When the gentleman unhooked my trailer, he asked if I wanted to avoid the long line inside by just having a receipt emailed to me. I said, yes, that would be nice. Two days later, I got a call from a service rep asking me when I planned to return the trailer. I said that I already had. I was upset this was not properly handled, but relieved I was not contacted again regarding an internal issue. Again, not happy.

It would be helpful to give the customer a quick walk through for the basic operation of the truck. I still couldn't find a way to adjust the mirrors (Maybe they are fixed)

I recently rented a Uhaul truck, and before I left the Uhaul facility I noted to the attendant that the odometer was incorrectly measuring kilometers instead of miles. She was unable to figure out how to change the odometer to read in miles, so we took the mileage allotment of 153 miles, and figured out that this converts to approximately 246 kilometers. The attendant noted this on the contract, and said that this would not be a problem, as long as I stay in the range of 246 kilometers. When I rented the vehicle, the odometer read 35,089.5 kilometers. When I returned the vehicle, the odometer read 35,328.4. Thus, I only used 238.9 kilometers, which is below the 246 kilometer allotment that I was given. However, the Uhaul return location did not recognize that the odometer was in Kilometers, even though the rental contract made note of this, and they charged me for additional miles. I was very careful to stay within the allotted driving range, and do not appreciate being charged an extra $35.17 for a mistake that was made by Uhaul, and expect a prompt reimbursement for the incorrect charge.

THEY MADE A TYPO WITH MY MILEAGE AND WHEN I LET THE MANAGER KNOW, SHE FIXED IT WITHIN MINUTES. GRANTED I HAD TO GO BACK THERE IN PERSON, YET SHE WAS COURTEOUS AND EFFICIENT. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

The manager on duty when I returned the truck was awful. I picked the truck up with 5/8 of a tank, and returned it with same. Manager decided it was between 5/8 and 3/4 (also known as 1/16) and proceeded to charge me an extra $10. You've lost me as a customer as a result.

The process was pretty seamless, except on the return, they only had one guy on duty checking in trucks. I would recommend having at least 2 check-in people, especially on busy weekends.

Wait time both on phone and in store unacceptably long. Returned two bags of unused blankets on day of rental pick up. Was not credited for rental cost. Requested return at Folsom, paperwork showed El Dorado Hills. Rep unable to change but got a hand written address for Folsom return. Return site billed me for the two bags of blankets! Was able to resolve issue after long wait on phone with U-Haul customer service.

I had a reservation to pick up a vehicle at 9:30 AM. When I arrived there were at least five people ahead of me and only one check-in person available. Finally, a second person arrived some time later but it would have been better to have more check-in people available.

I was asked to wait 20 minutes for 2 customers to be helped before they asked me to step out of line and pull my car around for inspection. I was then asked to wait in the same line again for 20 minutes, this time behind 2 new customers. When it was my turn to step up to the counter they completed my paperwork for a trailer rental. I had previously filled out all of the same information using their online form for expedited service at the counter...what a joke...their website does not even feed the data to the counter as it advertises it will. The time I lost waiting in line and the pain and frustration I felt as a customer picking up a simple $14.95 trailer rental was too much. I won't be back. Their system is completely broken and they don't seem to care enough to fix it. This was my 3rd and final rental from Uhaul. Good luck UHaul...the world is accelerating away from your archaic processes!
