No room for improvement. My experience was excellent, i received a service above and beyond 'customer service'. Nice staff, courties, polite, and professional :)

First we went to 4101 State Street where they wouldn't let me return our trailer. There was no signage and they laughed at our predicament. We will be giving them a bad rating on the internet - it was an awful experience. The Hollister location was better (it wasn't awful) but it was far from good. Both locations left us with a bad experience. This was completely contrary to the U-Haul folks in Paso Robles (and Atascadero) who we spoke with and then rented from - they were terrific.

From a twenty dollar screechy P.O.S. with loose unusable side mirrors, and still only driving 15 miles. Ended up paying three times more then what Was estimated even after filling the gas. Never using u haul again, with the money I wasted could have bought enough ropes to turn any car into a similar death trap.

Tell the grumpy man in the yard he should change his attitude toward customers.

Drove 17 miles and had to pay $26.50 for gas because the gauge was misread. Employee was too dense to understand that 3 mpg was impossible to do. When I was picking the truck up, they were trying to overcharge the customer in front of me as well. I won't be going back!

Anne was wonderful, and thank you Arturo, for taking the time to make sure the truck was cleaned properly. I appreciate the team going out of their way to make sure we had a great experience.

try attaching my trailor up properly so that when I roll my car on to it, it does not un-attach and destroy my truck tail-gate like it did, way to go uhual

I didn't get her name, but the gal working the counter was excellent. She was great at multi-tasking, personable, patient, and knowledgeable. An asset to the company-I hope you take care of her. I have been in the customer service industry for 38 yrs, and know what it takes, and she is great!

I spoke to the "owner" Abel. My original email, which is what I confirmed and wanted, stated, "drop off truck and trailer at a uhaul location in Goleta, Ca". I was notified at roughly 12:40 to change that location to Ojai, Ca. I am moving from LA to Goleta and Ojai is over an hour in the opposite direction. I thought this was very unprofessional of uhaul in the first place. I now live in goleta. I wondered how would I have gotten back from Ojai. So me and family drop it off at a uhaul that is considered to be located in SB. Abel said they couldn't take any more trucks. The other location in goleta wouldn't take us either. I understand where Abel was coming from but he wasn't trying other options. He just said, "you can't leave it here...I don't know what to tell you." I wanted Abel, "the owner" to try. We as customers don't know what the employee can do in those situations, only they do. Later my brother suggested to call someone above him, which was hard being that not many upper management employees work on weekends. We spoke to another lady, Angela I think. After a few phone calls back and forth and explaining everything I've gone through to move to Goleta, she told Abel to accept the truck and trailer at his location.

All the staff was pretty grumpy. No big deal but quite noticable in comparison to other business that interact everyday with the public./consumers. Service was efficient and they moved me through quickly which I like.
