Anne was wonderful, and thank you Arturo, for taking the time to make sure the truck was cleaned properly. I appreciate the team going out of their way to make sure we had a great experience.

try attaching my trailor up properly so that when I roll my car on to it, it does not un-attach and destroy my truck tail-gate like it did, way to go uhual

I didn't get her name, but the gal working the counter was excellent. She was great at multi-tasking, personable, patient, and knowledgeable. An asset to the company-I hope you take care of her. I have been in the customer service industry for 38 yrs, and know what it takes, and she is great!

I spoke to the "owner" Abel. My original email, which is what I confirmed and wanted, stated, "drop off truck and trailer at a uhaul location in Goleta, Ca". I was notified at roughly 12:40 to change that location to Ojai, Ca. I am moving from LA to Goleta and Ojai is over an hour in the opposite direction. I thought this was very unprofessional of uhaul in the first place. I now live in goleta. I wondered how would I have gotten back from Ojai. So me and family drop it off at a uhaul that is considered to be located in SB. Abel said they couldn't take any more trucks. The other location in goleta wouldn't take us either. I understand where Abel was coming from but he wasn't trying other options. He just said, "you can't leave it here...I don't know what to tell you." I wanted Abel, "the owner" to try. We as customers don't know what the employee can do in those situations, only they do. Later my brother suggested to call someone above him, which was hard being that not many upper management employees work on weekends. We spoke to another lady, Angela I think. After a few phone calls back and forth and explaining everything I've gone through to move to Goleta, she told Abel to accept the truck and trailer at his location.

All the staff was pretty grumpy. No big deal but quite noticable in comparison to other business that interact everyday with the public./consumers. Service was efficient and they moved me through quickly which I like.

I told them about the defective equipment i rented from the other uhaul place, they didn't seem to care what I was saying, kind of rude.

There were 7-9 people there with one counter clerk. that is ridiculous so they get grumpy and agitated. The truck 3 out of 5 times has smelled like cigarettes. this is like the only real game in town and it used to be much better. When you see a new scratch on the truck and find someone to show it to, they say "well it should be ok cause it's sort of under this x", that doesn't make you feel confident, but they are so busy and it's impossible to wait. each person is nice, just too over worked. The tie to wait even when you booked pre advanced is really ridiculous! The trucks are often dusty.

I rented a small van from U-Haul of Santa Barbara, CA on 4417 Hollister, on 8/13/2014. Your policy of renting vehicles with 7/8 of a tank of fuel is selfserving. Its very difficult to fill a vehicle to this same level, time consuming to say the least, and no doubt results in many people returning vehicles "full". This is free fuel to your company, which you no doubt use for your own purposes until the tank reads 7/8 again. Of course it's not illegal, just another way to take advantage of your customers. The person who waited on me and my son was unamicable almost to the point of rudeness. My son's description of the man's attitude was less charitable. The vehicle ran well, but I am sure I won't rent from your company again. No customer should ever feel as if the uhaul staff preferred that they never walked in the door. In all sincereity, Jon Clow, Solvang CA

I was instructed to drop the trailer off at 5720 Hollister Ave in Goleta. When we got there, the owner of the facility basically kicked us out of his lot and almost cost an accident. Re refused to leave, so he reluctantly gave us the 818-988-7008 number to call. He would not even let us call from his phone.
