It was very difficult to take the trailer off my hitch at night in your lot (which is on a hill). Couldn't find a block for the trailer neck... I am a tiny woman and suffered getting it off my car

This is the second time in a year that I've gotten a 26 foot truck from this location, and they have seen better days. This may be the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for. The suspension and transmission in both trucks I've had are so bad that coming to a complete stop, the transmission shakes so bad that I feel like any glass in the back must be shattered now, and the suspension is so shot that driving over the painted lane markers look make the whole truck do a bunny hop. You get what you pay for. I'll take my money elsewhere next time.

One of the tire hold down straps on the car dolly that I rented was frayed and difficult to start in the ratcheting mechanism. It could use to be replaced with a new one.

THIS location was NOT where I reserved my trailer - was bribed with an upgrade to mitigate the anger and frustration of having to travel further in rush hour traffic, and having to load in a DOWNPOUR as a result of that delay - as the trailer we reserved was requiring wiring repairs, but no one knew until we tried to check it out - the bribe was only partially successful...

Service members that have served/serving in the arm forces should qualify for 10-15% discount... Special promotional online discounts (10%) should be available to the public for distance travel packages purchased or on their next visit. Overall, the the customer service provided was above average!!

I made a reservation 1 week before, for pick up at place A. Got a confirmation call 1 day before actual pick up by place B. Asked that person from place A that I made a reservation for pick up at place A, so why is placeB calling me? Asked if pick up is at place A? She said "yes". Went to place A for pick up and after waiting 20 minutes was told that truck was on place B. Wth. I place a reservation for pick up at place A and was told to pick up at place B!! I was angry!!! My ride dropped me off and didn't have anyone to take me to place B. A uhaul employee offered and took me to place B. Didn't even get a dolly free of charge. Nothing. Next time I move, I won't use this company anymore. Last year I place a reservation for a 17 footer at that same place and was told they didn't have a 17 footer, but I can get a 14 footer instead. Even though both truck were the same price, I had to make 2 trips to move.

I had no problems other than I am unsatisfied with the fact I had to borrow a vehicle because Ford Explorers are not able to tow. This upsets me because you do not exclude the Mountaineer, Navajo or Aviator from towing. I can say you have lost a lot of business from me as well as others because of this. Other than that I had no issues with my rental

While I had truck it died out 3 times at a street lights told the service rep when I returned the truck and asked if I would get discount for the problem they said no because I didn't call road service . Plus the manager didn't even come out to talk to me !!

There were 4 people standing around while one individual attempted to complete a contract for a storage space. The 4 seemed to know what to do but the individual actually writing the contract did not know. I had to ask the others to intervene as it was wasting my time.

After picking up my truck with a quarter tank of gas in it. I drove out to my drop point when the fuel light came on. I pumped $20 in gas as a returned. Above arriving at the nearest gas station back by the Uhaul location I was dropping the truck off at, I pumped another $22 in gas leaving the gage exactly where it was when I picked up the truck. The next day I was charged a $30 service fee plus an additional $18 fuel charge on my debit card causing my checking acct to go negative. When I called The Uhaul location, they claimed that I didn't leave the gas gage exactly where it was at and had to pump an additional $18 in fuel. I think maybe the punks that work there are pumping gas in their own cars, and charging the customers that are dropping their trucks after hours. I personally want to punch the kid in his face. If I was a younger man, I might go back and slash all your trucks tires too. How do you like them cookies.

I mentioned I was going to be using the truck for more than a 24 hour period when reserving the truck. I was told it wouldn't be a problem, and I assumed that I would be paying for a second day. After the initial 24 hour period passed I received a call from someone at the shop frantically calling saying that the truck was to be returned already! I explained that when reserving the truck I had mentioned about keeping it longer and the guys immediate response was "well you will be charged a late fee still!" As mentioned earlier I assumed I was paying for 2 days. Poor customer service skills and clearly poor communication internally.

When I arrived to pickup the trailer the running lights were not working properly. The attendant nd I tried connecting to other trilers but the problem persisted. There was no mechanic on duty to look into the problem. I crawled on the ground and had to play with the electrical connection until I was able to have lights. The attendant asked if iI wanted to take the trailer even if running lights were not working. I said no due to the traffic and safety issue that would create. Obviously that employee needs to be informed that his job is to assist and make sure trailers are installed in a safe manner. The very thought that he would suggest I leave there with out all lights working properly is a serious problem which should be addressed. Instead of trying to get rid of me he should have done everything to assist in the resolution of the problem. It ultimately worked out but that was because I was not going to travel without all the lights working properly. I hope for the safety of all you educate this employee on the responsibilities of his job.

I was not informed I was being charged $14.00 for the a tab being broken off a dolly. I informed the sales rep that I didn't use the dolly and that if I did I wouldn't have a problem paying for it. The dolly should be held down with something more sturdy than a plastic zip tie. The sales rep told me that people are always saying that and trying to get over on them. How about choosing a more secure method to hold the dolly in place if multiple customers are telling you the same thing. I informed him I was not happy with this charge he said he was not refunding it and if I wanted to call customer service that was fine then he hung up. I will say the customer service rep was professional unlike the sales rep at the store in Alsip.

The trailer provided had an annoying vibration between 25-32mph. Tire maint. and balancing should be a regular check on rental trailers. My motorcycle was bouncing around when I was traveling through town and frustrating me.
