This location is simply phenomenal! The staff is friendly and professional. The service is extremely fast! The equipment is clean and ready when you are. I highly recommend this location to anyone in need of a moving truck or van.

The truck was clean and the service personnel were reasonably efficient and professional, but not all previous damage was marked with stickers until I pointed it out and the left turn signal was not working. Also, when I arrived, the two personnel continued to perform cleaning duties in a side room and left me waiting for about five minutes before they even acknowledged my presence...after that they were good and professional, but when you see a customer enter the office, you should drop all cleaning activities and immediately acknowledge and serve the customer. But overall they were not bad. HQ needs to establish better customer service protocols.

CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXTREAMLY POOR FINAL RENTAL PRICE WAS MUCH MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL PRICE QUOTED BY THE COMPUTER SYSTEM. CALLED LOCATE OFFICE TO TELL THEM THAT I LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA, AND MY DAUGHTER WOULD PICK UP THE TRAILER IN MARYLAND. THEY SAID THAT I WOULD NEED TO PAY FOR THE RENTAL IN ADVANCE, WHICH WAS FINE. WHEN CAN IN TO PICK UP THE TRAILER, THEY WOULD NOT PROCESS MY CARD, I HAD TO GO TO THE BANK AND PUT THE MONEY IN HER ACCOUNT TO PAY THE RENTAL YOU COULDN'T GET ANY OF ATTENDENTS TO GIVE YOU THE CORRECT PROCEEDURE. ALSO I RENTED (2) 4x5 TRAILERS FROM U-HAUL, ONE IN NC WITH DROP OFF IN WV FOR $ 110.00 AND THE OTHER TRAILER IN MD, DROP OFF IN MONTGOMERY, AL COST $ 359.00. AFTER CALLING THE 1 (800) U-HAUL NUMBER, COULDN'T GET ANY TO EXPLAINE TO ME WHY THE TRAILER COST FROM MD TO AL WAS 3 TIMES THE PRICE!!! WILL I EVER RENT ANY EQUIPTMENT FROM U-HAUL AGAIN!!! NOT A HAPPY RENTER!!! RYDER WILL GET MY TRAILER RENTAL BUSINESS THE NAEX TIME!!!

Great location but very busy!!! Had a hard time pulling onto lot and then my deer and headlight look with the trailer nearly sticking out onto the road was not enough to get anyone's attention. Those 2 employees were working so hard to attend to all the patrons that I was left to navigate the culture of the parking lot alone. Once I got the attention of someone checking in the rental was a breeze.

My original reservation was placed at the UHaul location closest to my work, located on 2929 Washington Blvd. I reserved a car trailer two days before I needed to pick it up. When I arrived to pick up the trailer on Washington Blvd., they told me that one trailer had already been taken off the lot and the second one had a flat tire and that a service guy would be coming out to replace it in a few days. I was amazed at this situation considering that this was the biggest uhaul location I had ever been to, including a large fleet of trucks and two repair garages. Plus, my reservation practically meant nothing because I was never notified that the trailer would not be available. I was then told that there was one available on Rt. 40. I headed over to the new location and hit traffic on 695 so the trip ended up taking me twice as long as it should have, not to mention I was driving a gas guzzling truck in order to haul the trailer. I was able to get the trailer I needed at the Rt. 40 location and everything worked out after that. Overall I'm tired of dealing with Uhaul services and more than likely will never use them again.

The customer service attendant was very rude. I stood in line for 45mins which was past me reservation time. They were low staffed and the rules for payment are rediculous. I will not use uhaul again, because this is my 2nd bad experience at the same location.

Need at least some lighting at night to allow for safe drop-off after hours. This was a new area for me, and mso we had to drive by several times without seeing. (We finally had to call Customer Service for help finding it.) The parking lot was dark. The building was dark. I had trouble finding the locaion for the after-hour key drop-off. Need better training for employees. The employees in Catonsville who checked me in and also who returned my phone calls did not seem to know what they were doing. They refused to help and even refused to take a message to give to someone who could help. They said I had to call back. Whenever I called back, the local store never answered and I was automatically transferred to a Customer Service line with folks who were unable to correct the open contract/bill. The drop-off location made several ridiculous errors at check-in and tried to bill a large amount as "extra" charge to my credit card. (They claimed I used an extra day, even though I turned in truck well before the 24-hour limit. They claimed I drove extra miles, even though my mileage was well below the additional free mileage allowance they gave me for switching the pick-up location to a place farther away for me, and also claimed I did not leave the tank full of gas, although I left it with MORE gas then when I picked up the truck as shown on my contract.) Even after multiple phone calls the local place in Catonsville refused to correct the obvious check-in mistakes until the Regional office finally agreed to step in and get them to fix it. (The employee I spoke to in Catonsville, MD was very rude and refused to even take a message to have the Manager call me back once she agreed errors were made, since they never seem to answer their phone whenever I called during normal business hours and had to wait along time for a call-back...but the person calling always said there was nothing she could or would do!) They need to staff the office with at least one person who knows what is going on during all normal business hours! This as left me with a very bad impression of U-Haul, although I have good experience with U-Haul at other locations in the past. I am considering changing my upcoming reservation for Aug. 30, 2014 to another truck rental company if this is what I can expect from U-Haul in the future.

I made two reservations- the first at the Owings Mills location. When they did not have my truck at that location, they booked me another one at the Liberty Road location (Baltimore County). Within 10 minutes they told me "the truck left" and I needed to go to the Catonsville location- which was well out of my way, a huge inconvenience, and made me late to my dinner meeting with a client in NYC. This was very unprofessional and delayed my trip by 1.5 hours.

I returned my vehicle at 2:40 pm and then I have to wait more than 1 hr to get my receipt. There was only one person in front of me. I asked for hard copy but told they can't provide hard copy only e-mail receipt ???
