Great service, however I made a reservation online with uhaul and ordered an appliance dolly with my equipment, the associate that checked me out assured me it was already in the back of the truck but when I opened the truck to load it there was no dolly.

I reserved a truck for 1:15pm and arrived at 1pm. Upon arrival there were no associates in the front desk area for over 10 minutes. When dropping the truck off the situation was similar. A sign says wait near the vehicle and an associate will help you, but after 10 minutes of waiting I had to go into the showroom and flag someone down. It appears there are cameras that monitor the showroom, but is there anyone really watching the cameras for customers?

My UHaul 14' truck was stolen in Federal Way, WA. I still have the keys. UHaul has insurance to cover their loss, but the cargo is not covered. UHaul collects their fee, is covered on the truck loss, and all I've got to show for it is a key to a stolen truck. Shame on you UHaul. In hind sight, my wife Googled UHaul, theft. Seattle, my destination, was the top site. It seems that having a UHaul truck or trailer stolen is commonplace. I think UHaul should be held as pecuniarily liable for not warning customers and not providing some helpful hints on protecting your load. So, bottom line, UHaul loses nothing and I lose everything...except the key of course

Send vehicles out with either a half tank or full tank and require customers to return it the same. My cargo van's fuel gauge was between the 3/8 and 1/2 tank mark that caused unnecessary inconvenience in making sure that I filled it up just right without going under or over. Otherwise, my customer experience was excellent--very friendly and efficient service, and my cargo van was practically brand new and clean. Thank you, I'll definitely rent from this location again and recommend to others.

The employees at this location went above and beyond this time. I needed a 6x12 trailer to move some items for my business at the last minute. I was driving from Bellevue to Spanaway in my car to get my Suburban to tow the trailer. There was hideous traffic and it took 4 hours to make the trip from Bellevue to Spanaway and back to Federal Way for the trailer. The uhaul store closed at 7 pm. I did not arrive until 7::45 pm at uhaul. They were still waiting for me. On the phone on the way there the guy said "don't worry sir, we will make it work, keep on coming in". Excellent customer service.

When I arrived to pick up my truck, they actually had it! The last TWO times I used U-Haul (Lakewood), they didn't and the employees were so rude it blew my mind. The people at this location were great -- and they had my truck!!

The truck was a pieces of crap and I was surprised it made it in my move. If I was moving more then the 20 miles, I would have refused it . I thought the transmission was going to exploded with how hard it was shifting. The return guy was cool but the pick up guy was a little wierd.

UHAUL has excellent sales people. They want your business and money. I asked for a certain day and time to pick up the truck. I called in on the day I needed it and asked if I could pick it up early. They said no. There were non available until my pick up time. I asked if mine was not available at pick up time could I get a larger one. They said not to second guess them and made what I thought was a very rude remark about 1000 possible things that could change. Poor customer service as far as I was concerned. I went an hour early and they had all kinds of trucks but never did call me so that I could have started earlier as they promised. Poor business practice. The truck was dependable but not great. I rented a 17 ft. and it got 6 miles to the gallon on fuel. They asked if I wanted their $14 insurance. I said I had insurance. They caution me, or tried to intimidate that if there were any damage I would have to pay them immediately and they would not deal with my insurance company. I declined. The truck ran O.K. and it was clean. Most of the major damage areas were marked with X's. I declined the pads and hand truck. They have them in the truck but are tie wrapped and if you use them they charge you a FEE. They were actually in the way. The price was right and the check out went well when I returned it. I have a smart phone and took pictures of the fuel gauge and mileage so there would no questions on return. I think I will go with Penske next time. They were a little bit higher but more professional.

The attendant miss marked the fuel mileage on the contract. My driver missed it. We put 5 miles on the vehicle, cosy me $40.00 in fuel. Because the attendant didn't mark it accurately.

It would be nice to have a cable system of some sort - or cable adapter cranking system - that could be rented or added too the auto transport trailer to aid in loading vehicles that do not run. That is my primary complaint with this trailer.

Our reaction to an initial staff person was not positive. When a customer has a "guaranteed" reservation and the vehicle reserved is not available stating to the customer that "There is not much we can do for them" does not put the customer in the best mood, especially when planning a long move. Kristen stepped in, found a vehicle at another location and the first thing she said to us was "I'm sorry". Subsequently Jarod was courteous, prompt as well as helpful when we returned to pick up the auto transport. It was good to see that the location had good employees with good customer service skills.
