I have had HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this location
several times past: ambivalent staff, poor condition
equipment, long waits.
This was a very pleasant and happy surprise.

All of the staff was exceptional. However the internet was down for a long long time. The staff was very concernd about the long linesd and downtime. I felt very sorry for them, they were all very apologetic. My delay time was over 30 minutes andf I had made reservations two days before.

Not sure, but Henry was very helpful in resolving a trailer electrical connection problem. He went out of his way & patient with us. Great job!

The rental was good. The 'technology' crashed, which took lots of time. Where I had reserved my trailer (No. Blackstone, between Bullard and Sierra) was not where my reservation was confirmed...costing me frustration, and your guarantee (rented a 5'x8') was not good and had to pay for a 5'x9'. Help was good, however my bumper on my 8 month old Toyota Van was scratched when the attendant hooked up my trailer. He didn't say anything, and I was a little ticked off...because you make such a big fuss about insurance, costs, scratches on your stuff. May not use UHaul again...

The truck itself was pretty clean but hey it only had 730 miles on it so how much can a new truck get dirty right?Well the windshield and basically the whole front end of the truck being plastered with bugs would be a good way,enough in fact to the point to where the first thing i did was go to a gas station so i could see the road clearly and not through bug splatt.Oh yea one more thing,i picked the truck up with a 1/4 of a tank of gas and returned it with a half a tank which when it comes down to dollars and sense i lost about 20-25 bucks in petrol that i didn't use.It wouldn't hurt you guys at all to compensate your customers some how when that happens and i have an idea on how.The next time a customer rents from you like me for instance in my case you would credit me or show the next rental if it had a half tank at pickup you would show on the paperwork three quarters of a tank that way it evens out for the customer.But let's say like me for instance last week i rented a pickup and now this weekend i'm renting a 17 footer.well since there's a difference in the tank size i would only get credit for a eighth of a tank and not a quarter unless i was renting a pickup again then i'd the quarter tank credit.Just a thought,i know i'm not the only one that planned on doing more driving and didn't and i'd say that it's very possible and probable your customer satisfaction rating would just go up but the number of returning customers you'd have for life would most likely do nothing but go up as well.It would also look better in the cunsumers eyes when comparing uhaul and another rental business and taking business away from the competition is what it's all about isn't it?Like i said just a thought.

The 2 dollies were on a separate contract and they did not do the paperwork right and I was contacted by U-Haul they I didn't turn them in but I did and they were in the back of the truck

I would not recommend UHAUL to anyone! The trailer we rented from Fresno blew a tire 30 minutes out of town. We were stranded on Hwy 99 for over 3 hours and could NOT get any roadside assistance from anyone - after MANY CALLS!!! We finally abandoned the trailer and drove to Merced to get another one. We were unable to get the same trailer - so got a different model. That caused us to drive an extra trip back to Fresno to accomplish our needs for the trailer over the weekend. The extra cost for gas - the loss of the time to get to our destination initially was a problem for the whole weekend! I will never use a UHAUL rental again.

The truck was the only real issue, it looked like it had seen better days. Its gas and oil meter were moving back and forth and the driver window went down but wouldn't go back up. Safely issues might come about with that truck not working in an orderly manner, but other wise everything was okay and got the job done.

i was the first one schedule in the morning to install a hitch for my dodge truck. (8am)> i was told it will be done in a hour in a half. my wife and went to eat and return and my truck was still in the same spot when i drop it off. i talked to them and they tell me they are backed up on installing hitch. i told them how can that be if am the 1st one schedule for the day. so far i seen two trucks being worked on before mind. they told me give them a hour and we will call you. we went home and i got a call from Uhaul. they told me i was late on picking up my trailer. i told them soon as you finish installing my hitch I'll be happy to pick up my trailer. then i ask her is my truck done? she told me they just finish it. my wife and i rush to uhaul. and my truck was still in the same parking spot. i talked to the mananger. he was sorry and they put me on the rack to get the hitch install.i did get a little discount of the hitch. but the point is why schedule to get a hitch done first thing in the morning? i finilly got my truck and trailer at 3pm that afternoon. i think next time I'll get anything done it will be at a other uhaul store.

I called in a reservation for a trailer, using this service made the experience more difficult than it should have been. Next time I will just go in and rent and bypass the phone reservation. Please have your reservation people listen to the customer and try to help them when they have a question. Mine reservation person just kept reading her prompts and didn't listen to me. The workers at the Fresno location were very professional and helpful, they did take the time to listen to me.

Hire a few people. I had completed the early check-in online. When I arrived there was only one person working,,,,covering both inside and outside responsibilities. I had to wait behind 5 people. Once I was checked in at the counter, I was directed outside where there was absolutlely no one there to help me get the trailer and depart. I walked back in and asked if he was the only guy working. He said there should be someone to assist outside. Guess what? No other body! I felt sorry for the guy. He was trying to manage it all. In the end,,,terrible experience and I wont be back.
