Actually there was a very long wait to get service. I think they definitely need more employees. I felt sorry for the girl behind the counter. Some people were very rude to her.

When we arrived they said the trailer I had reserved just two days before was not at that location. We were down graded but still charged for what we reserved. After taking an hour to check out we were informed we needed an adapter, no one had mentioned that until this point. We had to go back in and were asked to wait in line while two other customers were checked out. Worst experience ever to rent a trailer! Not customer oriented at all!

Get your reservations correct. I was told I had to return my truck rental to this location, only to be told when I arrived I was suppose to return in to the location I picked it up from. The employee at the place i picked it up from even called this location to confirm I had to drop it off at Lynhurst and Washington location. I was told I had a 14 foot in my first reservation to be picked up at Jakes only to be told they rented it and if i still wanted a 14 foot, I had to go to Greenwood to pick it up. Such poor service. Your customers want convenience not inconvenience.

Original pick up was in Martinsville, IN 40 min. away. No truck there or anyone from U-haul. Called 1-800go-uhaul and got another truck at this location. Wasted alot of time and energy and gas money. Service very slow! Waited over 40 minutes. Not happy...I did get vocher, but feel it should of been free and no gas mileage. I returned it on time and in good condition.

This is the second year I have rented from U-Haul. Last year the trailer leaked. This Year we rented a trailer and the floor was covered in something black which got all over our luggage and jackets. Also the lights were going in and out on the trailer.

You can clearly explain each portion of the contract before allowing the customer to sign. You can also make sure that all equipment that was reserved is in the truck. You can also remove the equipment that was not reserved from the truck before allowing the customer to drive off with the truck. Overall train your people to do their job correctly,

There was a lot of misscomunication prior to me picking up the vehicle, I talked to about six people and was given the wrong information. I was told a truck was available, then not available, only for 2 hours, then one was found for 3, told to call regional office a few times (why is there customer service). The rental experience was very frustrating. I will probably try Penske next time.

Returned the truck when the business was not open . . . on Sunday night. Either that particular facility or Uhaul automatically sent me an invoice. It did not include the total amount charged, which would have been a help. At least they acknowledged that I had returned the truck. The "automatic" emails and texts are great! Keep that up. I appreciate the communication.

Pick up location was changed at last minute via text message. Then I was told if I dropped of at another location it would be $250 extra. Seems to me Uhaul owes me $250 for doing the same thing! Tounge jack didnt crank up all the way bottomed out during the trip. Will shop around next time I rent.

The renal time is not long enough for the same price as every where else you should get the truck for a least 12 hour increments not 6 it would be hard to move a 1 bedroom in that amount of time I only drove 14 miles in you truck the storage unit was 1/4 mile up the road & had 3 fast pace adults &2 bedroom apartment &still couldn't get it finished in time 6 hours is not enough time for the money 65 plus the gas gauge was wrong there's a nother 20 bucks because your workers don't check everything out ?

Charging a 5 day minimum when the vehicle was only needed for 2 is a rip off. I purposely did not return it until the last possible hour because I was charged for 5 days. U-haul needs to implement an "either/or" option for long distance moves. Or offer cash back for early return. The fact that I paid $1600 for 48 hours of actual use made the overall experience extremely disappointing. I'll not use another truck rental company again.

I would like to rate the second location where I had to pick up another piece of equipment on E Washington Street. I made my reservation two weeks in advance and the day of pickup I called to see if my equipment would be available sooner. According to my guarantee my equipment was scheduled for pick up at 10am. When I called they informed me that piece was actually out on a rental and would not be available until 1230. This set my moving back and was an inconvenience. Not only had my reservation not been honored but now that piece of equipment was not available. Unacceptable. I then picked up the piece of equipment, on the other side of town as my rental truck, later that evening and was told the car tow must be attached the truck, which we did not bring, trying to save the mileage and gas for my 800 mile journey across country. Instead, we had to drive back to our home, pick up the rental truck and drive it back across town, before 7pm when that branch closed. We were upset and voiced our reasons for being disgruntled, and then were challenged by one of the workers at the E Washington branch, who used profane language as we were walking out of the store. We returned before 7pm and Angel was of great assistance and remedied the situation to her abilities. I have never been treated like this, inconvenienced like this and am completely unsatisfied with how this process worked. I have used U haul in the past and never had problems but this experience will make me rethink using this company again. I understand location of equipment may pose a challenge but to have my reservation replaced by someone else and then pushed my pick up time back and having those complications was the straw on the proverbial camel's back. If I could have used a different company last minute I would have. With our next move, will are now forced to explore other options because of the experience at the E Washington location and the inconvenience of picking up equipment at two locations across town and the times promised not being honored per my email contract/guarantee. I am very disappointed in the equipment assigning process- it is inefficient and not geared for the customer.

Having to pick up truck and trailer at 2 different locations was a negative. Also, the trailer I got is different from what I reserved (and got confirmation for) online. It did the job but more accurate information would be helpful.
