Clerk was all alone, and was juggling so many tasks at once, asked him, said they are short on help, supposed to be 3 workers, and it was only him. I didn’t catch his name but, he was doing great getting to everything, was still friendly, even though he was so busy. Great employee, trailer was what I needed and did the job.

My pickup was changed twice even with reserving four days prior. I am still waiting on a call for my guaranteed reservation being cancelled the night before to get the $50.
JASON MUnderstaffed and worker lacked communication skills
RICHARD BI had a reservation set for 10:30 in the morning. When I got there, they had nothing for me. Around noon, they finally took one of there trailers tags off of it and said we could take it that it was "fine." We get all the way home, open the door and it was infested with roaches! Come to find out, that trailer was not supposed to leave the lot dues to the bugs! Thank God, they all came out before we started loading our stuff in. We take the trailer back and are given another trailer that was not supposed to be on the road due to a giant hole in the side of it. We had to be out of our apartment that day, so we had no choice but to take it. I payed for the truck, got moved then they have the audacity to charge me another $85.00. I called them a couple days ago and they gave me $50 of my money back for not having my reservation ready. Well, today I get charged $119 and I am told if it's not paid it will be sent to collections! I am beyond furious. I have pics and videos of both trailers we recieved and even a vide of the conversation with the manager telling us to take the one with the hole in it because the other one was infested with roaches. This is ridiculous! I have reached out to have this fixed once, nothing was done except giving me $50 for my reservation not being ready, but then turn around and charge me $119 more! Absolutely, do NOT use this company. You will recieve crappy equipment and even worst customer service!.
AMBER JThe employee at the Uhaul of Lynhurst location who attached the trailer to my truck did not secure it to the hitch by turning the hitch locking mechanism. Because of this, the trailer detached from the hitch while bringing it back to my home. Luckily it was at a low speed and no damage occurred to the trailer or my vehicle. Always check to make sure the trailer is properly connected and do not trust the employees at this or any Uhaul location to know their job.

GALE ANo effort was made at all to greet us when we arrived. Employee was on personal call when i went into the shop. Told me to meet around the back then never came out. Never told us where to par the trailer or what to do. I got tired of waiting and unhooked and parked trailer myself. Location was trashy.

VICTOR DThe manager at the store was very rude and condescending. Even reserving everything online beforehand, it still took me almost 30 minutes to get the vehicle. Myself and one other guest were the only ones in the store. The vehicle smelled like it had been smoked in, got poor gas mileage, and rode quite awfully. If I had ten gold star stickers to give away, I might give 1/2 of one.

ROBERT CGet to this facility atleast one hour early. There is usually only one guy working and it will be 1 hour before he can get to you. Returns come first, no matter your place in line. When returning be prepared for another hour of waiting in the street cause the return line will be 7-8 trucks long with no room on the property. Employees will be frustrated and will need a smoke break after every 3 customers. Do not expect to get right in and out. You will be here for a while!

Deborah MI didn't make it back before closing time and the next morning I had to find a ride to pick me up when dropped it off the person that took it in said I owed and I said that I didn't have it at the moment So he said well you won't be able to rent for a long time and told me to go. I didn't sign or even see a lnoicr of the balance due.
KEVIN Cgot overcharged and did not get what I paid for or a refund for dolly that was not in uhaul. Uhaul smelled like marijuana when I picked it up.

ANTHONY PFirst, I delivered the truck much earlier than expected and they charged me because I supposedly delivered it the next day in the morning, but I had evidence because I took photos and the miles. Second, I bought some sheets to protect the TVs and they didn't tell me at any time that I had to return them and they charged me $92 dollars even though I'm going to return them because I only used 4😡 I would not return to that town and much less recommend them because they are thieves.
SAMUEL VI returned truck with same level of gas. When I returned after 2 hours they charged me extra 130$ for gas. For 16 miles using 130$ for gas it’s crazy

FRANCIS NTrailer floor needed to be reattached near the gate. Gate was bent on right side and was somewhat difficult to insert locking pin. Trailer pulled great and would rate staff customer service as excellent.

CHARLOTTE PLyndhurst location was open on 1/1/25, which helped me greatly. I was able to reach them by phone when I was delayed in my arrival. U-haul app is not helpful to me (extremely time-consuming identity confirmation process has delayed me greatly in the past, I do not plan on using it in the future) so being able to work with a person is important to me. Truck was clean. At this location, truck parking pattern makes it very difficult to photograph truck for pickup verification. The major issue was that the truck had almost no gas in it-much less than a 1/4 tank that is required at drop-off. I had to immediately get gas, delaying me. I was compensated a small amount to offset this, but about half of the real cost of that difference. I did ask when I dropped off the truck, and the staff at Coralville IA Uhaul were very kind to change that compensation. They are always helpful and prompt at the Coralville IA location. Thank you.
