It took about twenty mins to pick up with only one person working, but when another stepped in, it went quicker. Everyone was friendly. Drop off was fast. I'd definitely go through this location again.

The parking lot is a little on the small side, and the sales floor is rather crowded with merchandise and little space for people to form a line when needed. Vehicles could stand to be updated, but staff was friendly, efficient, and courteous.

Our customer service man was very friendly and helpful. Our wait was at least 45 minutes, but three service people were working their tails off.

I had a very good experience. Very friendly and relatively quick check-in. Friendly and quick check-out.

The air conditioner didn't appear to work in the vehicle. I was grateful that I was able to rent a 26 ft. vehicle the evening before what I had originally been told had to be a 7 am pickup.

I originally rented a trailer but the left blinker wouldn't work with my Jeep. They didn't have a mechanic available to fix it, but they were so accommodating and gave me a truck instead! Great customer service!! My only complaint is that we waited a very long time to be helped because the line was so long.

I asked for a Pick Up Truck to rent but I guess the person on the phone did not understand me and gave me 10 foot truck. I only have a couple of things to move. The person at the counter then argued with me and told me I was wrong and this would work better. It did end up moving more faster, but it was more expensive. Please have your employees listen better to the customer. They are the one making you money.

The contract wasn't well explained for a one-way rental since the person helping us (the manager, I believe) was too distracted dealing with a phone call that he should have had someone else take (very poor customer service). I asked a question on some of the fees and he brushed them off without really explaining them. I did not receive an itemized bill that told me what the breakdown of the fee was. In the future, I'll go over to the verona road location to rent even though it is a bit more out of the way.

First time renting a Uhaul. Everyone who helped me was pleasant. Price was right and I would definitely come back.

We believe the shocks on the truck we rented are shot. even for a large truck, it rode really ruff. To make it easier for businesses to rent from you, try to figure out a way you can accept credit cards over the phone. I had to interrupt both my schedule and my wife's schedule to come in and pay for it. If there would of been another rental place that had a similar vehicle available, we would of rented form them.

More efficient check in/check out at the front desk. Perhaps more staff at peak times.

Service was very slow. Associates seem to hate their job, which reflects in their attitude towards their customers.

Everything worked out fine. Employees were friendly and polite. Ah.... Just next time be sure trailer rented matches contract number. Not a big deal, we all make mistakes.

The engine light was on and there was no air conditioning, so maybe just making sure the equipment is working before sending the customer on their way :) excellent service thiugg, both the counter guy when I checked in and the return guy, very friendly and efficient. Thank you

It would be nice if U-haul didn't waste 6-9 square feet of cargo space with their moving blankets container. There is no way to take them out of the truck without breaking the green zip tie.

Via U-Haul's website, I reserved a truck for June 30th with the intent of keeping it for 2 days. I called the West Washington location, where I had reserved the 15 foot truck, to confirm that the reservation allowed for 2 days and was told yes. My mistake in not getting the person's name or even better, getting something in writing. I showed up around noon on the 30th to get my 2 day rental and was told that I would have to return the truck the next morning by 7am. I explained my intent to have it for 2 days and that I had called to confirm that. Adam, the employee assisting me, who I also believe may have been the manager, was quite indifferent. He stated that they do not do 2 day rentals at the beginning of the month (around moving time). At first he just sat at the counter, said there was nothing available in that size, at their location or any other. All they had were trailers and vans. He did nothing. Eventually he looked around and found one that was scheduled to return to the West Towne location that afternoon. I went there and of course, it was not returned on time. Val, the employee at the West Towne location, was much more empathetic. He made some calls, trying to connect with the person with that particular truck though had no luck. He made some calls and found a truck in Mt. Horeb. While it was only 10 feet, it was a truck and, interestingly enough, I could keep that one for 2 days. Stressful process trying to find a truck I can keep for 2 days all the while my moving help is sitting at my house waiting for me to arrive with the truck. Val saved my day. He made an effort to help me and understood my stress. Next time I will be going to the store directly and getting things in writing.

Keep in mind I did't see the intake side of this location, just the drop off. The two staff that checked me in were professional, thanked me for making sure I had the vehicle swept out, but it was the working side of the facility. Doors were open, tools, parts and hitches around, etc. Not much could be changed, maybe isolate the return area from the shop.

The gas refilling program is less than accurate. I recently did a day rental with a van. The gas gauge reading at pick up was quoted at 7/8s of a tank. A couple miles away from the store it appeared more like 3/4s. In trying to match the fuel guage appearance before returning my vehicle, I had to keep turning the ignition on while refueling to get a visual on the needed amount. In the end I still got docked for 3 gallons of surcharge at a very inflated rate. Not pleased with this awkward procedure and result. Just fill the tank at the outset and ask me to fill it upon return.
