The bag full of furniture pads mounted inside the truck was extremely inconvenient. It frequently got in our way and the annoyance factor diminished the overall experience. I declined pads or dollies at several stages during the reservation process, so to find them in the truck anyway was annoying and unnecessary. Please remove these items from the backs of the trucks so that I actually get the cubic feet of storage and ease of access I paid for.

BAIT n SWITCH. Called ahead to see if I would be allowed to drop off equipment after hours and was told "you have to make the reservation online and if there is a problem we will contact you." I made reservation online and requested a van for 12 hours (8am to 8pm). No one called me to say it was an issue and when I arrived at 8am, it was an issue. Upon arriving Saturday, I noted there was only one front desk person, very inexperienced. She appeared to have lost a $100 deposit made by the customer she was serving, which was not resolved in the time that I was there. FINALLY, another individual arrived after about 15 minutes. He helped the gentleman before me and that gentleman’s reservation was incorrect (requested 14-foot, only got 10-foot). After he was served, I was helped. Though my reservation was correct, I was not allowed to keep the truck until 8:00pm as reserved online. Rather I was told that I had to have it back by 6:59pm. This conflicted what I was told via telephone, but since it was already past 8:30am, I did not argue. Also, my online estimate did NOT match what I was charged (they decided to pre-charge me for 30 miles). When I asked about that, he meekly replied “they must have pre-charged you based on your address.” Since I was going to be using the truck for more than 30 miles, I did not press the issue, but I see this as another example of the bait and switch that I observed is characteristic of this location.

I was a little disappointed with the final price. The cost per mile seems to have gone up quite a bit since my last move a few years ago (possibly almost doubled). Otherwise it went great.

I was not shown the rental truck for inspection prior to signing for it, to verify the fuel level or damage. Wasn't notified that the tralier I need to tow my car was not at the same location until signing for the truck. I will NEVER use Uhaul again!

I have used Uhaul for all my past moves and have been happy with the experience. This time was different...I feel the a flat tire due to dry rott is completely unacceptable. While the people I had interactions with were nice, not one person offered compensation for the absolute inconvenience this rental truck caused us. Waiting 2.5 hours for a flat tire to be changed is ridiculous...and then when the service man took off the tire, he confirmed the tire was leaking air to dry rott AND had about 5 plugs in it. These things should be checked each time a truck is returned and released out.

My experience was phenomenal. Staff were very courteous and professional. The cost of the truck rental was very economical. The facility is very clean and well kept. Management was excellent and went above and beyond to meet my need. I was very pleased and I will definatetly recommend the services to my family and friends. Thank you so much!

My problem was not with this location, it was with another U-Haul location. I had originally reserved a truck at another location and changed my pick up time several days in advance. The person on the phone did not change the reservation and I was called in the morning asking why I was not there to pick up my truck. When I told them that I had changed the time, he said the order did not show the time change and that he did not have any trucks available. He was kind enough to make some calls to find another truck, but did not tell me that the new truck was to be picked up at a different location. By the time I drove over to the other location, a truck rental that was originally scheduled for noon - 5pm, was 2:30pm - 6pm. We barely had enough time to load everything and move. It was not ideal.

Had an online reservation from 9am-3pm. That morning I received a call at 830 asking if I was going to pick up my Uhaul for my 730 reservation and I needed to return it by 130 pm. I explained my reservation and went to pick it up. I did not notice the time on the contract that was printed out still had 730-130. They called at 145 asking for the truck back. I had to quickly finish up and get it back. The Uhaul store changed my reservation without me knowing. I did not get my rental for the reserved time and I did not get the $50 for the mistake. They over booked and did not admit it.

Get clean, safer vehicles (seat belts damaged) and a vehicle that starts the first time instead after 2 or 3 trys. Also, get the fuel levels correct in the vehicles so next renter isn't told to have 3/4 and actually have 1/2.
