What a fantastic facility. My rental was ready, quickly processed, and the staff was very friendly. I used to be a Budget Employee, but I always use U-Haul.. The Redding store rocks :)

Ended up paying for 10 more miles than I drove because of wrong mileage on contract.
Was told gas gauge was at 1/2 and it was not. When I questioned the mileage upon turning truck in attendant was very unprofessional. I will not rent at this location again.

I wish we would of been asked whether or not we were going to be hooking up trailer lights. They did NOT
match, and were useless. We could of been better prepared, as this was a new experience for us. Otherwise, truck was perfect.

Please let the girl who was working at 11:00 that she was doing amazing for being alone and under a lot of stress! Also please staff more people, expect high customer flow on a Saturday and have three there in stead of just one.

have a sign up saying if you are renting a trailer u have to have the plug or ur going to have to buy one. the reason why i saying this is that we were told if the trailer was smaller that the truck towing it u didnt need lights on the trailer but when we got there i had to buy a plug to hook up the lights to the truck.

I was completely shocked at the horrid condition of the truck U-haul rented to us. The engine sounded horrible and it was definitely almost dead mechanically. The line to pick up the truck, even though we booked a reservation, took 45 minutes because there was only one person working in the store. We were charged for items and equipment we didn't even use or ask for but were in the truck when we picked it up. The fuel gauge bounced around so we were never really sure what the gas amount was when we rented it and when we returned it. Overall I think U-haul is a rip off and next time I'll use Ryder. Thanks for nothing, Kelly & Curtis

The truck would not start twice.Had to let it set for a bit before it would.The loading ramp would not go in,so we had to disassemble it to get it back in truck. Then when using it a second time it would not go in at all. So we put it in the back of the truck when we returned it, OVER ALL IT WAS A PIECE OF JUNK!

For one, The uhaul truck we rented did not have the dolly strapped down and even though I didnt use it we got charged for it. Two, when we picked up the truck it has 1001 miles on it and when we turned it in it had 1027 on it. The man that took the truck noted the 27 miles and said we would be charged 48 dollars. I got a receipt in my email saying we were charged 70 dollars for 60 miles used. We only used the truck to take 2 loads of stuff to our storage located 5 miles from our home. The uhaul was 2 miles away from our home. If the odometer read that we only used the truck for 26 miles, why are we being charged for 59 miles? why did it suddenly change? This company has lost a customer and then some. This facility will also be hearing more from us.
