We had a wonderful trip from Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Corvallis, Oregon!
The 26' feet truck did very good with our heavy household load!

Everything was great except for when I called customer service phone line people, their computer systems were unable to pull up my account and when they transfered me they cut me off so I had to call back. I understand glitches every now and again. not the peoples fault/ maybe not/ we will go with probably not/ or half machine error half human error. In any event I was perfectly satisfied with everyone I spoke with and the fact that they all showed genuine care for my situations. Thanks for everything and I will use your services again if the need arises.

uhaul charges of $30 if tank is not full is outrageous. I drove a total of 13 miles and returned the vehicle. I was allowed to fill gas in the vehicle which need 5.5 gallons. No way in the world that vehicle used almost 6 gallons for 13 miles. I will not use your company again

There was only one person working it took at least 45 minutes to get the uhaul. Things were not explained very well except for the gas portion. Then when I went back to get more pads we had to wait another half hour to fourty five minutes because there was still only one person there.

Cab was from the 80's, very poor condition. The radio didnt work and dashboard was broken bounced around with every bump.
If I was going across country make sure you get a newer and nicer cab.

Customer Service was excellent, however, it would be helpful if the person assisting would also take a moment to go over necessary controls in the vehicle for anyone who has not used the truck in the past. Driving to GA, I had the need to use the emergency brake. It took 2 of us to finally figure out where the release was. Other than that, everything was great.

They didn't have the trailer I rented online. Were going to give me a larger trailer but couldn't find that one and everything else was too big for me. I ended up taking a van which cost me approximately $200 instead of $25 (not accounting for my own gas use). Staff was friendly but slow and way understaffed. Took way too long.

Have the reservation I made the day before, there when I come to pick it up. Maintain the truck. (Headlights didn't work, the ride was comparable to a lumber wagon.) I'd love to get a refund, but I doubt that's close to possible. Won't use uhaul ever again.

I just want to say that Kyle went above & beyond the call of duty. I recently put a new plug on my van but I put the wrong one on. Kyle made an adapter to match with my plug and the trailer to get me on my way. Great job Kyle. Thank you, I will be back.

When I went in to rent a certain employee, Sven, rolled his eyes and proceeded to verbally attack my decision to rent a trailer, He used vulgar language immediately and talked only to his co worker and acted as if I was not there. He complained about people who rent trailers and called the trailer I was renting a "huge piece of sh*t", I'm no prude but this was just very unacceptable. I would like to see some type of repercussions for this type of behavior.

The rates that they quote you and what you actually get charged is way off they quote you a low rate then charge you a much higher price.

We had a horrible customer experience. I received a phone call the day before our scheduled pick up date saying the 20' Uhaul I rented (nearly 3 weeks in advance), wasn't going to be available. The lady on the phone told me there was a 17' available which still would fit up to a 3-bedroom house. I did say at that point we would take it (we really had no other choice, because we had to move that weekend.... it's hard to just switch dates to move over 300 miles and people need to take time off work for this). When we got to the uhaul place, it clearly states the 17' is only for 2 rooms, NOT 3. It was extremely frustrating and it took a lot of time to get everything figured out. The lady in Sioux Falls was extremely helpful and did let us rent a pull behind for free. We returned the Uhaul prior to 3:00 Saturday afternoon. I actually got a call from Uhaul Sunday afternoon asking when I was going to return it.... really? When we took it back, they said they took care of everything on their end and obviously that was not the case because they were not even aware I took it back. I will probably never do business with this company again!

the aspect of service was nonexistent. when i arrived for my reservation, the agent told me she would go out to start and warm up the truck. i had to scrape the ice and snow off myself....without an ice scraper, cuz i didnt think id need it...?....i just moved on. when i returned the truck, the gentleman accepting the truck return was having a bad day, apparently. when he *threw* the clipboard into the truck and ran inside mumbling: :i dont know what it was, but he was unhappy...:. nonetheless, service-wise....the place sucked. im just sayin.
