The price was nowhere near the quoted, and when I opened the truck bed there were strewn about cargo mats and the dolly was still inside. There were too few staff or unproductive staff, to clean out and check the trucks. The woman finished our transaction just told us "go outside the keys are in it." It was running and still had the last customers drinks inside it.

I had a very positive experience renting an 'in-town' 10ft truck to move my daughter on July 31. I made a reservation for 7AM and was #3 on line. I was processed quickly and efficiently by Robyn and we were on our way by 7:45. The gentlemen on the lot were helpful and pleasant to deal with. Thank you for making that part of the move painless.

The truck was in good shape and the people I worked with were very pleasant, but I waited 45 minutes for my van in line and still had to adhere to my original window despite all of that wasted time. That was an inappropriate way to handle the long delay. Other than that, however, which mostly was a function of the day and time, it was a good location.

it is almost impossible to contact the location by phone -- i was constantly connected to the main number. And when I did talk to someone who said he was on site, he told me there was parking on the Uhaul lot -- instead of taking the Metro which would have been easy and cheap I drove because I was told there was free parking on your lot. Instead I had to pay in a local lot. But the people on site were excellent and the truck was quite good.

It was the first of the month, so it was exceptionally busy. Unfortunately, the 7am start time was not met, as I was waiting in line for 30 minutes until I received the vehicle and was not given the full 4 hours. The employees were efficient and answered my questions well.

1. Staff was efficient and courteous, even when customers were upset. 2. Truck was well-used and best-up, but since this was a local move, that was okay. (However, the gas mileage truly sucked, which may have been due to the beat up, poor condition of the truck.) However, even though it was noted that the truck had a 1/4 tank of gas, I noticed as I drove away the gas tank was at was somewhere between 1/8 and 1/4. When I returned the truck, I was told the tank must be at 1/4 not cool.

Simple: ensure the vehicles are ready when the customer reserved them for. I was one of several parties that had to wait an hour or more, despite the fact I made a reservation. Furthermore, I was informed that I was only eligible for the $50 credit if Uhaul didn't have a vehicle there for me at all that day. First of all, that actually happens?! The multiple-hour delays caused enough stress for the movers in my same situation. Secondly, if that had happened, I'd be pushing for a lot more than $50. Especially within the city, that delay/cancellation has a lot of cascading effects.

I reserved a dolly online and expected it to be available. When I arrived I was told that there was not one. I was moving by myself and this was a significant issue. I then asked if there was 50 dollar credit for the equipment not being available and was told this was only for trucks. Everyone at the place was great and very nice but the lack of a dolly and not being compensated for that is a scam.

They never answer the phone. Calls are just transferred to another location or to general UHaul customer service without being told that they are not talking to the location itself. We called asking if we could park here for the day and they answered our questions, only for us to find out later we had been talking to a totally different location (our call was secretly transferred when this location didn't pick up). I have now called the location 3 times trying to get a gift certificate applied because this location erroneously failed to apply it when they charged us. (Side note, I only have this gift certificate because of UHaul's terrible service on the 1 other time I used their services, probably should have learned my lesson). Each time I have waited on hold for half an hour or more and been transferred multiple times - sometimes without even being told I was being transferred. Finally, I was told the discount would not be applied. The company's attitude was basically "too bad," they just didn't care. Also if you're dropping off your truck after hours don't expect to be able to find a place to park it. I will never be using UHaul again.

Improve desk service in the office and with overall performance. The employees were extremely slow, barely articulate, and overall unprofessional in their performance and behavior. There was a huge line and only two people working. Even then, the employee "assisting" me was already talking about taking a break and clocking out because "ain't nobody here." I was charged the full amount of the deposit even though the contract and receipt I received indicated a significant refund. The employees in the lot were much more helpful and quick to be of assistance.

Mostly a great experience. The lot staff could be more helpful. I was a little confused about where to pick up/drop off the equipment and the staff seemed to ignore me for a while. I was eventually helped so no harm done, but it was a bit confusing at times.
