It is impossible to contact the local branch for any questions. I spent over an hour just to ask a simple question about how to pack a piece of furniture and was not able to contact anyone. Your customer service is terrible and in the future I will be contacting a smaller local service that I can actually get answers from.

My experience was excellent, it was my first time renting a u-haul. Staff was well informed and worked at a good pace. There was a line up and they were sure to acknowledge the waiting customers. All good. The van was in excellent condition. I will certainly use U-haul again. Thank you.

As stated before: "This was a 5 hour delay and I was not allowed food delivery either. 5 hours on the side of the road and I was told that would be for "stranded" people only. So a friend drove out and came and picked up my wife - brought her to get food. Thanks friend, not U-Haul."

Ignition switch on truck was VERY HARD to turn. Notified staff. Extended wait for service sometimes due to minimal staff working. However staff was VERY helpful ' professional.

HI The fellow that helped us was great! Unfortunately, he was the only staff person assisting customers so there was huge lineup and people had to wait quite a while. Additional staff are definitely required for weekends and especially at store opening time for equipment pick up and drop off. Thank you!

Day started bad. Arrived met by Richard he informed me the doors were locked and he could not get in. Waited till 8 until someone from management arrived there were 10 people in line and all had arrived after me. But as doors opened they all rushed inside crushing the two employees in their wake. I was dissapointed at my fellow human beings and voiced my displeasure to a stunned crowd. Richard immediately apologized and made things right with a discount. Thanks Richard for stepping up and taking care of the customer a great and dedicated employee you are and i hope your management reads this because you deserve a pat on the back. Richard and employees at the Regent location is why i keep coming back.

late opening of over 1 hour created for a very toxic environment. Please review backup system for late arrival of staff and more importantly, someway of ensuring clients are dealt with in the order they arrive (ie, ticket numbering or perhaps presetting appointment times) Everyone scrambled for immediate service whether they had been waiting 5 minutes or over an hour. It made for some very unhappy and animated clients. One employee was there very early, but had no access to the building and had to wait with all the irritated clients.

I have no need to recommend a specific uhaul location on the other side of town. The worst part of using uhaul....I requested my trailer pick to be on the westside of the city. But they called me the day before and said my trailer would only be available for pick up on the opposite side of the city on the far east side. instead of 5 minute drive to pick up at the trailer I had to drive 45 minutes. This is ridiculous and shows no concern for customers. when I spoke to two different locations plus the central office this approach appears to be common and accepted inside Uhaul organization. when you rent a car do they ever send you to another pick up location? Never. When do you rent a hotel room do they ever send you to another hotel location?. Never.

Be a little more clear about rate per km. Also make sure the rate for miles on american equipment matches km rate. Example. 49 cents a km does not equal 1.10 cents per mile.

Things weren't clearly explained. I learned after moving that the truck had a roof problem and some of my belongings suffered water damage as I was unaware.

The move went well last June 29. My concern was the disturbing calls we received the following day after the move. I felt I am being accused that we stole your truck. After the move, we dropped the keys same day to your drop box. Then the following day, we received the call from U-Haul asking for the truck and the keys. We explained what we did and where we dropped the keys. We thought that everything was clear until we received another call from U-Haul regent on July 1, asking us if we still have the truck since they cannot see the truck. Where in this world I can park the 14ft truck? Apparently, someone from you U-Haul might have it rented without clearing our name which is very disturbing. And I didn't received any calls that they found the truck until I called yesterday and was able to confirm that we're already cleared. I hope this will not happen again.

The original truck I reserved was double booked. However it worked out better for me with the compensation I received for taking a smaller truck. The truck I did get was dirty. The security tab for the wheeler was not attached which I didn't know until was home. I didn't receive any information or a walk around of the truck. I had an extra day added to my contract free, after 24 hours I had someone at uhaul bothering me saying that the truck was late. Someone didn't read my contract. The truck was great except for the a/c freezing up and then no airflow at all. That sucked as it was hot and raining hard that day.

I booked online at mcphillips. But when I arrived was sent to Regent to get a 20' instead of a 26'. Nice folks at Regent. A very busy location they seemed to work quickly.

Increase staff during monthend to reduce pickup and drop off waiting times . The staff at Regent were super taking into considering weather and various problems but they were clearly stressed and under pressure in order to satisfy the customers needs.
