I had booked a uhaul on line with pickup at the Mcphilpis depot. I had received a phone call the day before pickup day to inform me that I was to receive a 17 foot rather than 15 foot. They did not tell me that I would have to pick it up at the Regent depot. Upon arrival at Mcphilips I was told to go to Regent Depot. It cost me another 25 dollar tazi cab fare. The person who helped me with the booking told me that the vehicle was ready. When I arrived at my destination I opened the truck compartment the dolly and blankets that I had paid for was not there. I informed the people at Yorkton that the dolly and blankets were not in the vehicle. They indicated that on the bill. I am going to contact the Regent to see if I am able to get a refund on the items that I paid for but were not in the vehicle.Overall the service was good but maybe there was an oversight on the agents behalf.

Overall I have no complaints. Only trouble was meeting the 8 hrs limit. As I was told that I could simply call to extend the hours. But I was advised when I pickup the vehicle that there was no extra time allowance, as the truck was already booked , an hour after my deadline? What was that all about?

Please do not make those annoying calls about renting extra materials and rental storage. If we require those services, we'll ask for them. I almost cancelled my reservation after the 2nd call and would have if there had been a third "reminder".

The left Tail light of the trailer fell out of its frame about 5 miles after the pickup. I had to buy screws and reattach it. The price of the screws was $5.00.

Quicker service upon return of rented vehicle. A sign instructed me to stop and remain with vehicle and a staff member would attend. I waited about 5 minutes, then had to go and find someone. There was only one employee behind desk, she was helping a customer.

I reserved a 10-foot truck online on February 28 for my move on March 8 (one week in advance). When I arrived to pick up the truck on March 8, at 9:00am, I was greeted by a gentleman with red hair. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name. He advised me that they did not have a 10 foot truck available. When I inquired why/how the online system would allow me to reserve a 10-foot truck if there was none available, he became instantly agitated. He proceeded to tell me that there just wasn't one available and that I would need to rent either a cargo van or a 15-foot truck. I responded that a 15 foot truck would be fine, at the same price as a 10 foot truck, but the cargo van would be far too small. "Oh no.. the 15 foot truck costs more than the 10 foot truck," he said. At this point, I was becoming very offended by his confrontational and defensive attitude and told him that I didn't want to spend that much, and that's why I had reserved the 10-foot truck. And I asked, again, why the 10-foot truck was not available. He huffed and puffed and then the other service agent working at the next kiosk over (a young lady) chimed in and advised that the previous customers had not returned the truck when they were supposed to. I responded, "I'm sorry to hear that, but that's not my fault". After a few moments of uncomfortable silence (and being stared down by the red-headed gentleman), I turned back to the him and asked if there were any10-foot trucks available at any other U-Haul location. He checked the computer and said no. Then I turned to my fiancé, who was with me, and I said, "they have a lot full of trucks, and I'm pretty sure I saw some 10-foot trucks back there..." and before I could even finish my sentence, the red-headed gentlemen got angry and proceeded to challenge me to show him where the 10-foot truck was that I saw. He went so far as to start walking out of the store, saying "Oh, you saw a 10-foot truck? Where is it? Come on, show me where you saw the 10-foot truck... there's none out there.. well, come on, come show me!" I could not believe how incredibly rude he was being! I was beside myself. At this point, I told him I was no longer interested and we would just use my dad's truck. He let us walk out the door without offering us any alternative options - did not offer us a 15 foot truck for the same price as the 10-foot truck, and if I hadn't asked him to check other locations, he would not have done so. As my fiancé and I were getting into our vehicle to leave, the red-headed gentleman stormed by and without even looking at us yelled "if you want the 15 foot truck for the same price, then..." and he pointed towards the store. So we went back into the store, where the young lady proceeded to help us. She apologized and said that he's grumpy in the mornings sometimes. She acknowledged that his behavior was inappropriate and that he should have dealt with the situation better. We did end up taking the 15-foot truck for the same price as the 1

I rented a truck, and there was a charge for klm. rate of 69 cents. But on return was not informed the odometer was in miles. Which made for some confusion on the billing on my return. Also not aware of button for towing and hauling, which was on and I did not need for my load, which I used more gas.

I had an extremely difficult time with this reservation. I initially reserved with the Century location in Winnipeg for a vehicle and trailer pick up on 24 Feb 2015 at 10 am, I was told I would receive a phone call to determine the location of the facility I would be picking up the equipment. I had to phone the day prior as I did not receive a location call. The staff at the Century location were very helpful and gave me the location and the phone number of the pick up location. I phoned them and that is when the problem began. The Asian person I spoke with was very difficult to understand and told me my pick up day was Wednesday, 25 Feb 2015, I had ordered the equipment for the 24th Feb 2015, Once I clarified this with him he said it would be no problem for the 24th at 10 AM, The location was at 720 Nairn in Winnipeg. I showed up at what turned out to be a car dealership and it did not open till 10 AM, No problem I thought as businesses normally open 15 to 30 minutes before the stated time. I went to the door and it was locked with no lights on inside, I waited till 10 AM and then chose to drive down to the Regent St location about 2 minutes down the road, I went inside and asked about getting a rental there and the lady politely told me they could not at this time, I went back to the Nairn location and waited another 10 minutes and no one showed. So now I went back to the Regent location and inform the young girl there I did not want to deal with the Nairn location as there was no one there. The young girl (not the original lady that assisted me) called and they said they were there and had been. This was a lie and I told her I wanted to deal with the Regent location at this point, She made a few calls and told me they had a truck but not trailer but I could drive over to the Century location half way across the city to get it, Again this was a problem as I was going to load my car and drive back to my apartment, I was alone and did not plan on driving all over the city to gather what I needed, I did get upset at this point as I was not getting any customer satisfaction nor decent service, The original lady interjected and said she would see what she could do, The young girl then walked away, At this point the lady found me a truck and a trailer and I loaded my car right away, I am seriously dissatisfied and cannot believe the customer service I received from the young girl, I did finally get what I needed but should not have had to go through that much of a hassle, The next day while I was already moving I received a call from a representative about my rental for the 25th Feb 2015, Again this was the rental I required for the 24th, I tried to call back to make sure it was cancelled but there was no answer and no way to leave a voice mail, I do hope my credit card is not charged for a rental I did not require, My total bill for the rental was $1479.17, When a customer spends this amount it is expected that one would receive some professional as
