You pay for the gas- obviously. So when they pulled it around, they just left it running. What? Stop. When inspecting the vehicle, we pointed out huge damage points. The assistant actually said, "Oh, I didn't even notice that." Wha? And while leaving, we noticed the tire pressure light on. When we confronted them, their response was, "We're aware. It's not an issue." Well that didn't make me feel safe, but thanks! Granted, we were asking lots of questions because we didn't want to be nickle-and-dimed. Maybe we annoyed them, but I'm pretty sure their customer service skills are lacking regardless if someone asks a question or not. I wasn't impressed in the least. But at the end of the day, I came to terms with the fact that it's not a company built on good customer service. They just rent trucks to people. Maybe I wasn't supposed to be impressed.

Location was understaffed (1 person working the counter). I was not acknowledged when I arrived and it took 30 minutes for someone to spend 2 minutes to check in the Truck. It was not busy. I had no issues picking up the Truck.

you need more staff. There was only one person there who could really do anything, and she was exhausted and overworked and there were way too many people in line. We asked for the van at 3pm, and the van itself may have been ready by then. However, the line and the paperwork took so long that we couldn't get the van out of there until after 4 which was much later than we needed it to be. It set our whole move way behind. Also the van was in terrible shape externally. It looked like it had been through a war on the outside. At least the inside was in good condition.

It was too busy to only have one person behind the counter on a Saturday , the first weekend of the month when people are moving. The people working there were very helpful and efficient, they just needed more of them.

Van wasn't dirty, but wasn't clean. Could use a wash and a good vacuum of interior. Make space for customers renting vehicles to park on-site. Parking off the lot is why I probably won't use you again.

I usually like this U-Haul location. It was really busy and understaffed on the Saturday I rented a truck. In addition, I had requested the truck for 4 hours but was told that I had to return the truck in 3 hours because it was rented to someone else at the end of 3 hours. When I got home, I looked at my confirmed reservation, which said, "Four hours of use requested, subject to availability." I think it needs to be clear when you make a reservation, the time you will get the truck for. Limiting my time to 3 hours had a definite impact on my move and my ability to get what I needed to do, done.

Rep forgot to load the dolly I rented into the van. Had to go back for it but not hugely inconvenient and she acknowledged mistake immediately. No hassles when I went to pick it up.

Misha wolf and staff were excellent from the word go. I called when I made my box reservation because I had never done this before. They walked me thru everything. Put me at ease. 3 weeks later when I got to seattle from Illinois it was the same excellent service. They were a little short staffed but they had a help wanted ad on the door. She busted her butt to help me and I did not overlook it. I also rented a uhaul that day also and she helped me with directions and all too save me time during rush hour. Scale of 1 to 10 I give her a 10. Outstanding customer service!!!!! Thank u all so much for your help.

I arrived at the p/u location at 8:55. Then had a 35 minute wait standing in line. There were 3 people ahead of me and three employees. Unfortunately, only one employee was working with customers. The other two were outside in parking lot.

I think it's a poor representation on the company to not provide courtesy parking on the lot. Customers must drive their vehicle down the arterial and around the corner to a sketchy side street in order to park. Then we have to walk a block back to the lot. Major hassle and doesn't show appreciation to the customers. Staff seem casual and laggard, like that of a US post office employee. Vehicles are in good shape though; I can tell you take pride in them.
