Lack of parking on Uhaul site. Had to park on Morgan street, which wasn't bad, but inconvenient. More parking stalls for cars/trucks using trucks for the day.

When I showed up there was a lady that greeted me and told me that I needed to be escorted to the truck. She made me get in the truck. She told me that I needed to sit in the truck until she told me to get out. I had to do a bunch of checks. I've never been told to do this before. It felt like a drill sergeant type of check. She then at the end jumped up in the truck to check the stuff herself which made me very uncomfortable. I also was told that I went over mileage which is because they made me go to this location to drop off the truck in the first place. Which ended up taking twice as long as I was told when I picked up with truck. Both of these experiences were less than ideal. I'm not sure if I would use Uhaul again when we move next time. Nor would I recommend you to my friends or family. Very disappointing experiences.

The employee who helped me out pressured me to purchase unnecessary items (e.g. additional coverage) by using fear tactics ("You'll have to pay thousands of dollars if that gets damaged, bub" - over and over. I know how insurance works, thank you!). He also charged me $5 for a 2" Hitch Adapter - an item that was not mentioned online when I reserved the truck for the purpose of towing my 1992 Corolla. Obviously, I rented a truck for the purpose of towing my car, so why wouldn't all necessary items be included? If I owned a hitch adapter, I would likely own a truck and therefore not need to rent a truck in the first place. I felt deceived. Upon returning the truck, the woman who helped me out, Dawn, out was surprised to see a $5 charge for the tow bar. Another employee looked at the charge and was surprised as well. The original employee who helped me returned and told his fellow employees that they should be charging for hitch adapters. It's strange that I was the first customer to receive this unfortunate charge. I will not return to this Uhaul location because I really did not like the first employee who "helped" me out.

I went well out of my way to pickup a specific trailer. Since it was Friday, May 1st I couldn't find the equipment locally due to beginning of the month rush. Well, they didn't have my equipment. I didn't have the time to track down or visit other locations so I had to make due with a trailer 2 sizes smaller. So much for Uhaul's guarantee. I was kicking myself for not calling ahead and checking....I know better when dealing with Uhaul. I didn't have any issues with the location. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Following the UHaul chart on the contract that they highlighted, I filled the gas tank on return and ended up paying for 1/4 tank more than used. "Misleading" I tell the clerk who said they would adjust my miles to compensate me. This was not done, I called customer service later who said the store would call me back--- they didn't. I sent an email to customer service a couple days laterf--- no reply. DO NOT USE UHAUL. It's a rip off. They don't care if you overfill the tank. They will promise you anything at the counter so you'll leave and then never respond to you or refund you.

More check out staff in the morning - there were long lines and it took over 30 minutes to to even speak to someone before checking out a reserved van.

I was recommended a smaller truck and was assured I could fit everything. So I decided to rent truck for less than the full 24 hour period. The truck actually couldn't fit everything so had to make two trips. Wanted to extend reservation to full 24 hours but was told I would get charged another $20. Seriously?? Not a good experience overall.

Felt like I was going through a customs inspection when I returned the truck. Employee seemed like she was on a power trip, returning the truck took far too long.
