I've used this location several times and would like to continue however the fact that they don't have help or the proper number of employees will definitely distract me from returning. 1) only one person was working and the line was out the door!! If you are on a time constraint because a truck is due back at a certain time, that's a problem. 2) I drive for a living. Your mileage tracker runs faster than it should. That's illegal and crooked, all to make extra money, because mileage is where the bread and butter is.

The only thing I would improve on would be not to have the employees stretched so thin that one or two ppl have to contend with the rental, check in, sales. Although I know it's about getting the most out of the least man hours.

Discontinue policy of bait and switch. You gave me one contract for $135 and when son returned truck you charged over 3 times that. You talk policy....tell your clerks policy, not customers. I filed some complaint and got hung up on by some guy named Mike....called back and had a clarice or someone who did the work. Nobody seems to know who supervisors are. John of location told me to call these folks to clear up overcharge. BAIT AND SWITCH

at the location, only one person working desk, waited in line for 30 minutes, truck was not ready or clean, shook badly when brakes applied, called early in week to set up ahead of time and could not be found in system, finally found reservation and it was not correct. truck was booked for u-haul location in wisconsin. received 2 voice mails from that location asking why I had not picked up van. over all not a positive experience. did speak with Carmen at your call center and she checked to make sure that I had not been charged by the wisconsin location. She was very pleasant and helpful.

Your Check in sign gives the impression to wait in the vehicle and you will be taken in turn. So I waited and watched others behind me get taken care of first and on top of that was recognized by at least one employee who said " Be with you in a moment" and proceeded to check in two more vehicles that came in after me.

The employees should go over the vehicle with the person renting it to cover the damages that the vehicle already has.. I had no way of knowing what damages the vehicle already had until I was given the keys and went out to get the truck.

My complaint for years has nothing to do with the sites. There is a disconnect with the service to which calls forward. The "national" number doesn't know what is really going on in the local store level and each mgr has broad procedural authority. This translates into tremendous confusion at the point of pickup/dropoff, after ALL the work has been done by a person remote to the store and you are at the point of pickup/drop off. And the mgr even admitted the remote support staff are told to lie about being local which I don't really care about if all mgrs. followed one set of national rules without any authority for discretion OR remote staff knew when to ask the mgr to call the client. MOST of the complaints you can hear from multiple other customers while you are on site reflect the same disconnect between what remote support/scheduling SAYs and what mgts are authorized to DO. It is not the store's fault per se either.

I was supposed to pick the truck up in Urbana. I get the location in Urbana and I am told the truck is in Springfield. I WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THIS CHANGE!!!! No email, no text, no phone call. How unprofessional!!!! I had movers lined up to be at my home at 10:00 am. I was informed at 9:15 am I was going to have to drive to Springfield and back to get the truck.

Have managers return phone calls, Entire staff needs to communicate w customer and each other-All of them were limited to info & did not carry out what they said they would do. CEO Mark Quinn is very unprofessional continued to argue and talk over me when I was further disillusioned by his NOT keeping all of his agreement and refused to further discuss a compromise after my having to have 3 vehicles before I left the pick up. Having no manager phone call returns during my rental. A break down on the way home laying us over a whole night causing my boyfriend to miss an entire work day etc. This has been a nightmare. I will never use this company or refer it to anyone.
