I don't know how you can improve on a place that is courteous and has good equipment at a fair price. The only thing that could be improved is hiring addition personnel. But I may have been there late in the shift and others had already left.

I was a walk-in and had to wait for trucks to be shifted around to find the truck that had been assigned to me. Your employees at this location are very courteous and kind.

Tow dolly was severly torn at the time of pick up, and lights did not work properly even after the associate made us by parts for the rental. Still charged us full price and there were no refunds for the parts. Tow dolly almost fell apart half-way through the trip. Terrible service. I will never come back.

The person that checked out the truck to us that we rented didn't check the gas gauge properly, so when we returned the truck with the gas gauge back where it started at we still were charged. The paperwork said something different than the actual gauge of the truck. There is no way that we used as much on gas as it says we did in the very short mileage that we actually traveled. Called to see what could be done about this and no one was able to help us. Very disappointing that someone's lack of thoroughness doing their job cost us money. Waste of money.

Truck was 20 years old and had severe steering problems. It wouldn't even start at one point. Ordered 3 dozen pads, got 5 pads total. Very poor product quality.

First of all everything was fine until we got back to return truck, was not told the truck was only rented for 6 hours!!! Was not told mileage was being charged!!! Very upset with the customer service from the morning, he said things that were simply not true!!! Very withdrawn young man, not friendly at all or informative, he is in the wrong job where someone else has to listen to rants because he was not clear.

The staff did not pay attention to changes that had been made to the rental contract concerning the correct amount of gas in the truck and charged me additional fees. After complaining, i was told the additional charge would be refunded but instead another charge was placed on my account. It has put my account close to overdraft. I called customer service and was told that i would have to wait an additional 5 business days before the funds could be returned. Even though this new charge has already cleared on my account.

When I got the truck, it had 1/4 tank of gas. I was told that if I brought the vehicle back with more fuel in it than it had when given to me, I would be reimbursed for the difference. This information was volunteered to me by the agent. When I returned, it had 1/2 tank. The agent told me that there would be no reimbursement for the extra fuel. I had put $63/20 gallons @ $3.07/gallon. This nearly filled the tank. I then used about 1/2 tank. This amounts to 2/3 of the fuel that I bought. So, I was cheated out of 1/3 of the $63 = $21.00 worth of fuel.

All I can say is that the only good thing I got out of this was getting my stuff out of the uhaul storage and off the truck. WOULD NOT USE UHAUL EVER EVER AGAIN!!!

I went by the store and reserved a trailer with a ramp and an appliance dolly. On the day of the reservation I went to pickup the trailer and dolly only to discover that the trailer was there but there was no appliance dolly at all. The employee made a check and said "No one has any appliance dollies at all". I went to another U haul dealer and got an appliance dolly. The trailer without the dolly was no good at all. I needed both and I requested both when I made the reservation. Thank goodness another dealer helped me out. The next time I need something from U Haul I will go to the other dealer.

I rented the pick up truck to pick up some new furniture. When I got the truck it had dried mud all over the inside of the bed. Then they told me that the gas was at 1/4 of a tank. Which was true until I drove of the hill it was park on. Luckly I wasnt to far when I realized and went back to say something. I guess that is how they screw people over.

When we arrived to have the car dolly attached to the truck, we were told that the individual who knew how to attach the dolly had gone to pick up breakfast for the 3 employees and would be back soon. We learned when we arrived in Englewood, CO that the representative who attached our vehicle to the car dolly did so improperly. He was the one who was supposed to know how to do the job. Since this was our first experience with a car dolly, we weren't aware of this until we dropped it off in Englewood, CO. The personnel there explained the proper way to attach the car to the dolly and asked if it had been done that way. It had not. The straps on the tires were improperly attached. My understanding is that we could have had very serious consequences as a result. I am thankful that we made it to Denver safely and hope there is no damage to our vehicle as a result of improper installation on the part of the U-Haul representative in Tupelo. For my next rental needs, I'll consider a different company for my needs. Safety is of the utmost importance to me!

When we rented there was not 3/4 of a tank which was noted on the slip. We returned it with 5/8 and they said they were going to charge it to Sanford. Not correct.
