I understand that the day I picked up my truck was extremely busy, but that's no excuse to find garbage under the seats. The expectation is that the vehicle is clean when it's picked up and clean when dropped off. Simple things go a long way in terms of customer satisfaction.

Double check that email and phone number details are correct. My first booking for a covered trailer was cancelled by my daughter, who received the confirmation of the booking instead of me. She cancelled the booking because she hadn't made it and didn't know I had, and then I could only rent an open trailer.

When we ordered the unit two months in advance it was a great suggestion. The Calgary agents were very helpful and head quarters stayed in touch as we had to change our departure time/day from Texas. Upon return the check out was amazing. Just drive in, have the contract scanned/checked the mileage ask for an email and upon arrival at residence receive a clean bill. I am very impressed. Thanks to UHaul, you all! We also noticed many, many units of all kinds on the road.

The girl who served us was officious and rude. I realize it's just a truck rental outlet, but some basic manners towards the customer would go a long way. Invest in some customer service courses for your staff.

Staff knew what they were doing, were friendly enough, actually had the truck I reserved ready for me. This is a first, usually I arrive to find that somebody else received my truck and I now have to make due with something either too large or too small. Good location.

I originally booked online and requested the truck for 24 HOURS, from 2:30 to 2:30pm. I rec'd confirmation of the request. The day before, I called to see if it was possible to get a bigger truck. The lady at the desk said that I was scheduled to pick up the truck at noon and was only going to get it for 6 hours instead of the 24 hours I had originally requested AND I requested to pick it up at 2:30 not noon. It was a huge fight on the phone. The lady told me that I was bumped because they overbooked. I told her that wasn't my problem and why didn't anyone contact me regarding the changes??? Anyway, I contacted the head office to complain and in the end I got what I originally requested. DO NOT BOOK YOUR REQUEST ONLINE!!!!

Clean mirrors for best visibility. I was surprised to be phoned at 7:30am the next day, asking me where the van was. I had retuned it the same night and dropped the keys at the same location.

My biggest issue here is the lack of customer service that we received. I must say that the individual receiving the vehicle was very nice and easy to deal with. That being said, the staff in the building at the location were not very helpful. It almost seemed to me that they did not want to be working. When I explained the issue with AC not working, she just brushed it off and explained to me one of her experiences when she didn't have AC. As a customer that is not what I expected to hear. When I explained to them that the gas refill was not working properly. I showed her the paperwork that we were to put in 132 liters of fuel to replace the fuel level to 13/16th. I then showed her that when I filled up the tank for some reason it filled the tank for only 127L. If you take a look at the math; the tank size is 215L, I needed to fill up to 13/16th of the tank which equals 174L. there was 1/4 of tank full when we filled up (54L). So looking at the math 174L minus 54L equals 120 L to fill to get the tank back to 13/16th full. I put in 127 L and the tank is totally full (215L). There is something wrong with either the tank size or indicator. I hope that someone can give me a call back to explain how there can be such a variance on a tank fueling amounts by 41L. thanks.

No Gas in the Truck. Completely empty. Has to put gas in it. The 'yard attendant' could not speak English and was REALLY slow doing his job. Showed no interest at all. Not a good experience.

I booked my uhaul from Friday to Sunday but when I went to pick it up I was told I only had Friday to Saturday. Every person I talked to have me a different reason why there had been a mistake, none of which offered a solution to a problem that clearly was not my fault as I had confirmed with the person I booked with during the conversation to make sure she got the right days. No compensation was made, I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do... They could have offered free mileage or free rental cost or at the very least apologized for the misunderstanding... Instead everyone was extremely rude. Improve customer service on the phone and in person! I would have been far more understanding if everyone had not been so rude and quick to jump to "there's nothing we can do" when there was many options in order to fix the problem, even something as simple as "I'm sorry" ESPECIALLY since it was not my fault.

Usually I get unfriendly services when I go in to buy moving boxes or get hitch installation, but today the girl was super friendly and the services was really quick. I signed contract and the serviceman brought the truck fast. I was very impressed. Quite an improvement!

I booked a truck online for 24 hours, I got confirmation by email. When I came to the location I wait from 9 to 9:40, and than they agree to give me the truck only until 5:00 pm, les than 7.5 hours. It's not the first time that it's happening in this location. Few months ago I boked a truck for 3 days and then I got a phone call with a demand to return it after one day.

My small van rental was for the purpose of moving 35 book boxes from home to office -- a total distance of less than 5 kilometers. I was served quickly and efficiently at the U-Haul counter, had no problem of any kind with my vehicle, and returned it for my check-out in less than 5 minutes. I needed an extra hour to use the rental van beyond what I had originally scheduled, and the U-Haul representative extended my allotted time with no hesitation.
