Our experience was rather abysmal. We received no indication that the pickup location on our confirmation email was incorrect and that it had been changed to another location. Your call centre staff refused to allow us to pick up a vehicle available at the location the email confirmation directed us to, instead demanding that we drive across the city in rush hour to the other location. They hung up on us, were utterly un-solutions oriented, accusational and rude. They insisted that a voicemail had been left to tell us to go elsewhere. A voicemail was indeed left and stated the pick up time; in fact, I called back and spoke with a lady to change the pick up time. No change of location pick up was actually communicated. The staff at your Peigan location tried to help. And when we eventually arrived at Blackfoot, the staff were pleasant enough and efficient. No complaints on that front. However the ladies at the front desk confirmed they had no way to issue corrected confirmation emails with accurate pick up locations - this is a huge failing on your organization in a digital landscape. People expect an email stating "Your Confirmed Pick Up Location is x" to be accurate, and if not, amended when your organization makes internal changes after it is issued. For a final bit of fun, the back cab lock jammed while we were on a series of scheduled drop offs. We called roadside assistance, as instructed. They refused to come cut the lock, and again uhaul required us to drive across the city in rush hour so they could cut it off onsite... All round, you call centre staff require a serious attitude adjustment and your service levels and communications need to be brought into the current era. I get you have a bit of a monopoly on this industry, but that really is no reason for poor service.

Excellent experience from start to finish. From the friendly and professional young lady scheduling the truck pick up time, the courteous and prompt service at the service counter, to the gentleman (except for the bad joke...just kidding!!) prepping the truck in the yard and getting me on my way in a matter of a few minutes, thank you. The truck I had was new (4535mi), clean, and ran great and with decent fuel economy. Great job UHaul Blackfoot!!

I made an online reservation and I got a time confirmation which didn't work for me. So, I called and changed the location to get the truck at 11am and keep it for 6 hours. At the location, staff told me I could have it only for 4 hours and when I tried to explain the situation they were really rude. I will not come back to this place. Never

I ordered a truck and when I arrived the woman at the front desk informed me that they did not have a truck for me. She said she disn't know why the system allowed me to rent a truck and she did not apologize. I asked if she could call another location and she began to do so. She then asked if I wanted to use a van instead. I told her the van would not fit everything and it would be more inconveniet and expensive if I had to do more trips. The manager overheard and said "it's either you have the van or you have nothing at all". This remark and no apology was extremely unprofessional, especially from the manager. I have already warned others to stay away from this location and I will not be using u-haul in the future.

I'm still waiting for my $165.80 to be returned from the pre-authorization and for the actual charge of $67.24 to happen. Uhaul should not be doing authorizations unless the balance is immediately remedied.

My confirmed reservation was changed to "must return at 7am" instead of 24 hours and aggressively challenged that if I were to be late an extortionate charge in the thousands would be charged to my card Shameful business practise of double booking equipment. And trying to extort more money than confirmed reservation. never again!!!!

I understand that the day I picked up my truck was extremely busy, but that's no excuse to find garbage under the seats. The expectation is that the vehicle is clean when it's picked up and clean when dropped off. Simple things go a long way in terms of customer satisfaction.

Double check that email and phone number details are correct. My first booking for a covered trailer was cancelled by my daughter, who received the confirmation of the booking instead of me. She cancelled the booking because she hadn't made it and didn't know I had, and then I could only rent an open trailer.

When we ordered the unit two months in advance it was a great suggestion. The Calgary agents were very helpful and head quarters stayed in touch as we had to change our departure time/day from Texas. Upon return the check out was amazing. Just drive in, have the contract scanned/checked the mileage ask for an email and upon arrival at residence receive a clean bill. I am very impressed. Thanks to UHaul, you all! We also noticed many, many units of all kinds on the road.

Staff knew what they were doing, were friendly enough, actually had the truck I reserved ready for me. This is a first, usually I arrive to find that somebody else received my truck and I now have to make due with something either too large or too small. Good location.

I originally booked online and requested the truck for 24 HOURS, from 2:30 to 2:30pm. I rec'd confirmation of the request. The day before, I called to see if it was possible to get a bigger truck. The lady at the desk said that I was scheduled to pick up the truck at noon and was only going to get it for 6 hours instead of the 24 hours I had originally requested AND I requested to pick it up at 2:30 not noon. It was a huge fight on the phone. The lady told me that I was bumped because they overbooked. I told her that wasn't my problem and why didn't anyone contact me regarding the changes??? Anyway, I contacted the head office to complain and in the end I got what I originally requested. DO NOT BOOK YOUR REQUEST ONLINE!!!!

Clean mirrors for best visibility. I was surprised to be phoned at 7:30am the next day, asking me where the van was. I had retuned it the same night and dropped the keys at the same location.
