THANK YOU!!! This retailer needs some serious recognition!! I walked in at 10 minutes to 7pm and asked for a truck to get some stuff from a friends house. It was a very quick move and I did not need much time. She informed me that the "uhaul" part of the business was closed, but she would help me any way. She did not have to, but she chose to help a customer in need. KUDOS to the Cedar Park location!!

terrible customer service. rental was initially due back after 1 day. i called to extend it and got the main call center. i told them i'd drop it back either 6:30pm or the next morning. they said no problem, there was no one waiting on it. So, i arrive the next morning at the location and the lady there starts to complain to me that she was about to put out a code red or something because she couldnt get a hold of me. then told me that it was my fault (even though i just did what the call center told me to do) and told me what i should do in future which was to ignore the call center and make sure i get a hold of her and that it was a 'learning experience for me' I said, this is your company not mine - i cant be expected to know what your call center is telling me is wrong. she was rude and condescending. I was laughing to myself thinking that she actually expects me to 'learn' how to deal with uhaul.

If a customer makes reservations, make sure that the desired rental is available for them at the location they requested the reservation and honor what was requested originally. We were inconvenienced when we reserved a 26 foot trailer at a near by location, and got called the next morning and were notified the 26 foot trailer was no longer available and was offered a 20 foot trailer at a different location. When we arrived at the new location, they had no record of our rental and didn't have a 20 foot trailer available. The assistant manager was there and told the counter guy (Zachary Witt) to call around and find us a trailer...and to give us a 50 mile credit for being inconvenienced. The counter guys then found a 17 foot trailer available, it was 9 feet smaller than what we needed and had to take it. We sadly were not able to move everything with the rental truck that we originally would have been able to with the 26 foot trailer. When we returned the trailer at the designated time 9am the next morning, the counter guy was not able to figure out how to give us the 50 mile credit so we had to pay full price for mileage and were still inconvenienced because we still had two more bedrooms to move and no truck to utilize to complete our move. We were very disappointed with UHAL and were advised to contact the 800#, which I did. Then I was told since the account was not "notated" they could not offer me a refund of the mileage. The agent on the phone mentioned offering me a VIP voucher for a truck, supplies or services; however was not even able to honor that request either. He had to send an email the store manager to get all of this authorized and stated he was sorry for my inconvenience. Now we have to rent another truck to finish our move and we will not be using UHAL for that, because I feel like I was not properly assisted by your company. I am not a happy customer, and when I had told the assistant manager in the store that we reserved it online to make it convenient, he said online reservations do not guarantee anything. This is very discouraging to me, I have moved many times and have used a variety of moving companies, but have never been inconvenienced and disappointed like I am with UHAL. I hope this issue gets resolved, but I have little faith in your company anymore and will not encourage your services to anyone I know or for my family again.

There was a bit of a wait when I arrived and dropped off. Though there were three people in the building, only one was helping customers, assigning vehicles, etc. I was also disappointed that I wasn't able to leave my personal vehicle there while I used the truck for less than four hours. I was not informed of this before hand, and the sloppy handwritten note taped on the door wasn't very professional. The gentleman who helped me was very polite, though! Thanks, Sarah

Educate personnel on how to help their customers rather than how to make it easy on themselves. After renting on a round trip basis I was later told that I could not change the contract to a one way. I had to bring it back to them. Found out later that this was not so.

I was told one price and it was different when I went to pay. I also believe there are issues with mileage. I know it was incorrect and they say more that what was used. I was not happy with that.

The overall feel of the staff was that they were not very friendly nor were they organized. I had tried calling this location several times during the day and it went straight to the 800 number. I finally was able to make a reservation through another location. When I arrived, not only were they not immediately friendly, but they almost made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. Equipment was fine. Service was subpar.
