If your going to call people back and tell them they get a refund make sure they actually get one. What a waste of time to go back just to find out I was waiting around for no reason and the math on the original sheet was for $33 milage charge, and the final bill was for $16 milage charge...but the final total was $100 on both, that is some interesting math...

I was quoted on the phone .42c a km as there wasn't a truck located in St. Albert where I lived. When I got to the location in Edmonton the contract stated .61c a km, when I pointed it out they said that does sound like normal practice when customers have to travel to further locations, but there was nothing they could do as it wasn't in the notes from the call centre. When I asked to speak to a manger they said there wasn't one on duty. Very poor customer service. Moving is stressful enough, never mind to be charged much more than you think while travelling a longer distance to do so. I will most definitely not recommend Uhaul when questioned on moving.

On my first rent June 2013 I was good they are friendly ask me what else I need. But this my last rent oct 25 two days ago the guy never greet or say hi sorry to say the way he talk he want me to leave right away and in my receipt It was 10' truck but he give me the cargo van I was so disappointed because my kids are waiting till 10:30pm to finish everything instead I do it twice but I do five trips I was so tired and my friends too please specify on the receipt it is cargo van or truck by the way I think the guy his gay I'm sorry to say that. Have a nice day

Maintaine straps and ratched straps, poor condition to put on and off, front counter skills were good. Yard skills were crap. Not a mind reader and trailer hitch was not properly tightened ( hand tight doesn't cut it)

Not only the site. When I called to find drop off location as per instructions I was told a different address they did not even accept trailer. I think the drop off location should be of my choosing not Uhauls

We all know the end of the month is busy for people moving and U-Haul busy also. It would be helpful if staff would be a bit more patient and ask customers questions before just saying there are no trucks available. The website as well as staff were unclear and were difficult to get accurate information from. The rental was good value for the cost so I will use U-Haul again and I hope the website & staff are more user-friendly.

Service manager was challenging and treated me as though I was ignorant when I asked about he damage assessment process. No one explained it to me in Victoria. Specifically I wanted to know how the assessment is completed and how the assessment is updated at each location. The managers response to my question was that any damage that he assessed I would pay for. I stated that I had been informed in Victoria that the vehicle insurance I paid for $79.00 + tax would cover minor as well as major damage. I was also told that there was no deductible thus the coverage for minor scrapes and scratches would be covered. The manager then proceeded to scrutinize all of the X markes and pointing to damaged areas that he said I would have to pay for. I stated that the X in this instance was for several scrapes and scratches of a similar nature in one area. He stated that he was qualified to assess and not me and if the damage was assessed by him as being recent I would pay for it. I said that I would like to call the manager to further review his assessment and he walked inside. I proceeded to move boxes to the back and he returned and asked if I had the receipt for the boxes. I thought it was on the original receipt from Victoria he said it was not and that we would have to take the boxes back. In the end I was given a credit for 2 items I did have a receipt for and given the final receipt. This employee had a poor attitude with no regard for customer service. I will point out that I called this location and spoke with the manager regarding some of the short falls from Victoria and she apologized and extended my use of the unit for one day. I was very surprised and disappointed with the treatment I received considering the consideration and excellent customer service I received on the phone. I would certainly review your customer service process and behavior based attitude assessment with this employee. His attitude was unacceptable and he could have processed the boxes as credit as part of your customer service.

Agent was very rude when dealing with issues after the rental. Issue was eventually resolved with u haul customer service. Do check the truck and make sure everything (fuel level, truck condition, etc.) is the same as on the piece of paper they give you (not just as on the computer where you sign).

The gentleman who served me was fantastic and very personable. The truck was filthy and I had to stop and clean the windows from the inside as I could barely see out of them. The truck interior smelled like cigarette smoke and was also dirty on the seats. I was disappointed with that but otherwise my experience overall was satisfactory.

I WAS DELAYED FOR AN HOUR RETURNING THE TRUCK BECAUSE THERE WAS MORE STUFF TO MOVE THAN WE THOUGHT... I THOUGHT T WOULD JUST BE OK BECAUSE I SIGNED AN AGREEMENT THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED ACCORDINGLY BY HOW LONG I GET DELAYED IN RETURNING. The lady at U-haul told me they've been calling me because somebody was supposed to be using the truck that I used after me and I didn't answer my phone. Reason was: we got so busy moving things that's why I didn't hear it ringing. She told me she's gonna charge me for another 4 hours because of that. WHHAAT? well is that what it means to be charged accordingly? Luckily though, the renter that was supposed to be renting the truck after me has found another truck at another location, so the U-Haul lady decided not to charge me then... But what if that renter did not find another truck. Does U-Haul have the right to charge me another full 4 hours even if I got delayed returning the truck for just an hour? This is a lousy thing and I don't want this to happen to me again.

not good they want to get money as much as they can they dont undertand the word Care.every drop of gas count very rude.. he is care about the money not the truck that I rent. I put motor oil on the truck cus it was a bit burning oil if I dont put oil on it the truck think what gonna be happend???? they should think of it they just care how to get more money to customer they dont care about the truck that make money for the campany.... I dont care if I dont refund the money for oil that I put on ur truck :) all yours...... just be fair nextime to other customers dont rip off other ..... just be fair we want to leave too...sorry just want to say what is my feeling

The front counter man was very pleasant......but overworked..he seemed to be running and assisting all the clients that were returning equipment. His co-worker seemed to have 'disappeared' and was not around to help with returns.
