I reserved and paid for a dolly but I did not receive it. When I arrived to return the truck, I informed the sales associate. I asked if I would receive the $50 money back guarantee for the service error. I was told "No, but that was a good try. We will refund the dolly."

The original drop off location was to be on US 51 in Southaven. When we took the truck there, the guy came out and started harassing us telling us he didn't have room for the truck and to get it off his lot. We had to drive about 12 miles up the rode into Memphis, TN in order to drop off the truck. Again, not happy. It doesn't seem like U-Haul communicates very well with their dealers. It should not be this difficult and should definitely not be on the consumer to figure out these details.

Do a walk thru with the customer before the customer leaves. I rented a usual today and was told it was on 1/2 a tank and when the driver got to the destination she told me it was on 3/8 of a tank but it was too late so I had to bring it back on 1/2 a tank. It was my own fault for not checking it. When I bright it back on 1/2 a tank they registered it at 3/8 of a tank. It's a rip off.

We arrived at the location on Monday at 6:58 pm exactly. When we arrived, an African-American, male employee, in a very uninviting tone, stated, "WE'RE CLOSED, WE'RE CLOSED!" At the time, he was engaged in a conversation with an African-American female who was not a customer nor an employee. I replied to the very unprofessional worker that we were simply returning the U-Haul and needed information. He, still in an unwelcoming tone, stated, "IN THE BACK." I said "Thank you," and went outside only to notice that the woman he was speaking to, (who was driving a gray/silver Impala) had the entrance blocked and my husband could not safely drive the U-Haul in. I went back inside and informed the rude employee that we were blocked in and could not gain access to the "back." The young lady then, with a horrible attitude and mumbling, moved her vehicle in which she had left her two children unattended to. We finally parked the U-Haul and dropped the keys into the dropbox. The employee was still at work at this time because I could see him in the building. The next day, my mother was charged for another day's fee when she was told by the U-Haul in Greenwood, MS that she would only have to pay $40 extra dollars. Instead, she was charged $113.11! My mother has called the 1-800-468-4285 number only to be told that she WOULD NOT receive her funds back because she turned the U-Haul in on Tuesday at 6:30! This is absurd and a complete lie! We were there on Monday at 6:58pm! The surveillance cameras can prove that! The fact the my mother was mistreated and so was I is ridiculous! Nevertheless, that fact that U-Haul has a dishonest employee is even more surprising. If he was allowed to screw us over, I can only imagine what or how much he's stolen or been dishonest about with the company. During this complaint, I have had attempted to hold back tears but just can't because our family has used U-Haul in the past and been happy but this incident has placed a mark on my heart that is hard to remove. PLEASE give me Jacqueline Miller (662-392-8725) or my mother, Mary Miller (662-392-3376) a call at the above numbers at your earliest convenience. This is a matter that must be addressed! While the equipment, the 10ft. truck, was clean it smelled of smoke. I would prefer that it not smell like that. It would have been nice if the truck was sprayed or something.

The processing agent Danielle was great and very helpful. On the return the agent helping with parking the equipment and for the second time renting there he was not very helpful and actualling left it up to me to unhook and park the equipment. The same attendant on both ocassions. Again Danielle was very helpful.

my wife made reservations on line for a 20ft truck,a tow dolly, and 12 blankets. when we arrived they had no record of our reservations and we had to wait for about an hour to get everything sorted out. once we got everything done and got the truck and tow dolly to our location ,we found out that the blankets were not in the truck. I had to make another trip back to the U-Haul place to get the blankets which cost us more time and we were on a very stick time line because we had hired people to help us load up. we were really inconvenienced and it cost us more money. VERY,VERY POOR AND FRUSTRATING EXPERIANCE.

When I made the reservation, a rate of 284.99 including 700 miles was displayed. However, when I checked in online the day of, I got a message that I needed to pay nearly $900 at time of pick up. When I called the location they told me my reservation was set for $19.99 per day and .59 per mile. The manager explained that the computer will give the best rate of either 19.99 + mileage or $284.99 weekly with miles included. He had no explanation of where the $900 rate came from. Getting 3 different quotes was very alarming and created a lot of unnecessary stress on the day of my move. You should really improve the way you communicate with customers.

When i dropped of the truck the cashier was rude i offered to show him my contract to see how it was altered. He didnt bother then after they closed i receieved a charge for fuel which was incorrect. Went back for my refund was to the manager was on vacation and to call 800. 800# told me to go back to drop off .locatio.
