I was told by the person at the gas station, the truck was checked and ready to go. I checked to oil and was found it was two quarts low. I asked the attendant to add oil and was told that I had to go to a U-Haul service center to have the oil added. This is from a gas station attendant. A dash panel light was on when I checked the inside of the truck. I asked the attendant about the light and he replied it was ok to take the truck. Based on the above comments, I took the truck and started loading. Upon checking the truck later, I found that two dash panel light were now on. I called U-Haul and they sent a mechanic to check the dash panel lights. He called me after he was notified about the problems. He said not to move the truck as there might be serious problems. I started to unload the truck as he indicated that he might have to take the truck to his establishment for repair. His response was very quick and he solved the problems, one of which, was to add two quarts of oil. I was impressed by his response time and solving the problems. I now had to reload the truck (partial load) because of the above problems. I also had ordered a auto transport along with the truck. The auto transport was in a different location, about 50 miles away from the truck location and would not be available for another day. Also, did not receive the utility truck or the shipping blankets that I had asked for. Rest of the trip went pretty well.
