Customer reviews Large Mirror Box

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Worked perfect...maybe include packing paper or bubbles??

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

I had difficulty figuring out the width of the box and wondered whether it was possible to pack two mirrors in one box. In the end I wished I had ordered the protective corners for the mirrors, however it was not immediately available with this box.

Could be heavier cardboard like dish barrel.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars

I purchased a couple of these boxes to store some of my framed pictures/artwork in, for longer-term storage... Unfortunately, I've looked around and I can't seem to find a more appropriate, sturdier box or case to do so in. Anyway, for as much money as these boxes cost (-and I realize the prices are relative to people's individual budgets), I think the quality of the box material is quite thin and flimsy to hold such large and heavy cargo. The styrofoam corner pieces are also pretty cheap and don't fit very well over several framed corner edges, as the ad for these boxes would suggest. And, as most people have already written in these reviews, the cinching strap is hard to figure out and tighten up well. I ended up using some tape to hold it a bit tighter in place. I'm surprised that so many people found these boxes to work so well when shipping their items in them! -I would be QUITE nervous to ship anything breakable in them! I just think that U-Haul could bulk these boxes up a bit more with thicker cardboard and maybe even give them a waxy coating (like that of fruit-shipping boxes) in order
