I recommend this product only with a caveat. They do not fit every picture frame size so be prepared to cut and modify. Also the instructions on the strapping system are absolutely worthless. I threw the the binder strap away and just used some heavy duty twine instead

I've used it before, My only issue is getting confused about how much BIGGER the measurements are with the corners on, so my estimates on how many of each size were off.

What materials are required to pack a 42” x46” canvas painting

How much extra length and width does this add to the picture? I have a picture 42.5" wide - will it fit in the large mirror box with this kit? And this kit works with mirrors too, right?
These corner protectors (kit) will increase the width and height of the picture approximately 2". This kit does work for mirrors as well. As long as the picture/mirror is not more than 2.2" thick, this kit will work with the large mirror box. Thanks.
How do you tighten the strap? The strap is loose on the box, and the directions are not very clear how to tighten the strap. What do you mean by the loose end of the strap? Neither end is loose, once you fold the plastic tongue through the loop on the strap.
