Everyone worked hard. The unloading crew was younger & perhaps less experienced. That can account for more time & expense.

Hershel and his partner did a great job loading our POD. They were running a little behind because of an earlier job, but Hershel called to let us know, and kept us updated on arrival time, which I really appreciated. Once they arrived, they got right to work and were incredibly efficient. We had a lot to fit into the POD, including some large and awkward pieces, and they had everything loaded and secured in about an hour. They were friendly, professional, worked well together, and clearly knew what they were doing. I was very pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Herschel and Roy were great, made sure to reach out weeks in advance, very efficient downloading the truck, and always made sure to ask permission before doing something that could have effected our walls (i.e. made sure it was okay to rub the sofa along the ceiling to get it into the apartment). Respectful, hard working, and great professionals.

So happy with my service! Hershel communicated with me leading up to moving day and answered all of my questions. He was 5 minutes early and prepared to start on time. He and his partner were polite and focused! They listened to every request I had. I appreciated that they trailed right behind my U-Haul from the loading to unloading location because I was really nervous driving such a large truck. That made it much easier for me to switch lanes on the highway and get to the next destination timely. They did a great job and I have already recommended them to others. Thanks again

Outstanding service! I had such a wonderful experience hiring them a few years ago that I contacted Hershel as soon as I had my move in date secured. I can’t say enough great things about these guys! They are so efficient, hard working, and attentive to details. I was so impressed with their fantastic attitudes, and obvious intention to make our move as stress free as possible. Not only did they handle our things with care, they asked which rooms to take each item and even asked which direction we planned to arrange each piece of furniture so that they could place it accordingly. I had booked a few hours and explained that I was on a tight budget but was willing to extend for more time if needed. All I can say is they came in motivated to work hard and wrapped up a move that could have taken twice as long within my budgeted time. These guys are very thoughtful and communication was wonderful during every stage of planning and executing my move both times I’ve hired hired them!

My move took longer than expected and they were able to call the next client to adjust their scheduled time with no issues. Additionally, I moved from a house to a 3rd floor apartment. The movers were understanding and had a nice system between them getting all items safely loaded and unloaded with no damages. In and Out movers will be the first I call next time I move! These guys were fantastic!

My garage is a mess, I needed help pulling everything out of the garage so that I could clean it and repack. My request was for the movers to pull everything out and place in different sections of the yard based on content (a section for kitchen, living room, etc). It was important to space everything out so I could later repack and throw out items. It was too dark when they arrived to be able to set up different sections as I had hoped. Instead, the movers pulled all the items out and stacked everything tightly in one section as though they were packing a truck--again, not what I wanted! They were done by the time the sun came up. If they had stayed, we could have still sorted all the boxes as I had envisioned but they were excited to head to the next job. My 3-hour job ended 1-hour, but the work I hired them to do was not done. My understanding was that I would be charged for time worked-but no! They decided to charge me the full three hours despite failing to complete the job.

My couch didn’t fit through my front door so they lifted it over a 20 foot balcony. Herschel held the entire couch over his head while his partner ran upstairs and pulled it up. A great experience from start to finish. I paid for 2 hours, but it only took an hour to unload. They just dropped everything inside and left. They never bothered to unwrap anything or ask if there was anything else they could assist with. When I asked if they could put together a bed frame, they seemed very put off and claimed they couldn't locate the screws, even though I told them where the movers had placed them when packing. They just rushed out. I don't think I should have tipped, but I did give them a little something, which wasn't appreciated. I do not recommend this company.

Hershel and team were great! I especially appreciated the FANTASTIC communication. He texted right away to confirm the appointment which was reassuring. Hershel also helped me feel confident about the logistics. We moved from out of town and I was anxious about getting to the new home on time so Hershel wasn't waiting. I kept him informed of our timing and he was communicative and flexible. He reassured me that, worst case, if we were SUPER late, he'd come back AFTER his next appointment! Fortunately, that wasn't necessary but it relieved me of a lot of pressure. They were considerate, speedy, STRONG and professional. Clearly, they've done this 1,000 times in all different circumstances. Additionally, their friendly, reassuring demeanors and smiles made a stressful day a little more pleasant! THANK YOU, GUYS!

In and Out Movers were the smoothest part of my very stressful move. Hershel was in constant contact with me and flexible with timing to make sure we got on the road in time. The team showed up 15 mins early and were very professional and calm. The most impressive thing is their patience and dedication. I was convinced that we would have ti leave something behind, but the team was so thoughtful and logical in space utilization that it saved me a lot of time, work and stress. I was moving from a one-bedroom apartment to a nearby apartment. Hershel told me he does jobs of all sizes and brings more workers when needed. Tips - Describe the job honestly, don't misrepresent it. Tell the movers about big items and special challenges ahead of time so they can be prepared, don't surprise them on the day of the move. And have your stuff boxed or bagged and your truck on site and ready to load. Don't expect movers to wait around while you start packing or go to get a truck.
