Wow! Just Wow! We needed help unloading a full house size UHaul and shifting storage items on the same afternoon - a Friday - before rainy weather comes and get back to caring for a loved one in the hospital. Sandy responded immediately and sent her amazing team members Kristian and Jacob to save the day! They drove almost an hour to get to us and were speed demons at unloading while also exercising TLC with valued family antiques and heavy workshop benches and equipment. We could not have accomplished it without them. Thanks so very much!

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with this moving crew was deeply disappointing. As a senior citizen recovering from a recent back injury, I clearly communicated several important instructions multiple times —yet many of them were ignored. I repeatedly asked the movers to take two small plastic totes to my car because they were too heavy for me to lift. I also gave explicit instructions for them to move my electric grill to the dumpster, since I physically could not bend or lift due to my injury. Both instructions were disregarded. Several expensive furniture pieces were left unwrapped, even though I rented five dozen moving blankets. They used only one pack, leaving my belongings unprotected. On top of that, there were still multiple small items that needed to be loaded, but the movers left without checking in, asking if the job was complete, or confirming whether anything remained. Sandy great over text; kids who showed up were allegedly good but I experienced as impatient, overconfident, and careless. Better use your neighbors’ kids under tight supervision. Weird interactions with the safe move insurance. Resistant to loading the truck in a way that would fit everything, and said weren’t permitted to move electronics (TV, bike trainer) from basement unless they packed it, because of safe move. For example, tried to set a cherry wood piece on side in van over a floor fitting placing entire load on decorative top and bottom edges rather than keep upright then argued about setting it upright saying they’d have to take pictures and they had no responsibility if I wouldn’t load the truck their way Very rushed, texted to start two hours early and after being told no showed up an hour early anyway. Pivoted furniture edges directly on concrete ground to ease handling broke two edges off the bottom of China cabinet top by pivoting instead of lifting then rotating.

Chaz and Missy from Sandy’s Movers were phenomenal. They arrived early, got right to work, and never slowed down. They moved heavy wood bedroom furniture and a full-size washer and dryer out of storage, onto a truck, and into our new home 10 miles away — including carrying the bedroom set up a full flight of stairs — all without a single mark or scuff on anything. We booked them for three hours, but they finished in about two because they work with real efficiency and purpose. Missy is a force of nature; she may not look like someone who can handle big, awkward, heavy items, but she absolutely can — with strength, balance, and total control. Watching her and Chaz navigate doorways, tight turns and stairs was a masterclass in communication, anticipation, and teamwork. If you want a team that treats your belongings and your home with respect and performs far above expectations, ask for Chaz and Missy.

You want Sandy's Movers. From phone calls with Sandy (and follow-up summaries via text) where she listened attentively and shared ways she could help save us money on the truck usage, to Christian and Jacob who were focused, friendly, efficient, and fun to work with. Even when I found some last-minute additions to go, they reworked the packed truck to make it fit magically. Sandy's Movers are the definition of professional. It (almost) makes me want to move soon just to use them again.

This moving company was PHENOMENAL! I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with the communication from the owner, Sandy, from the time I booked moving help, to the day before, and the day of the move. Christian and Jacob were truly great! I was going to do this survey on our drive after they loaded the truck but I’m glad I waiting until we got to our destination in Ohio. We were very pleased with the two we had for unloading our 26’ U-Haul. They were polite, respectful and friendly, and they were patient with us when we had to decide which room to put things in. Jacob especially amazed me with his great strength, especially since our truck included some very heavy woodworking equipment. They also were helpful in explaining why so much of the load shifted and caused extra difficulty in safely unloading the truck (which convinced me of the need for changing loading crews for the second cross country truckload and making sure the lighter items are saved for on top of the load). I underestimated the time it would take to unload by an hour, but they had no complaints and kept at it until we were done, even sweeping the truck out when the truck was empty.

Sandy and her movers were terrific from the moment I booked things online. Her movers showed up on time, did what we asked them to do in the time we booked. One minor issue that does not warrant lowering their 5 star review is that they arrived with no tools to disassemble a bed frame - requiring me to get them several tools from my.nearby home. I would suggest their movers carry some basic tools (a Phillips screwdriver and an adjustable wrench were needed) for these jobs. I prespecified in advance that a bedset needed to be moved. This is my second move with Sandy’s team, they are phenomenal. The guys showed up 15 minutes early and moved my 1 bedroom stuff from point A to B in an hour and 15 minutes. Chris and Omar are extremely hard workers. They went non stop all day. We had an unusual move with a load, then stopped to empty some stuff and load more stuff at another house and then fully unload in storage. It was a long, hard day, but they killed it.

They were nice however they lacked professionalism. My move went over by 4 hours and by the end of it all the movers became lazy and did not care for my items properly at all! They did not cover items with provided moving blankets which caused almost everything that was not in a box to be damaged! My sleep by number bed, my table and chairs, couch and the list goes on and on! I was hugely disappointed because I looked at the reviews and thought I picked a good company. The movers took extended breaks and came back smelling like weed! I don’t care about breaks but then they acted like I was suppose to pay for it! They were nice people but at the end of the day I don’t care how nice you are if you damage things and don’t do your job properly!

As I wrote in a previous review, I appreciate Sandy checking with me to ensure that movers did their job before collecting payment code. Just a few things to work on. (1) They left a streak mark on my wall when placing desk. (2) If you finish the job early, check with me to see if I would like anything else before proceeding to close the transaction. I would have had them sweep the truck. No issues to report otherwise.

I have used several other moving services in the past and for communication, flexibility and professionalism, Sandy’s movers has been the best of them all! This move was a bit of a nightmare given the short time for packing and some delays, none of which were the fault of the movers. Sandy called to confirm the moving date and was flexible when my times had to change due to circumstances beyond my control. Jacob and Taylor worked so hard and I couldn’t believe what they accomplished in such a short time. It would have taken us days to do what they did in hours! I will definitely use them again for my next move and highly recommend them to others.

Lewis and Tyler were both Excellent! They arrived full of energy and ready to go, i could tell they were confident and that they would easily be able to handle my job. They were both good about remembering instructions about what was going where etc. They worked quickly, but very carefully. Taking great care going around corners with furniture etc. My job was finished in the 2 hour allotted time, with 10 minutes to spare. I'm Very happy and would definitely use them again.

The movers showed up 30 minutes late and did not bring any moving equipment or tools. The online order specifically stated that one of the items to unload was a bed that would need to be put together, but once they arrived the movers stated that they never assemble beds as part of moving. I could have made sure I had the tools available for assembly if they had given me notice any time between when I placed the order and the actual move. If the apartment complex did not have any hand trucks for use, they would have taken far longer than would be expected for a move of this size.

Movers were late coming from an unexpectedly long job and we were pushed up against the closing deadline for our storage facility, so that was stressful, but once they arrived they worked very efficiently and professionally and got done under the wire. Sandy was excellent with communication and very accommodating. I needed unloading help (of a medium uhaul trailer) after hours after a cross country drive. Two helpers showed up in a car without dolly which is semi fair but I used a different service to load and they brought a dolly with them. One worker was very nice and helpful the other was ready to go home as soon as he saw the contents of trailer but did work very hard to get it done. Booked minimum 2hrs but was done in 1.5hrs. Despite the one worker, I’d overall use Sandy’s movers again.

Courtland and Chris were a fantastic help. They loaded a 20-foot truck full of furniture and boxes in less than 1.5 hours. The truck was packed securely for the 8-hour trip to our new home. Everything arrived in one piece, and nothing was damaged. I cannot recommend Sandy's Movers enough! The day of the move was chaotic; uhaul forgot my blankets, straps, and my dolly that we had reserved, the uhaul app was down so it took us an hour to pick up the truck more than expected so we were late to meet sandy, and the uhaul ramp was missing the hook so it was unusable. Sandy was awesome. When initially creating my uhaul order I rented the uhaul for 24 hours. It asked if I wanted to hire moving help so I chose loading and unloading. It calculated the size of the truck and the square footage of my place and selected two men for 4 hours. But for some reason it chose the date as when I would be returning the uhaul. Sandy called me a few hours later and I explained the issue. She told me she would change the date and have the movers to me between 2pm and 230. They arrived promptly at 230. Uhaul gave them the wrong address even though they had it correct on my receipt. Which is not in any way the fault of Sandy company. The uhaul app-website is terrible in my opinion but oh well. So the guys get there and we immediately get to work. They tell me I should have requested and 3rd guy for the amount of stuff I had. I explained how the uhaul app was setup and honestly just went off it's recommendation. So I tried to pick up the slack of that 3rd person.

I found Sandy’s team thru U-Haul- a little on the pricier side but the reviews were excellent and no remarks about no shows (which is common with Baltimore movers apparently) so I was happy to pay for the peace of mind. Sandy called right after booking to confirm, again the night before to confirm, and 1 hour before to update me on the arrival time of her team. This was sooo awesome and really removed a lot of the anxiety I was having already with moving Booked for two hours of help unloading into a one bedroom apt on a third floor walk up. 1 stair case straight up three flights. Literally could not have done it without Sandy’s team!! They were incredibly quick and efficient, and very careful with my belongings. I sincerely hope I don’t have to move again for a long time, but when and if I do I’m definitely calling Sandy back.

She obviously cared about doing a good job and constantly encouraged the two workers she brought to do the best job they could. When I expressed concerns that the hand truck may damage a heavy cherry wood jewelry cabinet, they decided to carry it rather than cart it. Their heart was in the right place, but somehow that piece did get an edge dinged on something. They worked quickly and got the job done. One caution...I had asked Sandy in advance if they needed me to provide hand carts and she said they would bring their own. They showed up with only one hand cart. Luckily I had one that they ended up needing to get the job done in the 2 hours allotted.

When my truck broke down she set up a time to make sure she was there to finish the job first thing in the morning. Our 26ft truck was packed to the brim and she helped sort through what was house and what was for storage with ease. Her team was quick and strong and they worked like a well oiled machine. Fast, efficient and made sure my nightmare move ended on a positive note. When I have to get my items out of storage and into a house I am only calling Sandy. I know she will get the job done with care and that none of my belongings will be damaged in the process. I can't say enough about how incredible they were with being reliable, prompt and strong enough to handle the heavy furniture I physically couldn't.

Sandy and her crew absolutely saved the day. I called some movers from my starting destination and they threw our belongings onto the truck. Found out they were hired same day from Craigslist, not actual movers. We had to go so we just dealt with it. Used moving help again for our ending destination and Sandy kept communication open and was available when we needed her. She helped us unload a 26ft loaded truck at 2 different destinations. First at the house to store necessities and then reload the truck up safely for all the belongings that went to storage. Then when the truck ramp broke, first they tried to fix it because it looked like it was just off the track. But it was bent from previous abuse and she stayed with us until the repair mechanic came. I will not be hiring any other mover in the area. Sandy and her crew are absolutely above and beyond as well as unloading quickly. 100 out of 10 stars.

I loved my experience with Sandy's Movers! First, Sandy was very communicative and flexible with me when I booked. I had to move in the morning due to my Uhaul order, so she moved a job around to accommodate me. She also planned the jobs well because I ended up needing the movers for almost another hour--which they were able and willing to do because of her scheduling. Sandy also gave me a very fair price when I had to add the unplanned time. My guys Michael and Devlin were FANTASTIC! They were everything I could ask for. I had them for four hours and they took maybe one break. They were incredibly hard-working. Those guys were punctual, efficient, friendly, and professional. They asked me a ton of questions about my preferences, and they received feedback very well too. They were easy conversationalists but they didn't try to take up time talking. If I were moving tomorrow, I'd hire them again in a second.

Amazing service from the beginning to end. Booked last minute due to a chaotic move and received the smoothest service. Arrived on time, handled large loads , packed the truck perfectly enough for 1 trip only. The 2 gentleman were originally scheduled for a 2 hour job and it took longer but they remained professional and productive the entire time. Thank you

Sandy called to confirm immediately upon scheduling. She also reached out shortly prior to the move date. I had her phone number to text directly so I knew I could reach her. She assured me they would be there when they agreed to be and even asked to come 30 minutes early if it would suit us - which it did! They arrived promptly, were very friendly and professional, and wow, they worked fast! We paid for two and had four workers. We would definitely use again and refer to friends.

I would definitely recommend Sandy’s Movers to anyone that’s looking for moving help. I booked Sandy’s Movers at the last minute and they were able to fit me in and accommodate me as well as the other moves they had scheduled. We thought that we would need two trips to get everything that we needed to move into a U-Haul we had rented, but they fit it all in one trip and even hauled our mattress for us in their pick up truck because it didn't quite fit in the U-Haul. Everything arrived and was unpacked carefully. Nothing was broken or damaged in the move. Their kindness and customer service is top notch. Very thankful to have found Sandy's movers. I had to move in a pinch due to an emergency and without Sandy's movers there would be no way this could of been done. These guys handled everything with care and made sure every need was completed. Even assisted with putting a bed together in new home. Well her movers broke my 75 in TV and refuse to acknowledge the fact it was their fault. You can see exactly where it was dropped and the TV is completely unusable. They also broke a porcelain doll that belonged to my mother. They are not careful with your things and my things were constantly being dropped.

I booked the night before my move, and they called me about 20 minutes after I booked to confirm and give me a que. They kept in communication with me and showed up. They moved all my stuff in about 30 min, I only had quarter of a 10 foot uhaul. I would definitely book with them again!!

She always followed through and even called to remind me of something I needed to do before going to my storage unit. They were on time, efficient, courtious, helpful and went above and beyond. New or not Sandy's Movers is a fined tuned company and they even anticipated some of my needs. They did way better than the company in OH that I didn't get from Uhaul Moving Help.
