  • BEWARE!!!! TERRIBLE OWNER!!! HE IS FAKE NICE!! DO NOT BE FOOLED LIKE ME!!! They cost me thousands of dollars in repairs and replacement of a $1200 TV, $1500 long dresser plates, dishes, glass holes in the wall scratch floors. Your precious belongings are not safe with them. RUN, RUN, RUN!!! DO NOT BOOK THEM! They do not hire professional movers! Very, very low budget company! Will only communicate with you until they get paid and then they will drop the ball!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! They are extremely unprofessional! I usually never write a review, but I felt the need to let people know not to waste their money to run, run, run as far as you can because this is not a legitimate company with professional movers. DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE LOW COST!

  • BEWARE!!! This company cost me thousands of dollars in home repair and TV replacement including my dresser and a TV that cost a total of $1200. They did not send professional movers. In fact, I do not believe they ever moved anything before as they did not handle any of my belongings with care. They put holes in my walls destroyed the floor with scratches, threw down my boxes, which broke things inside of them, including fragile, cups , plates and bowls. When speaking to the owner, he proceeded to act like he wanted to make things right but first I needed to give him the payment code so he could pay the first set of guys who did a terrible job and send out new guys who could help me move the rest of my belongings. Please do not make the mistake of giving the payment code before disputing. He knew by me giving the payment code I could not dispute anything and now I am having to do thousands of dollars in repair as well as replace the TV and God knows what else is broken within my boxes.

They finished the job early and even organized my belongings to ensure everything would fit and be accessible at the final destination. Ten out of ten, would book again - request Jameson if you can!

  • We were the ones who carry, they showed attitude and one mentioned cramp, also they were very lazy and didn't even show carefull handling, one of them was breaking the stuff and asked him many times not to drop on hit the stuff, they were handing us the boxes to carry for them, very bad experience, and will not hire the company ever again

  • WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I hired movers so that I wouldn’t have to do it myself. I ended up having to help and unload half of the truck. The son was genuinely great, willing to help and was trying to mitigate with his father. The father DID NOT help much - he would only move (ie throw stuff in the truck bed) while saying expletives at me. Was rude through and through. He essentially threw our mattress on the dirty ground, and when I called them out, they were getting upset. I wish the son nothing but the best, and that he finds someone who doesn’t put him in such bad situations. I loathe people who do not tip with all my core - I only tipped the son.

  • We hired two movers for 3 hours and only one mover showed up initially. A second mover did eventually arrive over an hour later, which I understand things happen but I had to reach out to to business to find out what was going on. Movers did a decent job and got everything moved with the 3-hour time allotment in the end.

  • For some reason the Uhaul website did not schedule us for correct day. I spoke with the fine folks at Boom and they showed in the evening up to save the day!   • This was our first time using Boom LLC. The owner Brandon was very polite and courteous. We kept in contact because my arrival time at my customers buried. They were very understanding and helped out 100. Leo and Fernando, or excellent. We are dealing with a unique situation, a son moving his dad, dad‘s 90 years old. Couldn’t ask for a more courteous and professional team. We will use Boom LLC for all our future needs in the Los Angeles area. We tipped them in cash

  • Fantastic experience. We were in a bind and needed assistance unloading at our destination. Wishing minutes, we were informed that a crew could meet us in 90 minutes. The team arrived right in time. They were professional, and efficient! They unloaded our truck in less than an hour.

  • Movers were 3hrs late arriving at 6pm, and 1st Big and Bulky item was a grey recliner that they couldn't get upstairs. My friend and I were able to do so. Also because of their young age my wife and friends basically had to instruct on which items to unpack so that things were orderly. We also had to assemble the bed frames as the movers didnt bring any tools and also my friends and I ended up bringing in one third of the boxes ourselves just to be able to complete the job in 3hrs. Boom was the cheapest and it showed.

  • The company confirmed the start time before the day of service. The movers showed up on time and worked diligently through the entire time and completed all work within the scheduled time. They were very careful moving the furniture and boxes. No damage occurred to the house, furniture or other. I would definitely use them again.

  • My movers Raul and Trayvion were very professional! I was running a little late but they were very communicative and gracious. When they saw the job I had for them, they said they could finish in about 30 minutes and they were spot on! They let me know how I could best help when I asked them, and they treated my possessions respectfully. Great job! Additionally, this company is much less expensive than most of the other options and I'm happy I went with them!

  • The movers had a good attitude and tried their best but were inexperienced with moving. I had to move things and help the movers load up the truck. The company never reached out to confirm details of my move, I had to do that independently prior to my move to confirm. It appeared to me that the owner of the company finds youn inexperienced kids to move and doesn’t equip them with things like training on how to move, moving dolly or anything to make a move efficient and smooth. Brandon should invest in training and equipping his people with skills to make mores efficient. The movers did the best with the skill set they had to work with.

They were careful to load my UHaul UBox in a way that protected my fragile items and they even helped wrap some of the items that needed more protection, like glass, which was very helpful! All of my items arrived undamaged. The movers were very efficient and very friendly. Would definitely hire them again!

  • One of the movers was excellent. He was a hard worker and was knowledgeable and friendly. The second worker was texting a couple times during the job and did not provide the same effort or care as his co-worker. A few of my items were damaged with minor scratches. However overall for the type of move I needed, I would recommend the company. The process was easy and both were on time.

They were flexible with the time since the movers I got from our place of origin was 3 hours late, and they were able to move our appointment time accordingly. Downside; they never gave me a callback when I originally called them a couple of days before our move, and that one of the movers forgot to hand the bolts and screws of our bedframe back to us. Tipped movers in person as they were still very helpful.

  • Our first time hiring professional movers. We were expecting big and macho men in uniforms. Boy were we wrong! Tayvion and Raul looked like young men in their 20s, but boy were they strong!   • After a bit of a rough start we ended up having 2 movers come the next day who were helpful, quick, and friendly. While not as prepared or experienced as other movers I've had in the past, they were great at getting the U-haul unloaded in a quick and efficient manner.

  • The crew showed up a bit late, and we were not able to load everything in the time we had reserved. I felt as though the movers could have had a bit more pep. They would carry some boxes down and then we wouldn't see them for 5-10 minutes. This was my first time using movers so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, the crew we hired from a different company to unload at our destination got it done in half the time, despite not needing dollys and going upstairs, and were very friendly and helpful, which made the mornings services from Boom seem a bit lacking.

  • WARNING! They dropped my shelf on the stairs broke the step bullnose and refuse to fix or do anything. Also they showed up late and when I showed them proof of their arrival time they agreed to keep working to complete the agreed time, but than left 15 minutes early..   • While their communication over text was fine, I did not feel our furniture was in good hands during the unloading process and transferring it from the loading zone to the apartment. Our mattress bag was ripped, heavy boxes were placed on top of ones marked as fragile, and our new apartment floors were scuffed and scratched from them dragging a 4 wheel cart that they had locked the wheels on once it was wheeled into the apartment. Several items were dropped multiple times from the Dollie’s as I watched them and the lack of apologies made it feel the whole job was careless for them. Wish I could say it was a better experience

  • When I booked the movers I received a follow up call the same day to confirm the scheduled time. The dispatcher was communicative and responsive, which doesn't seem to be a priority of moving companies I worked with in the past so this was reassuring. The two movers showed up 10 minutes before the hour and were so kind. Both moved my things that were from a 1 bedroom in less than 2 hours and helped place the heavy furniture in the designated rooms. I would highly recommend this moving company.

  • I’d never use this company again. 11 AM appointment For two movers was booked two weeks prior. I get a call the night before asking if they can move till 1230 I said yes, but not a minute after because I have a schedule to keep. Around 130 I get a call from a mover saying he (singular) is on the way over. For the next three hours, they screwed around trying to find a second person to come help with the move. Absolutely unacceptable. Big waste of my time. Joe, the mover was Helpful but this was a two person job. The company left him hanging out to Dry. First of all they made it seem as though it was my fault. I should’ve gone with somebody else. They were the low bidder , but I got what I paid for.

  • The helpers were absolutely incredible and worked very hard to ensure we got the task done through adversity (at one point they were stuck in the elevator at the storage facility, but got right back to work as soon as they got out) The only main issue I had was the lack of professionalism in the communication from the corporate office when I pointed out the fact that some items had been left out and not brought down and packed as part of the moving help. I had to go back on my own and carry down the stairs the items and then proceed to reorganize my storage unit by myself to pack these items in that had been left out. The responses I received from the company was bad. They gave me an attitude and made excuses and tried to tell me I didn’t know what I was talking about. Rather than offering remediation or support they gave me an attitude and said it wouldn’t be possible to pack the stuff which is why it was left out and not moved (not true because I packed it by myself after)

Carlos did an excellent job of leading the show from strapping it into the truck to caring up the stairs. They took very good care of my item. I would have given them 5 stars had he not showed up to my home smoking. I do not allow smoking in my home and several family members have asthma and are very sensitive to cigarette smoke. When they arrived at the second location, as soon as they opened the door to their vehicle I could smell marijuana. I have no problem with what they do on their own time, but I think it is very unprofessional to smoke anything when you know you are going to be going into someone's home. My family called me to complain of the house smelling like smoke. I really would have loved to give them 5 starts all around but I think you need to be aware that many people will find this offensive.

  • I hired two movers for a 4 hour block but several things made the experience less than satisfying They showed up 30 minutes late I provided ratchet straps for safe packing but they ignored them and overall packing was a bit careless They finished unloading in about 2 and a half hours but when I asked for help assembling a bed frame which I assumed was reasonable with time left one mover said he didnt know how and the other claimed that bed setup isnt included and they usually get paid more for that. It felt like an excuse to leave early despite still being on the clock The heavy lifting got done and nothing major was damaged but I expected more professionalism and clearer communication. If you are hiring them I suggest setting detailed expectations in writing especially if you are paying for a block of time

They dinged walls and doors at both my old and new house several times while moving furniture through doorways, and swinging a ratchet strap around inside. The company said they were unable to provide that but offered for two guys to stay for 5 hours and then two more show up at the five hour mark and stay for three hours.   • Worst experience moving. The movers were lazy and we constantly go out to their car. Had to constantly keep them on track and give guidance. They have zero experience packing a truck. With the help of my friends we ended up packing 60 percent of the truck as well as moving stuff out of the house. The movers only worked for 4 hours but got charged for five.   • I would have rated them a 0 but you can’t and they did come out same day, last minute. But, these were the worst movers I ever had. I’ve moved a lot, and it never takes more than 2.5 hours to load and 1 to unload. It took 4.5 hours. I put blankets on everything I wanted wrapped and they kept trying to load stuff without wrapping them. My mom saw one of them carrying an empty Walmart box to load. They asked us if the closet shelves went (they were built in and permanent) and the curtains, which were clearly custom for the house. We had to keep reminding them of big items that were right in front of them to which they replied they didn’t see them. This was in addition to a lot of breaks and a lot of standing around. Then because they took so long, their boss insisted on the payment code even though they only loaded, not loaded and unloaded as I paid for. Then this shady dude wanted me to pay $200 for them to unload. Because they took so long I had to rent the truck for another day.

  • Moving is very stressful to start, so you're hoping for strong leadership in conducting unloading in this case. I packed everything and coming from 4 hours away. The two gentlemen were pleasant yet could have been a bit more attentive to having a plan on how to move quickly as a team and on their game. It didn't help that they accidently broke a large dresser mirror and I was provided no compensation since I packed it. They did finish in the 2-hour time frame.

The person behind all these, sits at home and calls these guys that you can find at home depot anyways.
