• Jay Hilo's team came to our rescue when the night before our move Moving express tools cleaning services cancelled on us with almost nightmarish communication!! You can imagine our distress 12 hours before our move, we booked Jay Hilo and that was the BEST DECISION EVER- Great experience working with Josh and Daniel. They were professional, had great attitude, helped optimize the space in our ubox and were great with making adjustments. I would highly highly recommend them for any packing and moving needs. They were real lifesavers and a god send!!

• The guys were extremely helpful in maneuvering through all of the rooms and really helping maximize space on my truck. I had a lot to pack and very little help. I already knew I couldn’t do it alone, but they truly lightened a pretty heavy load. I’d definitely hire this team again.

• The movers worked very efficiently, transferring items from the storage unit to the truck. At the same time, three other movers were helping a nearby couple. The difference was clear and shocked me. Our movers didn’t waste a single minute, while the other team moved slowly and inefficiently.

• All my stuff came damaged. So many items were chipped scratched, dents and bent. When I raised an issue with u haul , they said loader did not load properly and did not use rug pads at all.

• Communication was prompt and kept me posted on the time of arrival. They arrived on time and did a walkthrough of the stuff to be loaded to 20 feet u-haul truck. They completed loading all of the items by 2 hours without any damage to the walls or the furniture. Will definitely reach out to them for future help.

• The 2 helpers were good. They loaded the truck in good time. My only concerns are that upon unloading the truck there were 3 pieces of furniture that was damaged. My nephew was helping them with loading so I can't say it was definitely your helpers that did it but I can say it was between the 3 of them not stacking the furniture right. Otherwise it was a successful move.

• I requested movers for 1-130PM, I was called at roughly 130PM that movers wouldn’t be there till 3. Movers showed up at 3 and were only needed for 45 minutes so the 2 hour payment is something I’d like to discuss. Additionally during the move the movers broke my dresser and components of my bed frame. I would like to speak to someone to discuss reimbursement for my damaged items and discuss the payment for the movers. Call me asap please.

• Josh & Delvon were the 2 person 2 hour team to load our 2 bed 2 bath apt unit & some items from storage close by. They were late by 30 minutes, arriving at 10am. After their arrival though, they were polite, respectful towards us the customers. They were efficient and quick with moving the household items down the corridors, elevators and into the U-Haul, without any damages to anything. They did not make any fuss about going to the storage unit close by to pick up and load additional items into the truck. Josh and Delvon are smart, friendly, strong, effective, efficient movers. Speed of moving 9 on 10 (they are uncle-nephew, they can get chatty). Punctuality 7.5 on 10. All other criteria that anyone can think of, I happily and gladly give them perfect 10 on 10s. They were not clock watchers & offered to load more things from storage, but due to my time constraints, I stopped exactly at 2 hours. I'd hire Josh, Delvon, & Jay Hilo Last Second Movers again.

• We settled the delivery time is 10 am, but they came at 11.30 am. They came late, but honestly, they did a great job moving my stuff. They protected my fragile stuff using the pads and stocked the box really well to save space. The total time for 2 boxes moving was around 3 hours and 30 minutes. Just for other customers to have a sense of time that you would need.

• We booked them to unload a 16 ft truck. Our townhouse has a set of steep steps going into the house and a set of stairs with a tight corner going up to the 2nd level. The movers were excellent - quick, very careful with the furniture, no dents, dings, or scrapes on the furniture or the walls and floors. They were very professional and kind. I will definitely be booking them again.

• Movers arrived around the time quoted. They were very good with loading the furniture. The unloading process went differently. One mover was on his A game, the other mover not as zealous during the unloading process, which may have contributed to us having to pay for an additional hour. We also pitched in to help, to get the job done at a reasonable time. If not for that it would have gone smoothly.

• They took apart my bed but didn't keep track of the hardware so upon delivery the bed and mirror to the dresser are not together. They left the dresser in the upstairs hallway without the drawers. When I tried to put the drawers back in they no longer fit. Despite all the boxes being labeled they refused to put them in the floor they belonged and left everything on the main floor of the town home including furniture that belonged in the basement. They advertised that they disassemble and reassemble but looked at my elliptical which can be taken apart and refused to take it to the basement. My piano is coming and there's no place to put it. The 2 man crew informed the owner upon arrival that it was a 3 man job. Hours later no one else arrived. I was charged for additional hours that it took the 2 man crew to complete the job. I ended up helping unload along with my son. Would NEVER use them again.

• The movers showed up 1 hour late & left 1 hour early. There was little to no communication about when they would arrive (scheduled for 10;30pm & showed up at 11;30pm). There was absolutely no communication that they left. They literally left my couch in the stairway & left with no communication. When I called the supervisor he claimed it was because the couch would not fit through the door. We were able to get the couch through the door within 5 minutes of them leaving. The only thing they did was move my big furniture. Everything else was done by friends & family members. I did receive a refund for the last hour since I paid for 4 hours & they were only there for 3. They also brought no packing materials even though I paid for packing (they also did no packing).

At this point the customer has a extra man that he wasn't charged for and the job still took longer than the 2hrs he was talking about. • The movers did not show at the designated time even though I called the night before to confirm everything. By the time I got hold of the movers some 40 minutes past the arranged start time I had half of my truck unloaded. I was told that the helpers were unable to find the location address and were trying their best to get there. It appeared to me that by the time the did get there I would have had the truck mostly unloaded and their help would not be needed. I called back and told the company rep that due to them being so late I would not need their help. The gentleman was very apologetic for the mix up. He assured me I would be refunded my full amount as a result. Would you please acknowledge that refund is forthcoming. Thank you.
