Ken and John were AWESOME!!! My husband and I both highly recommend Dependable Movers! They came prepared to work in the heat and didn't finish until the job was done! We are so very grateful! Also, we scheduled them for 2 hours and they got a 26' Uhaul truck FULLY loaded in under 2 hours! I would choose Dependable Movers again and highly recommend if you want the job done quick and right! We have used these individuals before. This is our second time and they did great work both times. They were prompt and worked their butts off getting everything in the truck and unloaded where we asked them to. They communicated with us the entire move. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

It was one of my most terrible moving experiences. They were unprofessional, rude and lazy. They were not able to finish less than 4 hours job in over 5 hours. Charged me overtime at a much higher rate. We're on their phones half the time or sitting idle and not working. Their boss was not present in person and tried to intervene a couple of time but felt helpless. Don't even think about using their company for moving. I picked them up based on their reviews but after this i don't believe reviews.

When I made this appointment I advised that I was moving a full 3 bedroom house I didn't realize that you only sent two people to do all that in a limited amount of time and if they were done or not they left. Also had expected to be able to fit everything per uhauls estimate in 4 pods. Good thing I ordered 2 extra, used all that and still filled a pickup truck to the brim. There was alot of wasted space aperently in pods and did not take care to wrap furniture with moving blankets to ensure the contents arrive safely. A bit disappointed with that but they did work hard and extremely polite. I tiped cash.

These people failed to load the truck properly and as a result significant damage was done to our furniture. The company that unloaded the truck commented on how terrible of a job this crew did. They put lightweight, fragile boxes on the bottom and heavy boxes on top, smashing valuable items. They failed to tie down the load or secure it properly. During the loading we noticed one mover spent much time in the bathroom and on his cell phone. The experience was terrible, and it reflects VERY poorly on U-Haul. This group should never be used. We will be discussing the damage with U-Haul, and we expect them to take serious action.

The moving team was fast and efficient. Ended up with a lot of time leftover due to their hard work. The only criticism would be the communication. I think it could be improved upon. They were right on time, Very courteous, and did their very best to take good care with our possessions as they handled them. I paid for 5 movers as I knew I had many furniture items that might be difficult to get upstairs into the correct rooms. Unfortunately, when they showed up, I discovered 3 of them were teenagers that needed to be supervised and regularly failed to follow repeated, clear instructions, and were often idling. Several furniture items were disassembled to make it easier for them to move, but only one was attempted to be reassembled (with parts missing), with the others being left in pieces in various incorrect rooms (I've found pieces of one bed frame in 3 different rooms and I'm still missing pieces of it). When they left, several small items were still on the l truck and heavy boxes and trash were still in the front yard. I am going to have to hire another moving company to help sort out everything and get items into the correct rooms. The one good thing I can say is that they did eventually show up and did unload enough from the truck that I was able to return it on time.

Incredible experience. I was nervous to hire through the site without explicit statement of background verification, but I'm very happy I pulled the trigger. I hired 2 helpers but only the owner made it. His assistant no showed. That wasn't a problem though, because he did the work of 2 workers on his own. Not just that, but he did it in the pouring rain, up a sharp hill, and finished like a champ. This is the guy you want helping you.

If you like ur furniture, do NOT hire this awful company! 2 guys were over an hour late yet the 3 hours I hired them for still began at the scheduled time even though they did not. It was hot outside but no excuse for the way they handled my furniture. They rammed furniture into walls causing damage to walls & furniture. Put in the truck with no blankets on top of each other & quite literally threw my stuff around. While unloading the truck I saw every piece of wood furniture was ruined, scratched, dented, marked up, my new couch ripped in two places. I'm not talking a few scratches or a few dents, I'm talking ruined. Even my washer and dryer have huge dents & scratches. It was awful, I let them know about the damage and showed them (as if they didn't already know), they told me I had to call U-Haul and tell them. NOT TRUE. Uhaul and Moving Help say they are not responsible, to contact Dependable Moving directly as they are responsible. Only they don't even care enough to respond.

Wow.Were these guys fantastic,friendly and efficient.They called telling me 45 minutes they would arrive and sure enough almost to the second.My regret is I can't remember their names to recommend to everyone..I wish I could take them with me to Wisconsin to unload the truck...Ty guys.

When I placed the order, I received a message indicating that I would hear from the moving helper within 24 hours. However, I needed help the same day, as I indicated in my order. I wanted to verify that the Moving Helper would be able to fulfill my same-day moving order but could find no phone number or email address to reach the helper anywhere on the site. I even Googled the Moving Helper (Dependable Movers from Florissant, MO.) Because of our time urgency, I found other help. I need a refund of my payment - $305.95. How do I get that refund?

Kenith answered the call for a same day booking and despite already having work for the day, managed to fit in our piano move on very short notice. The movers were polite, friendly, professional and were prepared for the job. We plan to keep their information and use them again if needed.
