The guys that helped me move were absolutely wonderful and I would hire them back in a minute if I ever need to move again. I was informed that the help would arrive with their own Dollies for moving, this was not the case and my personal dolly was used. Several items were damaged as a result of both individuals not having dollies resulting in one helper carrying items to help speed up the process, and subsequently dropping said items. Overall movers were helpful and communicated their delayed start, but I was disappointed to see the damaged furniture and items in boxes due to them clearly being dropped.

Extremely disappointed with my experience. My brand new dresser was broken during the move and what made it worse was the lack of care and accountability from the two movers. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. I understand accidents happen, but this left a very bad impression and I would not use this company in the future.

We initially loved our movers due to their punctual arrival, friendliness, and how quickly they moved our belongings into our new place. They even had great attitudes about having to do it up 2 flights of stairs. We tipped them well because of this. Over the next day or so after they unloaded our moving truck for us, my husband and I started noticing damage that was caused by our movers to both our unit and our neighbor's unit front. They had knocked something they were unloading into our neighbor's unit number, breaking it and causing it to fall to the ground in segments. We also noticed a huge chunk knocked out of our front door jam and large scuffs on the wall of the guest room where they put all of our belongings during move in. Our unit is brand new on move-in and none of these damages were present before our movers began moving our belongings into our new place. Unfortunately, these damages were noticed after we thanked them and gave them a generous tip, which would've been less

Moving sucks... But they made it better! Owner was amazing about communicating, and graciously rescheduled without penalty when Uhaul didn't have a truck. The two movers, Ty & Travon were absolutely amazing!!! They were polite and professional. The two of them has moving down to a science working swiftly and efficiently to load & unload the truck. This included playing Tetris with the furniture to fit everything in the elevator. They were careful with all of our fragile items and took excellent care to protect the furniture. These guys made a move that would have taken us all day to only 4hrs (including loading and unloading). Things took a bit longer than planned due to our first Uhaul dying on the side of the road, making us an hour late. They were very patient about it. I can't say enough good things about this company and their movers...if we ever move again, they are who we would use to help. Thank you guys for making a rough move so much easier, we truly appreciate you!!!

My U-Haul did not have a dolly. I borrowed one for the unload portion.They should bring one for just in case. I was also surprised they didn’t have furniture straps. It would also be nice if they used blankets to protect the furniture from the metal Dollie’s and carts. They were careful and wonderful but just a few thoughts.

Hired movers 8-10 times in my life and had some good ones, several bad ones (Collage Chunks were the absolute worst), but KMW - William and Ethan - were in a different league. They truly treated our stuff like they were moving their own. Thought of things we didn't, volunteered to help out with things we wouldn't have felt comfortable asking. These gentlemen were FUN to work with. Their attitudes were amazing which made a long, stressful day a little less stressful. The day of the move they were early & beat me to my storage unit in Fernandina Beach, FL. They worked their tails off from the time they got there, where they had to re-wrap some pieces, until they finished the job at my 3rd story apartment (no elevator) in Kingsland, GA. 5 hours of moving furniture and boxes in the heat and up stairs. YUCK! Communication was easy & prompt leading up to the move. Nothing was damaged, and the group manager even backed up the U-Haul for me! (I can do it, but I'm not very good. He could do it with his eyes closed.) I wish I could remember names to thank them individually. GREAT CREW and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

I hired KMW Smooth Movers thinking I was going to get THEM. Turns out I got two individuals who were sub-contracted through the company. The workers themselves were great. They did slow down after lunch - but who doesn't in this hot Florida weather. Some pay issues and lack of information was given to the two individuals about the job that needed to be done and that I lived on the second floor so one of the workers became irritated. However, they completed the job before the 5 hour time frame. There was apparently some miscommunication on the workers and KMW about payment. I wanted to contact the guy who I spoke with the day before moving through KMW. I called well over 10 times and sent many texts asking for him to call me back - AND NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. I read good reviews for the company. But my moving day turned into complete crap. I will never hire these movers again nor go trough Uhual movers services. Two men and A Truck quoted $1100 for my move - Should have paid that.

My name is Melissa Angel who purchase services from your company through the U-Haul website to assist in her recent move on May 8th, 2021. I would like to bring to your attention that she deserves a full refund of the services that I paid for in full for her moving date of May 8th, 2021 at 9:00AM. I personally had to reach out on May 7th, 2021 to confirm that the movers that I paid for their services in full would be at her residence on May 8th, 2021 to move into her new apartment 3.4 miles away. The only correspondence I received was that the movers were running 30 minutes behind and nothing more after that. I hired them twice for loading a truck and both times they were courteous, efficient, and respectful.
