  • The three men who arrived promptly on time at our new house worked very diligently and carefully, unloading our 26' full U Haul. They followed the direction of my partner, who had different furniture brought to different floors, and moved some around as she decided which room some of the larger pieces needed to go into. Very happy with the friendliness and quality of the service.

  • When the movers cameI tried to show them the totality of the job, They refused to look around, walked upstairs and started doing whatever they wanted. No matter what requests I made they were ignored.. Suddenly they stated no more with about twenty percent more items to load. The UBoxe were packed with tons of space left in every one. An expensive table was crammed sideways with the feet gouged in to the top of my formal dining room table. Then a lawnmower in top of both tables side ways leaking..Most boxes were put in sideways with contents spilling out, including kitchen glassware marked glass and fragile.. I have no idea the extent of my damage at this point. I will not know until my UBoxes arrive and are unpacked. We were forced to repack most of the Uboxes and get a storage unit due to time constraints. Had the UBoxes been packed properly there would not have been a need for a storage and the cost of a truck to move the remaining items. I paid to have my items destroyed.

  • The mover was amazing, we had two movers scheduled but only one showed up and he was early. He was great, got everything loaded and unloaded in under 2 hours. We offered to help because it was a lot for one person to handle and he was working hard. He had such a positive attitude and was super respectful. Very dedicated just sad that the company didn’t have a backup mover to help him. I hope he got all the money because he deserved it,

  • Worst moving company experience ever. Had trouble confirming the time with them as they did not understand the meaning of 'noon'. They were supposed to contact me 30 minutes to scheduled start time and Did not. So they claimed to be there on time and Were not. I hired an extra person to make sure they were timely and they took two hours to load a fully packed-up one bedroom unit into the truck and three more hours to unload. FIVE HOURS to move a one bedroom unit seven miles. They were belligerent at times including literally screaming at me for their code for the first two hours of prepaid time. I had my back turned and one of the movers came into my apartment and started to scream at me. He then refused to call his boss. I had called the boss to request an accommodation of fees to which the boss verbally agreed but then broke his word. WORST EVER. DO NOT HIRE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

  • There were two movers, a darker one and a lighter one. The lighter one was very rude to my wife and arrogant. He constantly was being disrespectful, and came in my house demanding (not asking) to give him something to drink. This man did not show the professionalism we received the first time we hired Tu Paquete. The darker worker was actually REALLY good and was very respectful. He is an example of why we hired Tu Paquete. The job got done and was done efficiently. I told my wife where I put the money for the tip and when she checked, it was gone. I never moved the cash, and never found it again. I’ve never had this happen to me before, and going forward, if I have to move again, I will never be as trusting ever again. Lucky we caught it, and indicated for him to get off immediately. Last move same helper broke off top of cat post when picking it up from top not bottom. Any one in this type of business should no better to grab things like that but he seemed to care about doing a good job. I chalked it up to inexperience. From my observation other team member was much more conscientious and appeared very experienced. I would like to remind consumers this is not an easy job. • If I could give this zero stars I would! Worst experience with mover’s is an understatement! Right from the beginning my husband asked the mover’s not to pack a brand new carpet cleaner that would be used for cleaning when the truck was loaded. My husband was busy helping and didn’t notice they had packed the cleaner. By this time it was too far buried in the truck to even see. My last review of this company states all was well for packing help. I didn’t find out until the day before they were to load the truck, one of the packers didn’t tape any boxes although there was plenty of tape available to her. All of the bottoms of the boxes filled with breakables were only crisscrossed on the bottoms. I had to go in and tape all the bottoms and tops myself. Because of the loaders mistake we asked our last hour of loading be compensated due to having to rearrange our schedule to get cleaner back out of the truck. My husband was threatened by the movers and I’ve received nasty messages!

  • I was very grateful they were so accommodating to my delays. But when the movers arrived 10 minutes earlier than we agreed upon before I even got there, they texted saying, 'Well, the clock starts now,' which only added stress to an already stressful day. Also, the movers were a bit slow, taking their time. And they didn't handle my boxes with much care, not setting the boxes down gently and putting several of them upside down (even though they were labeled and had arrows), so a few of my bottles leaked through the boxes. Also, they broke a glass lamp that I was very attached to. My friend and I had to HELP them carry items from the truck to my apartment, which was a little annoying. I gave them a $50 cash tip because of how late in the evening it was, but I don't think I'd hire them again because the labor itself was lacking.

They didn’t always handle everything as marked on the box, so watch over anything important. They immediately corrected whatever I asked of them. They were very fast and did an impressive job packing everything into the truck securely. When loading into storage they were able to put things up pretty high. I did ask them to change some things that looked a bit precarious. I’m pretty good at packing, so I helped some. They were going fast for me since we were over time. I believe they would have arranged better with more time. All in all I can’t fault much. Good guys with smiles and willing to give me a hug when I broke down from the moving stress. • I was moving within town and had a number of large items that I was worried about moving out of my 3rd floor apartment that only had stairs, so I decided to hire movers for the first time. It was such a great experience. The two movers, Victor and Jonathan, came on time and they were so helpful. Once I told them what items I had, they strategically started loading the cargo van that I had rented. They carried a lot of things down the multiple flights of stairs and packed everything into the van very neatly. It took less than an hour to load the van. Then they followed me in the van to the new apartment and unloaded just as quickly. It took less time than I had booked for, but I'm really glad. Thank you, Victor and Jonathan!

  • This refers only to the general moving services provided (review of piano moving is separate). My primary issue is that the crew did not understand English, and I don't speak Spanish. I think that should be noted in the MovingHelp listing. They appeared to lack experience (one does not carry an oil painting with the painting under one's arm rubbing against one's clothing!), but they did work steadily and finished the primary goal of moving all two-person (large heavy) objects from my old apartment to my new apartment (same building) in the allotted time.

  • This refers specifically to the piano move (general move is reviewed separately). Communication with Tu was good, but the crew did not understand English. I was prepared to move my baby grand Yamaha electronic piano. I already own a piano board, small dollies, blankets, straps, corner protectors, etc. I showed all of this to your crew. They had no idea what any of it was, and did not use it. Instead, they just tipped the piano onto the keyboard on their furniture dolly. This is not how one moves a piano. They do not know how to move a piano. I cannot recommend your movers to anyone for moving a piano.

They arrived promptly at the time I had requested, and were ready to go right away. They packed and unpacked my 1-bedroom belongings (including fragile items that never got damaged) in about 3.5 hours, and without including the drive between packing+unpacking, it took them less than 3 hours. • They did not speak English at all, so communication was a big problem. They packed my bubble wrap in the truck instead of using it and ruined brand new boxes to use as padding. The load took 4 hours instead of 2, and they did not know how to properly take down a TV mount. All of the heavy items were not loaded until the end, forcing me to extend the time. One of my couch cushions was ripped in the process and many of the boxes were crushed and one was ruined because they put heavy things on lighter ones. I clearly marked everything that was glass or fragile but they did not take care. My delicate items had arrows but were put upside down or sideways anyway.

I paid an extra hour and did some of the work myself. The main guy pushed back whenever I said I wanted something loaded a certain way. Upon unloading at my destination, I found a few wood items scratched and gouged, but no significant breakage. It was a 2900 mile move, so I was pleased there wasn't more damage. • First off, they did not show up to start the move. They thought they were supposed to come a different day instead of looking at their work order. they did come out, but were two hours late to start the job. The two people that came spoke very little English, and made communicating very difficult often having to call someone to interpret. We rented 20 feet of space on a truck which should’ve been plenty. However, these goys only loaded the truck halfway up so we ended up having to pay an additional thousand dollars for extra space. Additionally, they do not charge by the half hour, so be prepared for an hour for any additional time, which they did not tell us, until, after the fact,. Very disappointed in this whole experience!

  • We got 3 movers and only one of them was the lead or experienced mover. Lead mover did a very good job in loading the truck carefully, so he can full utilize my truck space as well ensure things stay intact (out of state move. Most of the items came intact except for few items that got damaged in shipping). It took much longer than we thought. Since the other 2 movers were not very experienced, lead mover have to disassemble furniture, come up with a plan to navigate big ticket items and also arrange it inside the truck as well which resulted in little slower turn around time.
