These guys came in and helped us in a pinch situation to get the last big & heavy items. They hooked up the washer & dryer. Moved all the boxes out of the garage and into the right rooms. The movers were an hour late, so my dad and I ended up moving 90 percent of the items ourselves. We paid for 2 hours of work, and only needed them for an hour once they arrived. The way they loaded the truck left too much empty space at the opening of the truck, so by the time we got an hour down the road, we had to pull over to fix furniture that fell over.

I hired movers for two hours to move my nephew. Upon arrival they were obviously dismayed that I had misjudged and misreported the amount of stuff to be moved (who knew people had so much stuff!!) but to me two hours is two hours so what does it matter? How was I to know that it’s near impossible to load and unload a 2 bedroom apartment in 2 hours? Once this was mentioned, I requested an additional hour to which they and their boss agreed (they could have said no). The major issue came into play with time keeping. The movers were definitely using different math than I (maybe forgetting they took a 30 min break) and I had to get the boss involved to get the last 10-15 min of my time (which completed the move) while one mover complained loudly. A text confirmation of start and stop times in the future might avoid such a situation. An evening move was clearly a problem. The guys were very nice and efficient otherwise. The boss (Cody) was kind and accommodating.

Our first time using movers and they were outstanding. Moved 8000lbs out of a 26ft uhaul in 3 hours including a 700lb safe through an very tight space. 11 out of 10 would recommend to everyone moving in or out of their home. Additionally they had great attitudes and made moving in stress free.

I could just say that the movers from C&E were great. They were efficient, took initiative, and did the job far better than I could. But that does not tell the full story. I had rough personal circumstances make it so I could not fully finish packing prior to the moving project. I called C&E to expand my job from one day to two days on short notice. The kindness and professionalism I experienced is second to none. They came by both days and helped get my mess fixed. There was no judgment. They were positive and supportive. They helped me when I needed it, and I recommend them anyone who needs moving help. The movers here care and will have your back.

These guys were great - Rick and Logan came in, asked us specifically where they would like things to be moved, brought them to their designated locations, paid attention to what the boxes were labeled as fragile, or bathroom, or liquids, etc. and made it a point to take care of our stuff coming off the truck! they were great and were extremely responsive in coming to our place!

It took all of us a little time to get used to each other, but once we did, everything was great. They load, unload quickly and efficiently, just give them time and space to move you. Please also account for unforseen circumstances and try not to underestimate the time that it will take for your move. Remember, they are doing back to back moves and we all need a quick little break sometimes. These guys work hard. Rick and Joey were great. They somehow got my big sectional into a small door small apartment. Snacks, water, sports drinks available would greatly be appreciated. Be kind during to your movers and happy moving.

The movers were nice enough, but overall, I didn’t feel comfortable with the experience. I’ve moved across the country several times and have used different movers through the U-Haul site, but this was one of my least favorable experiences. One of the movers kept complaining about the amount of stuff I had, and the warm weather (despite it only being in the 70s). What should’ve taken maybe 3 hours max ended up taking almost 4, and I felt like they were deliberately dragging things out and taking several breaks. They also left energy drink cans and cigarette butts on my front porch, which I found unprofessional. To top it off, the owner suggested I tip each mover 10 dollars while on speakerphone in front of them, which felt awkward and pressured. I tipped them because I felt pressured to. I wish I had hired a different team. I honestly wouldn’t choose these movers again. Maybe the owner is better? But I don't know, I didn't meet him in person.

I had such a great experience with this moving company! The two gentlemen who helped me were incredibly nice and respectful with all of my belongings. Poor planning in packing truck. Many items scratched and boxes crushed. Improper care to move and pack truck with a few pieces antique furniture resulted in a broken leg on desk and scratches on nearly every piece of furniture. Movers were not communicative and seemed to just shove things in the truck without thinking about a good result and protecting items. This company does not provide equipment (box or furniture dolly) so this was an additional expense to me. When the door of the truck was opened several pieces were wedged against it and there was broken glass on the ground. Total disappointment and I do not recommend.

This was a last minute move and I contacted C&E the afternoon before the move. We only needed assistance with unloading of the truck. Within a couple of hours, Cody had texted with specific and thorough questions about the unloading of our UHAUL (e.g. estimated time of need, type of items to move, # of floors to climb, etc.). I replied back and received a professional response in a timely manner. The day of the move, the crew (Ricky and Tru) arrived a few minutes late but Cody had texted me their ETA. Ricky also called after the text with their ETA. As soon as they arrived, they went right to unloading. They systematically took all of the items out of the truck and brought items up the 3 flights of stairs in a careful manner. The heaviest furniture was brought upstairs with diligence. They were able to complete the unloading in the 2 hour time frame. I would highly recommend C&E Moving.

I'm a senior citizen moving many times w no problems. These guys took advantage of me. Cody sent Logan and Rick. They turned a 3.5-4 hr job into a 7 hr job. I paid the OT bc Cody told the guys to stop working demanding I give Cody the code immediately even though the job wasn't completed. The guys sat in my U-Haul while I tried to talk to someone at Moving Help, and they said not to give them the code until job completed. I was obligated to comply because the workers stopped working. I never threatened to withhold payment, but Cody demanded the code after I complained the workers were working slow and dragging out the move. Rick was on the phone, not working, talking to his girlfriend. I was the 3rd person working quickly alongside these guys taking lighter things to the truck for loading and unloading. Both apts had elevators to utilize. I told Rick to pls work faster, he said he was working his ass off, and I said, so was I. Don't use these guys they are crooks. Senior fraud.

Listen, if you want a couple of chiseled models in crisp, fancy uniforms for your loading or unloading job, C&E may not be your cup of tea. But if you want Class A dudes who will work their tails off, treat your stuff like it's their own, have fun doing it, and are overflowing with good stories and personality...then this is your jam. They got far more done than I had hoped in less time, and I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with them too. Unparalleled work ethic!

They even helped with packing TVs into boxes and taking apart furniture. They were careful with our belongings and mindful of walls and doorways. Communication was very good. They were friendly and polite. However, one of the movers tripped on a step and broke a bookshelf in half. While not irreplaceable, it was the icing on the cake of a very difficult move, although we understand it was an accident.

Movers did not arrive at the scheduled time of 830, but had left a message we did not get. We called and found out they were not arriving until 1015. It worked out OK though.

Very professional. Personable. Really skilled at being able to not only move your furniture, but move it very carefully and for our needs -able to visualize how to best fit large amounts of furniture and boxes into a storage unit we thought was much to small to hold it all. They were great. And Carter will even nicely serenade you with whistling Beethoven and Cody is a true professional. We were happy to give them both a nice tip and would recommend them to anyone, and will seek them out next time we need help moving.

They are very rude and unprofessional I do not recommend them to anybody unless you want your stuff to be broken and because that and have your door slammed and have horrible accusations made by them and for them to start threatening you with Off the Wall threats it was a horrible experience having this company attempt to start moving me and then to spend 3 hours and get nothing at all done not even a fourth of the truck loaded and then to flat out quit on me and leave after I paid them for 3 hours $300 and then nobody to get moved out in time and then have to hire somebody else all over again and pay an additional $400 I cannot believe it at all

Thursday that they cannot complete the job because of an order that's in the apartment building and is making the workers sick and it's been three and a half hours and they've already done any work at all the truck isn't even a third Way full and not even one bedroom has been emptied out both men have just been taking breaks and taking their sweet time I am very upset I've had a horrible experience using your companies my move is not even close to being done yet I have to be out today I have no idea what I'm going to do the owner of the company when I talk to him and his name is Jim it was very rude to me this is so unprofessional and has put me in a bad Jam there's stuff on the hallway of my apartment building my stuff's been broken I am very very upset
