  • The communication setting up the move was great. However, the day of the move was not. The crew was scheduled for 1030 and had not showed by 1115. I contacted John and he called the crew who told him they were 15 minutes away. They still hadn’t arrived by noon so I contacted John again. He offered to reroute another crew or reschedule for the next day. I could not reschedule so he got a local company to replace his crew. Moss Movers arrived shortly after that and did a great job loading and unloading. I had most of the boxes in the truck by the time they came. At the end of the job, I provided John the payment code over the phone. Later I received a call from Mareo of Moss Movers for help getting paid from John (Weight Lifters). Phone call went to a full voicemail and his text explained issues he had trying to pay. I called again the next day trying to get Moss Movers paid but again no luck. I contacted support to help Moss Movers get paid. Unexpected as I am a repeat customer.

  • The team had never worked together before. They were really nice, but they scratched the walls and had a hard time figuring out how to get a couch through a door. They struggled from the beginning. However, they were kind and did complete everything in the time provided.

  • Ethan and his coworker, whose name I cannot recall—I am so sorry, he was a fantastic young man—showed up ready to work. Both young men had a great work ethic and engaged in wonderful conversations. I am such a worrier, and with all the driving and heavy lifting that comes with moving a family over an hour away, I was a ball of nerves until I saw the professionalism they displayed. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, motivated movers, as they definitely represented the team well.

  • I hired Weight Lifters as a last effort to move bedroom furniture, which we were physically unable to move into a second story apartment with 2 flights of stairs. They responded and sent help within 24 hours. The workers showed up, slightly late with no phone call, due to not having contact info. which I thought was unprofessional. However, they were polite, hard-working and efficient. The work was done in minimal time. I would definitely hire them again.

  • The two movers who came were absolutely phenomenal! They were professional, respectful, and took great care with all of our belongings. The unloading process was smooth and easy, and overall, I was very satisfied with the service. My only concern was the communication after placing the order. I had to reach out myself to confirm the time and go over the details. To be fair, I later learned the owner was at the hospital preparing to welcome a child, so I completely understand that there were other priorities. However, the communication was still a bit lacking. I have used this company before, and communication was similar during my previous move. That said, the actual moving service has been excellent both times. I would definitely use them again. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service and would just like to see more consistent communication throughout the booking process.

  • Highly Recommend Weightlifters Moving Company! We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Weightlifters Moving Company. The entire crew was incredibly hardworking, courteous, professional, and accommodating from beginning to end. These guys hustled the entire time. There was no standing around or wasting time—they worked hard and made sure everything was taken care of. What impressed us most was their patience and willingness to go above and beyond. As we were getting settled, we changed our minds several times about where we wanted furniture placed, which meant moving some very heavy pieces from one room to another—and sometimes moving them again after we decided we didn’t like them in the new location! They never once became frustrated or made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. They simply smiled, accommodated every request, and made sure we were happy with where everything was placed.

  • If you need a moving team that works tirelessly and handles your possessions with genuine care, hire Jay and his crew. Jay communicated clearly prior to moving day and expertly managed his team of four throughout a grueling 17-hour move. Every member was extremely hardworking, careful, and professional from start to finish. Maintaining that level of energy and precision after 17 hours is nothing short of heroic. Highly recommended!

  • John called the night before to confirm everything. He was very professional and communicated well. Ethan and Richie were out movers. They were already at my unit waiting when i brought the uhaul. They got everything packed in a hurry and we had a lot of heavy awkward objects. When we got to our new home they got everything unloaded much faster, communicated very well and were kind and professional. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better moving experience.

  • During the unloading process, it was clear that the movers placed several heavy canisters of laundry detergent in the side of an interior shelf, breaking the shelf. Additionally, a large dent in the chest freezer was developed due to a seat from the loveseat not angled with the cushion down, causing a large dent on the freezer. Besides these two issues, no issues presented itself. Would not return back to this company, but I appreciated the assitance on this move despite the damages.

  • I don’t like doing this, I just think it was very unprofessional. They brought the dog and tied around the lamp post in the yard. I’m sure if the management was here they would’ve freaked out. I guess they needed a driver so they brought a young girl with shorts upper butt just very unprofessional I appreciated them moving my stuff, but they were taking their good old time until the driver of the moving trailer told him they needed to step it up a bit because he had to get out of there the other two people I had on my last move were excellent

  • I'm not sure where to start. They were about 45 minutes late to show up and didn't tell me until after they were late. I lived on the 3rd floor and could hear them hitting walls and even dropping things. It was an hour and 10 minute drive to my unloading location - they went to lunch during this time. 2 hours later, still hadn't shown up to my house. They finally text me, it's now 6pm. They claimed they went to the wrong address and are now 30 minutes away. 45 minutes later and they still weren't there. Now I have to get the uhaul returned over an hour away and come back to my house. Fine. They finally arrive. Again, I can hear them drop multiple boxes and wacking items together. I checked through my items and see they damaged my dresser, my space heater was completely ruined (which they clearly knew because they placed the broken pieces on top of it), and my brand new window AC unit is missing all the hardware and the remote. I am not thrilled and to think I paid over $600 for this.

  • While we appreciated the help, the company sent two movers instead of the three we booked. They were relatively on time. They also did not bring their own equipment. The young men had good attitudes, but didn't seem to understand how to pack a storage unit efficiently. Some of our furniture was dragged instead of lifted, which worries me. They were also a bit slow, which I get. Moving things is exhausting, which is why we wanted three movers. What I thought was going to be an easy job, ended up becoming an ordeal after their time was up, because we had to rearrange the units in order to fit the remainder of our belongings. So though I feel bad, because the guys did work and were pleasant, we really weren't happy with their performance. They just seemed inefficient and slow.

Ethan, Richardo, and Alias were all very polite and handled my belongings with care. They even swept out the trailer for me when they finished. It was a 2 hour drive to my house. Then when he offered money back since they were late he stopped communicating all together. Would not recommend.

  • The LEAD, with the beard mover was very disrespectful to his co-worker. Co-worker, driver did most of the work while LEAD mover, with the beard stood by took multiple brakes. He also called and made a threat because he heard me on the phone talking about his performance, stating that he ,Knew my address, . Used my kitchen sink without asking and stood there for a period while co- work did more work. I would NOT want to use him again. And as far as the threat he made. I would caution him to ,stay in place!

  • They were over an hour and a half late, the owner refused to answer phone calls when I was trying to get an update about where they were and when they would be there. I called multiple times after the hour mark - he answered finally and said he was going to figure out what was going on. I waited and he never called back. When I tried to call him back to get an update, he wouldnt answer. I finally texted him after 20 minutes and he would text back. He's incredibly unprofessional. Terrible communication, inexcusable. I know it sucks to have to answer the phone and acknowledge that you're not doing what you promised your customer you would, but unfortunately sometimes that's part of the whole package. Refusing to answer because you don't have good news and just not communicating at all doesn't work. The actual people that did the moving were friendly but they also damaged some of my furniture, and despite being over an hour and a half late they still charged the same amount.

  • The skill level of my movers appeared as though they have never done so before. I was inside and they were carrying things out and packing a U-Haul. When I went outside to check the progress, they said they wanted to take a trip to the new location to offload the items. I looked inside and things were only stacked about 3 feet high. They told me that was all the tighter they could pack the truck. I am a middle-aged female, and I jumped in the truck and began rearranging the heavy items and they stood and watched me. Eventually, I turned around and told them to start bringing me more boxes. They did so and eventually stopped. They said they were done. As they pulled out of the drive, I went to check inside and there were still 20 to 25 items left inside that they just didn’t load. Luckily, I caught them in the driveway when questioned, they said they did not see the items. When I asked how this happened , one of the workers became angry with me. I called owner for help half way.

They were very respectful and very understanding and they both did their jobs very well. I think I've found some great movers when I move again (ugh hate moving) but I have also found some great new friends as well. So thank you both for being such stand up guys and for going above and beyond your jobs descriptions and helping me through this difficult time!!   • The movers were late arriving. I explained that the boxes could not be turned over, yet every box was. They called in 4 extra people, yet there was no notice of loading any faster. I could smell marajuanian, plus after the extra people arrived, I only saw them a few times. They ask to go look at what was in basement & kept asking for drinks. I gave them several water, cans of soda, but noticed many left almost full. The loading & unloading took a very long time. Loading was around 7-8 hours, but unloading was quicker because they put boxes in rooms that weren’t marked. I was left to move boxes myself, will need to put together the beds & the price went up 3 additional times. Beware of this moving company!!! John & his partner worked good, but all others was a waste of time. Not to mention, they also knocked over my mail box. I’m furious!!!!

  • Both guys communicated well even that they where running behind, although they where fast and efficient in moving the items, (I booked for 3 hours they got done in 2) the one helper put a decent size hole in the wall while trying to get my mattress up the stairs. I expressed my concerns immediately and the boss called me and is working on getting it fixed. (They say). Other than that I give them 3 out of 5 stars overall. I recommend them if you want things done quick but not too worried about your items and walls being damaged.

  • This is an excellent company. John called to verify times and details of the move and his team was right on time. (I was running late) Kenny and Richard were the movers from the company. I am thrilled with their service. They are polite, efficient, careful, and excellent at their jobs. We moved my uncle into a senior living facility and they were both so respectful and truly kind to not only my uncle but every resident they encountered. I heard Richard stop an older woman simply to tell her how beautifully dressed she was. You really don't find that kind of kindness from many people. You could tell it made her day to receive a compliment from a very handsome young man. I highly recommend this company. Their work ethic is outstanding and worth every penny if not more.

They were professional, cordial and had a very positive attitude. They showed up early and completed the 20 foot truck promptly. When they got to the 4th floor with the furniture my daughter's friends offered to relieve them of the furniture and the gentleman kindly refused saying -Please rest you are paying us for this. At the end when the three hours was coming close they were being very aggressive and just rushing , they did not finish and left things all over . They did not want to finish because they had another job (understandable) but could have communicated that a little better. All in all they got the job done .   • I guess the name Weight lifters threw me off! They were nothing like weight lifters! In fact, the team struggled with carrying heavy items. Both out of breath and having a difficult time. I booked for 4 hrs which was a total mistake. The job should have been done but this team although somewhat careful was very slow! This ate up almost 500.00 that I could have paid someone else to finish the job. Both gentlemen were friendly and professional, just slow!

  • Steve and Dalton were amazing and made the experience of unloading my truck exponentially better than when I hired a different company. The logistics of the path of travel were a bit unusual, but immediately Steve set up a logical and expeditious system, and the two of them went to work. Both young men were polite and professional with good communication skills and performed the task methodically, quickly and professionally. With antiques that have family value, but appear to have been through years of misuse or storage, it's hard to express the need for care in handling. But these two got it and didn't assume that a chip or a crack meant that it was okay to do more damage. They completed the job within the allotted time, were pleasant the entire time, and even made sure that the heaviest pieces were precisely where I needed them to be before leaving. I would hire these two again without another thought. Their work ethic cured any anxiety I was feeling and allowed me to relax.

  • My oriental chest was dropped on the ground, suit jackets pants dropped on the ground, shoe boxes, dropped on the ground, a box of glass Christmas decorations dropped and broken, wall hangings and pictures spread all over instead of in one area, heavier boxes packed on top of lighter boxes...dent and cracks in my bedroom dresser. I was very disappointed in the work. I just wanted my move-in to be over. John was moving all of the smaller items that I could have moved, instead of the larger items at the two hour mark...very shady as a business person. I understand it is only his side job yet a paying customer expects better care to be shown when moving items. I could have deducted money from his $400.00 total, but I didn't because I am a God-fearing person... overall dissatisfied with this move, it was very unorthodox.
