Uplift movers are professional and helpful during my move to NYC. They are very familiar with U-box delivery and unloading. If your apartment has strict requirements on COI+workers compensation, this team fulfills all of these requirements. Communication with them was efficient and stress free. I would recommend this team to others who are moving to NYC.

The entire team was very responsive and communicated very well throughout the process. We were working within a tight timeframe and it all worked out. Don't spend any more time looking for moving help. You've found it. The entire process with UpLift was simple, professional, and made our move way less stressful. Outreach was immediate upon booking and comms were outstanding throughout. Need COIs? We needed two. They took care of it. I needed a correction (my mistake) and they turned it around in a couple of hours. On moving day -- Anthony, Chris, and Elliot were incredible. No exaggeration. They were on time, efficient and took great care of our stuff. They were charming and funny to boot, which is truly a necessity when dealing with moving. I would not hesitate to use UpLift again for moving or any of the other services they provide. So stop looking, stop scrolling and just book these guys already.

This team is seriously the best you could find for moving help. I booked them through U-Haul to load my U-Box, and a whole crew of five guys showed up. They did an amazing job and finished in under an hour. I'd totally recommend them. They're super professional and handled everything with such care. UpLift Movers were beyond helpful and incredibly flexible, navigating some tricky parking and elevator situations without a hint of complaint. Even in the afternoon heat, they maintained a positive attitude the whole time, which was so refreshing. What truly impressed me was how efficiently they worked. They unloaded two packed U-Boxes in under an hour, and not a single item was damaged. They took the extra time to ensure everything was properly and securely unloaded, showcasing their professionalism. On top of that, they were so personable! They struck up casual conversations with my mom and kindly insisted she relax instead of trying to help. For hours after the appointment, she couldn't stop talking about how sweet the moving team was. This was the final step of the moving process for us, and UpLift Movers definitely made a positive impact.

Chris, Fabian, Chino, and Elliot were overall friendly, efficient, and careful with our items. They followed the labels to make sure our boxes and furniture got to the right rooms. They were easy to communicate with prior to the unloading day and on the day of via phone and text. We appreciated that their # was available in the listing so we could call with questions in advance of booking. We had about 1.5 U-boxes of stuff and they finished unloading in around 90 min for our 2nd floor apt (stairs). Tipped in cash and had some bubbly water on hand. Thanks again for the moving help!

Incredible performance & referral from Team Uhaul from phone reps who quickly and efficiently routed my request for movers to identifying a company available in the area for urgent assignment. Anthony at Uplift Movers responded to me in under a minute, called to understand the job and courteously & promptly arranged for a team to be dispatched to the site within the hour. Chris, Fabian & team were friendly and responsive and understood the urgency of the circumstances. They worked quickly & efficiently to handle all items with care, stack items neatly, carefully, and with precision, left a clean space, and managed to complete the job ahead of a hard closing deadline. Setting up the move was easy, and Anthony did a good job walking through what the procedure would look like on day of move, but things didn't go as planned. It's not clear where the miscommunication was, but the Uplift team had the wrong U-Haul location documented. They arrived late to this location and U-Haul did not have a box ready for them there. They were extremely transparent throughout the process, and ended up working with U-Haul to get a box from the location they arrived at, but overall it delayed the move start time by several hours. This made the move quite stressful since my apartment's moving window was meant to be from 1pm-4pm and they arrived at around 4pm. Generally, Uplift knew what they were doing and got the job done. It's tough for me to say which end caused the miscommunication

I would hire Uplift movers every single day if I could. They were absolutely amazing. Chris & Anthony were so communicative not only with me but also every one of the people they had helping. They problem solved everything and made sure everything was exactly where I needed it to be. If an item was damaged or broken in the box they made sure to tell me right away before it was moved so that I could be aware. They ran into multiple obstacles with picking up the boxes from the warehouse and commuting to my new home, but they did it with such ease and never made me feel like it was a hassle. Uplift movers were so kind and efficient during the entire time. I cannot thank them enough for all of their help. I'll be sure to use them again.

Such a great group of guys! Very friendly and professional. I had a very large couch, a full bedroom set and a ton of boxes amongst other things. They managed to pack it all into two u-boxes, which were much smaller in person than they looked online. I think everyone was a little nervous the boxes weren't going to fit everything, however, they made use of all the space the box had and got all of my belongings packed away like Tetris! Great experience and I would 100 percent use them again!

UpLift and their team was excellent from the second we booked them. Anthony in the office was efficient and thorough in his communication with us and planning for his team. His team texted us for details shortly after booking and then he called a few days later to go over the plan. The two movers we worked with, Marquez and a lovely gentleman from Puerto Rico, were incredible. They took their time with our stuff and really made sure to handle it with care. Great at their jobs and wonderful to interact with during the process. To consider all of this was less than a week from booking to execution, I'm shocked and incredibly impressed.

They did an overall excellent job, despite the far from simple layout of our apartment complex. They emptied in two hours 2 Uhaul pods. Nothing broken or lost, all where we asked, making the rest quite easy. And they were polite and nice. Will recommend.

My daughter was delighted with the Ubox unload UpLift did today. She texted definitely give a five star review, they were awesome, UpLift made this move easy and worry free from initial contact thru final delivery. It is always difficult arranging this type of thing from far away and UpLift made us feel comfortable we had made the right choice right from the start. Also much appreciated the additional help setting up the COI to meet landlords particular needs, in dismantling and re-assembling items and with disposal on items that were no longer needed.

Anthony at UpLift Same Day Moving was always easy to reach by phone and very knowledgeable about the logistics of getting our U-Haul u-boxes delivered and suggested the best location and timing for the pick-up and checked everything ahead of time with U-Haul for us. Chris handled the delivery which went smoothly, arriving early to our NYC apartment. He brought an extra hand truck and dollies and helped us unload everything efficiently. We ended up having a refund compared to the original quote which we received immediately following the delivery. Besides the great service, the price was very cost effective compared to other companies I looked into. I would highly recommend UpLift to anyone needing help transporting their u-boxes in the NYC area.

THIS IS THE BEST MOVING COMPANY. They are so kind, and communicative, and easy to work with. They were all gentlemen and so professional. I dealt with this move all by myself (23 year old female recent college graduate) and was nervous but they made everything seamless. They were also fast and great problem-solvers - when issues came up out of their control and delays occurred, they sent more guys to finish the job faster! When they didn't have time to rebuild my table and other stuff, they worked with me to find another time and came back the next morning no problem!! We hired the day of the move. Within a minute of booking, we got a text to coordinate details. Movers showed up with ubox as scheduled (2 hours from booking) and loaded everything in 2 hours.

U-Hual gave my movers a wrong box, which was annoying, however the movers were very prompt in turning the wrong box back and return with the correct box. Solid five stars!

They picked up our 2 u-boxes from uhaul on a trailer, unloaded them and dropped the trailer off all within 4 hrs, and that was even with a delay due to the uhaul storage location only having 1 trailer! Uplift Movers were friendly, flexible and efficient for my unloading into a house in 3 hrs. There are nicks on the walls and furniture, as expected in a move. The house did smell like weed the first day, but they are otherwise professional and hardworking group of young men. Working with Moving Help 'powered by' U-Haul for my U-Boxes cross-country had been a different story. There are too many middle-man companies between me and the people who do the loading-unloading, the drivers of the trucks and the workers at the U-Haul Storage facilities. Dates changed, companies seemingly go out of business and cancel the move. And neither Moving Help nor U-Haul would take responsibility for those contracted companies.

They did a great job helping us move in. The men were quick and efficient and very sweet. They also were patient about an issue that came up on u-haul's end that held things up. I would recommend this moving team to anyone moving in and needing an unload!
