The movers that did the work were awesome and quick. They did great! However, I'm pretty sure the company over booked because they were 3 hours late from when I booked them over a month ago. They were an hour later than the first reschedule even so I'm assuming the company stretched their employees for too many jobs. I cannot say enough about how great the actual movers are though.

Super helpful guys, all four were courteous and catered to my ‘old lady’ requests, placing everything where I asked. Efficient with the time, careful with all my antique furniture. Sent tip by Venmo to supervisor.

They 2 crew members showed up and in 22 minutes they unloaded my u haul. Wish it didn't cost me a lot for that short of time. However I highly recommend this company because they are nice, professional, and they live up to good reviews.

Johnny and company did a great job. Very professional, courteous, efficient, timely. Take great care to carefully handle furniture and made no mess loading and unloading. Super value, worth every dollar. Would highly recommend Unorthodox.

Outstanding service from start to finish! U-Haul had me budget for at least 2 hours (likely more) for my move, but these guys knocked it out in just an hour and 15 minutes. It was a multi-floor move in downtown Omaha, and these smart lads strategically created a smooth workflow to minimize elevator downtime. Their efficiency was impressive. Communication was excellent. They reached out several days prior to confirm everything and schedule a specific time window. On moving day, they checked in to let me know they were running a bit behind due to compounding delays from earlier jobs. Because of how hard and thoroughly they worked once they arrived, it was completely understandable why they were running behind. They came as quickly as they could and got right to work. On top of their work ethic, the crew was incredibly friendly, charismatic, and a genuine joy to be around. I am definitely looking to hire them again for my next move!

The guys who came out were great! They brought blankets and dollies and fit everything in the U-Haul in one trip. One item didn’t fit and they offered to load it in their truck. They even dealt with moving a couch down a narrow stairwell. Nothing was damaged. The downside was the communication with the company was very poor. I had to reach out several times to confirm my appointment. The day of the move, they called to say the crew was running late and pushed for me to instead book a separate contractor. I told them I wanted to stick with the original crew and they said they would move things around to fit me in. The crew ended up showing up just past the window they originally told me they would arrive. So, in the end, the moving process went as expected. However, it doesn’t seem like they are very reliable.

Unorthodox Moving was a lifesaver! We called at the last minute while they were already on another job, and they still made time to help us that evening. They moved our heavy furniture, unloaded our truck, and even assembled our bed before they left. The crew was professional, efficient, friendly, and handled everything with care. If you want movers who go above and beyond and truly care about their customers, I highly recommend Unorthodox Moving!

Arranging unload times is always challenging especially when I asked for an afternoon time slot but they kept me informed of the status of the movers. Once they got there, they were professional and quick. Very friendly, super helpful. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Johnny and Dee were positive and professional. I needed help loading packed boxes and furniture into a UHaul and they did such a great job. There was some question about whether everything was going to fit (due to me not downsizing enough lol, nothing to do with them!) and they were great about working with me to determine what was a priority item and what could have stayed behind if needed. I dinged one star on communication because I had requested three people when I booked online and didn’t know I was only getting two until they got there. Also I was given a two hour window for the guys to show up, and told I’d get a notification when they were about 30 minutes out. When it got to the last 15 minutes of the two hour window I still hadn’t heard anything, so I sent a text to the person in charge and got a reply that the guys were 10 minutes out. Not a huge deal as I never expect a moving day to be perfectly smooth, I just wanted to explain why I didn’t rate that section perfectly.

Initially reluctant to hire help, we are so very glad that we did. Jeff & Dion were phenomenal! They were prompt, courteous and very efficient. Both gentlemen had positive attitudes, great communication and were careful with our items. Unorthodox Moving made unloading our 26' truck a positive experience. Should we ever need moving services again, we'd definitely hire them again.

Hopefully others will read this review. They were on time, brought equipment. Asked what I needed, moved and where, took their time to make sure they didn’t damage anything. They were positive, professional and upbeat the whole time. I didn’t think I would need the help, but let me tell you they were just what I needed to get this truck unloaded and am grateful my wife told me to get help. I was unsure of who to choose, but I chose the right company for the job.

OMG! These movers are fantastic! If I could give them ten stars I would! Jeff is patient, kind, efficient, careful, conscientious, and an expert at packing, loading, and unloading! I would use them anytime!!!

Not going to lie, booked the cheapest and got the best! These guys were great, flexible & courteous. They were more than accommodating for our schedule changes even with it being a holiday. They were very efficient moving everything with care to a third floor apartment. You can’t go wrong with booking them.
