10 out of 10 recommend Family First Movers!!! They worked so hard to accommodate last minute changes in our moving plans and went above and beyond to get all our things moved safely and efficiently. These guys were so fantastic! They were kind, helpful, cheerful and when our job ran over, due to no fault of theirs, they happily stayed and got it done! I can’t say enough about these excellent people who take a tough job and make it beautiful. I can only imagine the difficult circumstances these folks see while doing their job; deaths, divorces, people moving into old folks homes. Family First Movers were truly an answer to prayer. We bought (2) items from Costco and realized these were too heavy for us. We had used U-haul movers before and knew we would get a good group and we were not disappointed. They answered the call and came about an hour later. Professional, personable and it was evident that they knew what they were doing. They took great care of our things. Highly recommend Family First Movers.

My only complaint, and this is with almost all Moving Help vendors, is that they tend to wait until the last minute to confirm and verify things. This may just be me, but I like advance notice and a good bit of hand-holding. I have people counting on me, and I need to know my ducks are in order. It's not always a residential move that's going on.

Kevin is the man. He called days in advance to confirm, the day of to confirm, and was on time to help us unload our U-Haul. He took extra steps to ensure everything was where it needed to be and that there were no scuffs or marks anywhere on the walls or floor. He even gave us local recommendations since we were new to town. I highly recommend Family First Movers for any moving needs.

Much of my furniture is damaged and broken. A leather couch was placed on the bottom of the truck and dragged. A pristine white glossy table is scratched and the edges damaged from sliding boxes across it. Plastic wrap and movers pads were provided but not used to protect the furniture once on the truck. Books boxes were on top of lighter boxes. Lamp boxes were on the bottom of stacks of boxes. Boxes with top load written on them were not on the top. So so frustrated and disappointed. Do not use these guys!!!!

The team arrived and was very sweet and professional. They were quick and very conscious of all our furniture. They made sure wood and electronics were covered and handled with great care. They loaded up our apartment in less than 1 hr and it was on the second floor. Then they unloaded the furniture into our new apartment in about 1 hour. So quickly and carefully. Kevin and his crew were simply amazing. We had scheduled with Greek Life moving prior and they completely failed to provide us the service they promised. Two of the four movers showed up and then decided they were not going to do our job and snuck away and cancelled, leaving us stranded. Family First took an emergency last minute call for us and got right to work. It was way later in the day than we expected, so our 5 bedroom house was not able to be moved in one day like we had planned so they showed up bright and early the next day and knocked it out in 3 more hours. They were courteous, careful with our things, and fun to talk to. I wish we had just booked with them originally, but now I know whom to trust if we move again. DO NOT BOOK WITH GREEK LIFE. THEY ARE AWFUL. Choose Family First.

These guys are IMPRESSIVE!!!!! They were flexible in updating my reservation when it needed to be rescheduled due to weather conditions. They confirmed the appointment and gave an accurate ETA and arrived on time and still was somehow able to complete the job in a neat, organized manner with absolutely no damage to my property whatsoever with a half hour still left on the clock!! I'm shocked, impressed and absolutely will rebook with these guys again!!

The office dispatch was very helpful with scheduling my movers. I had to move back the time twice because of traffic and they were very accommodating. The movers that came to help were extremely helpful and professional while also taking amazing care of all my furniture and possessions. They got my 26' uhaul emptied in no time. They worked efficently and DID NOT waste any time. We reserved 16 ft of trailer space (upack ABF trailer) and Kevin packed it in 13 ft. On one of the hottest days of the year, we moved a Uhaul full of furniture to Memphis, Tennessee. We had scheduled movers to unload our truck but they did not show up nor did they have the decency to give us a call. We needed to return our Uhaul and I feared my wife and I would have to unload it ourselves. My wife thought to call Uhaul movers and they put us in contact with Family First Movers. They immediately said they would be right over. The apartment was on the third floor and the temp had to feel like 109 degrees. These two guys had the BEST most positive attitude giving how hot it was. We freakin loved them! They went above just moving the furniture in, they helped situate some furniture and they took the cardboard boxes down to load in the truck. We could not wait to write a good review of this company. Do not waste your time calling some of those other companies that won’t show up. Call this company and have piece of mind you’re in good hands. Love them!!!!

This company was Awesome! Moved 8-25-23. Communication excellent. On time. They packed my 20ft truck fast and perfectly and fit what was supposed to be a 26ft truck but reservation got messed up. It was very important that our movers who loaded our 20 foot rental truck showed up early in the morning so we could drive later that day to our overnight stop, then on to our destination the next day, where another moving company was scheduled to unload our truck. We had great communication with Family First Movers to let them know our moving situation, and they showed up very early in the morning. They loaded our truck quickly and professionally, and we were able to get to our overnight stop in a reasonable time. There was no significant damage to any furniture or belongings when we arrived after a 400-mile drive.

They were good at communicating when they got held up on another job which worked good. The only thing I didn't like is one guy came ahead of the other and the other guys were running extremely late. The first guy was very good and handled it well. When the other two got there it seemed to be a rush job and I wound up having to shift things around myself to get everything I needed on. If you care about your belongings, you may want to keep looking. I ended up with a damaged dining room set, stools were dropped and damaged, legs were damaged. Bedroom dresser was damaged, boxes were dropped. There was negligence in regards to boxes that were marked FRAGILE RED STICKERS. NO REGARDS TO WALLS AND SO ON. No apologies were given being aware of the damage they created. They did however move quickly, but with your things at risk. The guys were nice and pleasant. I also had sweat-perspiration over alot of my furniture and floor due to the gentleman removing his shirt and they both were dripping sweat all over the place. I do understand it was hot... I would definitely not book them again!!!.I did try and reach the owner , was sent to vmail multiple times to advise.

While the two gentlemen that arrived were mannerable, they were very careless with the items. They stepped on items and drug items across the ground, without properly securing them on a dolly, and this resulted in minor damage to some of the items. The packing of the items in the moving truck was also subpar and did not maximize the space. While they did finish a little early and were responsive to specific requests throughout the move, they definitely did not seem experienced, and seemed more like amateurs. I do not recommend this company at all.

The movers were originally scheduled to start unloading at 2 pm. We received multiple calls stating 'they were on their way.' Around 3-330 pm one employee showed up and started unloading the truck by himself. Chris was very respectful and was working really hard to get the truck unloaded. The other three finally showed up around 430 to help. Two of the employees were disrespectful to our belongings and were verbally disrespectful to each other. We purchased a brand new refrigerator prior to our move. It was still in the box when it was on the truck. When they removed the refrigerator from the truck, they decided they needed to removed the refrigerator from the packaging to get it into the house. Understandable. However, they damaged the front panels while trying to get it through the doorway. We expected more professionalism considering the loaders we hired exceeded our expectations vs the unloaders who were greatly disappointing. We were eager to get them out of the house.

I can not express the level of gratitude I have for Family First. The original company (I won't call names this time) never replied to my order since Dec 11th and I was on a tight deadline. I scheduled First Family only 2 days in advance. Called the next day and I promise the level of professionalism was amazing. The gentleman I spoke with state he had received the order and they would call the next day to inform me of their arrival time by 1145. At approximately 1144 my phone was ringing. Terrion (I may have spelled it wrong) and Dre showed up ready to work. They were so polite and professional and even though Uhaul failed to supply me with the materials I requested, they still were able to load and unload successfully with so much grace and ease.
