• Chicago Speedee Movers is a company that truly puts customer needs 1st! My moving day had quite some unexpected delays and my head was spinning on how I was going to make my move successful.. However, due to unexpected delays; I had to move my time from 10am to 1pm and finally to 330PM! Each time I called Speedee Movers, Danny, the overhead made sure to reassure me that he would work with my troubles and make sure the movers would arrive whatever time my truck was ready. Additionally, due to Danny's logistics skills; I was not only able to load from my old apartment with them but and unload my truck at new apartment. The movers Ronald and Dee were amazing! Very punctual, professional, kind and patient! They worked extremely hard to make sure they strategically loaded all items in truck in a way that was efficient and safe. I could have not did this without Chicago Speedee Movers! Make Chicago Speedee Movers your 1st choice!

• Beware Movers never showed up despite confirming 2 days prior I called after they were not there 2 hours after promised time of 11 am. Told they were allegedly in an accident rescheduled for 4 pm. At 515 pm still no movers and no one returned my call or text . They were aware I had to drive 6 hours and had movers to unpack me the following morning at my new home . Never again!

• The night before my move, I received a call stating they were going to need n extra helper based on my furniture. Mind you, I had a marble dining table, a dresser and armoire. That was al of the heavy furniture. I had a 1bdrm with storage. They were late. Took them 2.6 hours to load boxes. At that point I had 36 min left of our agreement and they hadn't moved any furniture. I asked if we would get everything loaded today. When all said and done 4 hrs. Unbeknownst to me, I was being charged an additional hour on top of the additional helper. I provided bedding covers to cover the furniture. I was assured, by the owner who personally strapped in my furniture, that it wasn't going anywhere. I was doing a straight shot from Chicago to Texas. We arrived in Chicago for another company to unload. Marble top damaged, armoire damaged, TV stand damaged, book case damaged. All of the under covering of bed, 2 ottomans, and couch are ripped due to furniture being loaded on top.

  Over the past decade, Chicago Speedee Movers has successfully completed over 3500 moves and boasts an impressive collection of multiple five-star reviews. While we strive for customer satisfaction, negative feedback often stems from reluctance to cover expenses exceeding the original prepaid amount. Unfortunately, we cannot work without compensation. It is crucial to report any damages to your belongings during transport immediately. I encourage customers to send photos of damaged items before the furniture is unload off of your Uhaul truck, as this helps us pinpoint the source of the damage. I personally supervised the secure strapping of your furniture before the door was shut. With over a decade of experience, I am confident in our ability to safely load and secure your belongings. As such, I believe any damages to be the responsibility of your movers in Texas. Moreover, we have photo evidence of the Uhaul truck being loaded and secured appropriately.

• Received a call from movers around 10 am (while the start was scheduled for 9 am) and they requested to change the start time. I accepted and they changed it to 12 pm. Around 1 pm after several calls they answered and they ask to start the job a little later and wanted 30 min to call me back and finalize a time. • I have a trail of unresponsive texts and phone calls from the day of the “no call, no show”. “Danny” confirmed the 9AM CT move for today via telephone yesterday at 7:30PM CT. I never received a call 30-minutes prior to the appointment and couldn’t reach anyone. I received a phone call at 3:40PM from a different number (312 area code) letting me know they just found out about the move, that their office was closed today and that they were busy on two other moves. Now I’m stuck with having to go over on my U-Haul contract (rental, fuel, mileage) as I am can only piece this circumstance together from what’s left. Please cancel this order and refund my money.

  You can see by our reviews we are a 5 star service. So I'm sorry but we were not complaining we were explaining. There is no way 3 movers can move a 1,000 pound wooden winding staircase. You need a at least 6 movers or a crane to move something like that. I understand that you wanted to save money by only hiring 3 movers but I am not going to allow my men to get hurt so you can save money.
