• The movers were weak and slow. They damaged my house, my belongings, and did a terrible job packing our truck. The truck looked as thought it was full, but as we looked closer we found a massive hole of space (enough to fit a mattress and other large items) in the middle of the truck. I provided moving blankets and they didn’t use a single blanket. These guys moved slow, took breaks and didn’t make up the time at the end - they even left a few minutes early. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Because of these movers my furniture is scratched, walls are damaged, and they made our move incredibly stressful.

• A disaster. They did not come prepared with a suitable dolly for an upright piano move. They tipped the piano off the ramp of our trunk, almost directly on top of me. They poorly wrapped a desk that led to a led to a leg breaking off. It really seemed like both guys had very little experience with loading effectively and efficiently.

  We said we could use more people to help with it because it was heavy and larger than the usual ones and you said it's ok you would help. When we were coming out the door with the floor dolly's on each end you didn't want to do it our way and said they would be better in the middle. So we held the piano in the air so you could adjust both dollys and put them where you wanted them. We mentioned again we should leave it in the garage and call for help but you insisted to help instead. This is why customers are not always right.

• The team was late due to a car breakdown, but once they arrived, they more than made up for the delay. Unloaded our 26-foot truck with care and professionalism in just over an hour.   We came two days 1 for 3 hours, the next 2 hours. I gave you numbers of contacts who could help you and your situation. We are not responsible for picking up or returning your moving truck. However our guys explained to you that the truck needed to be loaded a certain way to be properly loaded for your commute to Virginia. • The moving helper was supposed to be at uhaul by 3 to pick up my box. They texted me at 4 to say they were on their way and then around 5 I called uhaul to see if they ever showed up and was informed that the moving helper never got there or picked up my ubox. I arrived at uhaul to do it myself and two people from the moving helper were there, they offered to still do the job to help with the lifting but then told me they did not have their drivers licenses with them to drive the ubox to my apartment. Therefore, I just took it upon myself to rent a truck from uhaul and bring/unload the ubox to my place without their help. • I had communicated clearly to the movers weeks in advance and also the day before to confirm they would be here. They day of the move, I was called and told they were running behind and would be about and hour late. (I said no problem). 2 hours later I call and text and never heard back. Finally the mover said their car broke down and they were getting a different crew. I called their office and they gave a totally different bogus story. Long story short we slept in the floor our first night. They promised to be here the next morning at 5:30am and never showed up. Buyers beware.

• J&M's called 15 min before job was scheduled and said one of the workers was injured in earlier job. They said they would try and schedule another worker. 1.5 hrs later, two follow up calls have not been answered. I have rented a uhaul for this move and cannot afford to pay another day on the rental truck waiting to find out if they can find another worker or not.

• Our U-Haul had a flat tire and our main concern was that if we had to get another truck, the new packers would not do the wonderful job that J & M had done to pack the van with my mothers antiques.
