• I had a few issues with the movers loading the Uhaul, but the moving help at my destination was 10 out of 5 stars in comparison. They called immediately (instead of refusing to talk to me until day before the move) to schedule and get more info, and were very professional. We drove overnight to Utah and every step of the way A1 was willing to figure out the best plan that worked for everyone. They moved another job ahead of ours, and brought a 3rd person out since we had issues with moving everything into the Uhaul within 2 hours. In the end, A1 was able to completely move everything from a 26ft Uhaul down 1 flight of stairs into the house within 2 hours, everyone was very professional, and even folded the rented moving blankets for us. Full stars, would totally use A1 again. Thanks!

• The guys were really nice. But it took 30 minutes for them to bring my washer and dryer up from my basement. Seemed like they didn’t know how to strap it on the appliances dolly. Had to help bring boxes up which if I didn’t, then they would have left before unloading the truck. We did have that much stuff, so we were a bit disappointed on what got done in 3 hours.

  Hi Everyone, we do try to help all customers, but sometimes conditions can be so unsanitary that we either might have to leave or take a little extra time cleaning before we move or even touch items. This job was unsanitary with the overwhelming presence of cat urine, feces and hair. It took some extra effort just to be able to move many of the items. • These guys worked non-stop, unloading our u-boxes really fast. Even when it started to rain (and a tiny bit of snow) they didn't stop. When they finished a little early, they asked if we would like anything assembled or moved within the house. Wonderful service!

• Terrible! Very disappointed. Wanted to tip but we Caught Movers carelessly shoving boxes in between items which resulted them breaking one of my box springs inner frame, they did not maximize the space for packing the uboxes efficiently, thankfully my wife called me on video to let me see what was going on. Did not follow instructions at all because they were told the boxes was labeled and All our high risk boxes were labeled fragile, top box only, tv, pictures, glass etc. When I finally got home around 9pm I had to remove all the items in 2 out of 3 uboxes and reorganize the entire box. Thankfully I own my own moving company and knew the job better then the young fellas that did my move. I stayed up to 2am fixing there mistakes and finding broken glass, busted pictures and fragile boxes under heavy boxes being crushed. I was able to get all the items they left in the 3rd ubox into the 2nd ubox no problem. Not professional, needs more training, careless movers, wouldn’t recommend

  Hi Angel, Thanks for your business we do try our best to make every customer happy. But your review is very confusing to us as you were on video chat on your phone with your husband who told us exactly what to load, piece by piece and box by box and how you wanted it placed in the pods. Nothing was broken while we were moving and loading your items. At the end you even told us how good of a job we did, thanked us and tipped us. To all other potential customers, we reached out to this customer when we saw this review, but Angel neither answered our call nor returned our text messages.

• At times movers had to be redirected where to put furniture items. One mover was very friendly and personable. Overall, the crew did a great job unpacking and were very efficient. They easily completed the work in 1 hour.

• I appreciate the rapid response to my short notice (same day) request. 2 movers were assigned. One showed up on time and got right to work. He had a little trouble handling furniture through narrow doors, but we trained him up and he did fine. The job was completed in about 1.5 hrs. The second mover showed up about 45 minutes later. I don't mind paying the agreed upon price when the job took less than 2 hours. But I think I should get some refund for the mover who was here only for half the job.

• The two guys who came and loaded the truck worked very hard, were friendly and got the job done. 5 stars to them. The manager David was not just unprofessional, he bordered on verbally abusive. Zero stars to him and I would like to submit a complaint if I could, but I will settle with giving a poor review of him. I would not recommend using this company based on David's customer service. David was condescending, immature and unprofessional in his words and tone. Upon booking, he gave me grief about the amount of stuff to be moved, the start time and the loss of daylight in the evening, and even about it being a divorce situation. David called me after the moving guys left, and was pushy and manipulative about the payment for the 30 extra minutes the guys agreed to. He said anything over 10 minutes extra gets the customer charged for a full hour on 'the website' and he 'has to be honest to the website.' The way David handled the conversation left me feeling harrassed and coerced.

• This is an email from an actual customer on July 22, 2023 for 8 hours. These guys are exceptional! They were extremely professional, respectful, and polite. They were extremely experienced and I notices they communicated between each other frequently to prevent damage to the items or to the house. There were no hidden charges, they arrive a few minutes early and finished the job on-time. I would recommend to anyone wanting professional movers. I would also point out they were not the cheapest movers available although paying for quality work, dependable workers who show up on-time is well worth the money.

• Quick but careful services! Dallas was willing to be flexible, which I highly appreciated. Due to weather and me wanting to arrange some of my boxes better before we loaded our Uhaul, I asked if we could reschedule to the next day and they were able to make it happen! They worked tirelessly the whole two hours I reserved them for. I was worried everything wouldn’t fit in the truck, but they are professional and know how to arrange everything so that it would all fit safely! This is actually my second time moving with A1 Moving Specialists and both times were positive experiences! I would easily hire them again.

• We provided numerous moving blankets and ratchet straps, though none of them were used. This resulted in numerous wine glasses and other fragile stuff being damaged or broken. Our leather couch has scratches and holes, our dressers have gouges in them. We had taken everything out of the big containers like dressers and cabinets, and indicated which things should be filled after they were loaded to reduce the weight of loading, though everything was left empty. This resulted in needing to purchase additional moving space afterwards. The guys said to pay them in cash for the extra hours and provided tip in cash, too. Though I don't see those hours updated on the website.
